Please pray for our Christians brothers and sisters in Egypt; as many of you are aware, Mohammed Mursi was sworn in as Egypt's President; he is the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. The reason I ask you to pray for Christians, is because of the information I have recieved below in red.

I too love Israel. I am sure there are many people in this forum that love Israel too - certainly the conversations I have had with people in this role, there is much love for Israel.

With regards to your response 'Soldier For Christ' - I am in shock. I have never heard of such a thing happening in a church and it is so sad to hear this.

We Christians (not ones in name), have a lot of work to do to reveal the gospel to the Jewish people. I have many Jewish friends who know of family ancestors directly affected by the holocaust. Much of the holocaust actions were done in 'the name of Christ'.

Of course, we know that it was done in 'the name of satan'. But the stigma attached to Christians from Jewish people in the UK and Europe is incredibly high. Satan has really done damage and now that I am not so angry, I am beginning to realise that warfare is needed. Which is why the quotation from Romans above is such a wonderful promise.

Erm, I have read my initial post - a little too general I think. I mean there are 'some' Christians that are like this, which no one can disagree. Sadly, I know too many Christians that do not take the significance of Israel seriously. It upsets me - I can't really assert why. Perhaps a recent conversation below, with a Christian, may help you to understand why I am saddened and angry by some.

UC: I hate Jews.
Me: Why?
UC: Just. [A number of explictives after this]
Me: Who is sitting at the right hand of God?
UC: Jesus.
Me: What religion is he?

I must vent my frustrations in the hope that most of you will understand where I am coming from.

Some days ago and switched on the TV. I accidently turned to one of the God channels to hear the following:
"The Bible does not say Yeshua it says Jesus. Jesus is for the gentiles, the Jews are no longer part of God's plan."

How can we call ourselves Christians when we completely eliminate Yeshus, our Jesus who came for 'the Jews first, then the gentiles'? For crying out loud, why have we forgotten the Jews?

My saviour is a JEW!!! for goodness sake! I am getting offended by the naivety of so many - I cannot believe how anti semetic some Christians are.

Christianity overlooked the holocaust. If we have a replacement theology, we could assert that Islam has replaced Christianity.

I cannot get over the total disregard to our Jewish brothers and sisters  that have suffered abuse because of Christians. We cannot forget these people, surely?

Wow! That article took me by complete surprise. I hope God reveals the sins being committed here and that there will be repentance!

I think I agree with the majority of you. Many churches in the UK are willing to compromise. Yet, I cannot condemn compromisers, as there was a time when I called myself a Christian, yet I was more than willing to compromise! I thank God that he revealed the level of compromise so clearly to me.

There is a big danger with any sort of compromise. I sometimes wonder what it will be like for so called leaders, who are more than willing to compromise, during the day of judgement. There will be a number of people who believe they are saved and then will find that they are not - why? Because they were never told the truth!

Hello everyone, I share this because I feel led to. I recently read the following verse: 'Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:'

This is not the first time I have read this verse - I have read it many times and I have understood what it means. When I read it yesterday, it struck me! It struck me as this is just as relevant to people who profess to be Christians than non- believers.

I do not know about you but the closer I got to God, the more difficult it becomes. Your sin, your shame and so much more is revealed - you cannot do anything without God. According to Matthew 7:13, this is how it should be (or at least this is how I interpret it).

Have you ever come across a verse that has had a wow factor. If so, please share them with the expectancy that the word will speak to people through us.

I have not heard of this ministry until today but I am incredibly encouraged to read this thread. The entire republic is a land of Paradox - it is a land that desperately needs the truth of the gospel.

I have been to India before, and the gospel preached is often interspersed with previous beliefs; this is why I pray that India recieves the full and true and living word of the gospel.

The biblical references given do sum up the theme of this debate. I find it incredibly frustrating that the church is not prepared to tackle this subjects (and others might I add). The 'diluated gospel' is not a gospel at all - it's, in its fabric, the road map to hell.

For those of you who share my frustrations, the best thing to do is not speak or say anything unless Father tells you to. Trust me, from my experience it's more effective to give a timely word spoken in truth than an 'untimely' word, though spoken in truth, falling on deaf ears.

Does any body else have any suggestions or strategies to cope with this frustration? Or does any one disagree with my comments or Pastor Rogers?

Dear all,
Hell in this day and age is something we ought to be speaking of regularly; unfortunately, I feel that the Church (at least in the UK), no longer speaks of such a place. One persons view of hell, a Christian said that she thought hell was 'Complete seperation from God'. Of course, that is correct. Nevertheless, when I probed her regarding hell being a lake of fire, she completely dismissed it. I do not condemn her but I do not believe her account of hell. I believe that it is life long suffering in a lake of fire - it is a place of torment. Why do I believe this? God's word states ' where the worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched' which I believe is in the book of Mark.

My questions to you are:

1. What do you believe and why?
2. Why the church has become so cold to this message?
