Cyberspace Sleuth Cautions Fellow Americans Against Laxness on Terrorism

by Allie Martin

"And if we ignore issues like this," he says, "we ignore them at our risk.
 When I read this particular statement it reminded me of how much responsibility we have as christians in not only spreading the gospel and witnessing, but also in the area of addresing issues in our own country in the right way.
2  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Christians In Government on: October 09, 2005, 01:23:52 AM
For the last two weeks, I watched a television broadcast on TBN that was indeed an eye opener.  Bishop Keith Butler is a pastor, and a candidate for the U.S. senate in Michigan. The other man's name is David Barton. I can't remember all of what Barton does, but he is definitely active in the activities of our Gov't. I would like to pose a question, and even a review of the role we should be taking as christians in our public offices, and why. How much influence could we have?
3  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:India's High Court to Consider Christian Dalits' Demand For Equality on: October 09, 2005, 12:55:50 AM
blackeyedpeas; october 18th will definitely be a day to be praying and praising that God's will, will  be done in this situation. I think I'll just start thanking Him ahead of time for the victory! How about you? just start reminding the enemy he has already been defeated!
4  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:National Porn Sunday October 9 on: October 09, 2005, 12:34:53 AM
Pastor Roger;
 About a yr. or so ago, one of the leaders in the church and his wife opened up to the congregation and shared their testimony. He had been addicted to pornography. He and her shared how it almost destroyed their marriage. And it would have had they not confronted it together.He revealed his secret to her, and with the help of Godly counsel, was totally set free of it. Our church feels that one of the ways to be set free is to expose the enemy for who he is. Once that is done, expect total freedom in receiving His truth. For Hosea 4:6 says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:" We would much rather learn by revelation, than from trouble, if I may borrow what our pastor spoke on a couple of weeks ago about walking in the Spirit of Revelation. Once we "know" what God's word says, and then apply what it says, the enemy cannot stay hid.He must be exposed for the liar that He is, and know that "greater is He that is in God's people than he that is in the world."(1 Jn.4:4) This is the most loving, non judgemental church my husband and I have ever had a privilege to be a part of. My prayers will be that many will be delivered and set free tomorrow. God Bless
