Normally and plainly understanding biblical prophecies in the Old Testament clearly shows that the literal nation of Israel still awaits restoration nationally and spiritually.
Yes, Israel still has a hope. What is sad is that many Bible scholars today make the Church-which is a new entity in God's program-as the fulfillment of these prophecies citing similarities between the Church and future Israel. But similarity does not always mean sameness.
Of course, it is to be expected that the Church and Israel should have similarities because the Church in this age enjoys the spiritual blessings of Israel, while Israel now has been set aside temporarily. The Church has been grafted in the Olive tree of Israel.
I agree with you that Israel still has hope. But what is sad is that some of Christendom is boasting against Israel saying that Israel has no more hope because the Church has fulfilled the prophecies.
