Hey wow.. three replies. Am I totally slow or what? ^^
Anyway, the whole thing of Revelations scared me. Especially the part where the angel says "I know where you live" when he's sending the letter to one of the churches. I had to read that part again to make sure I got it right.
And the whole firey death deal thing.
Or perhaps the fact because it was three in the morning when I read it and currently high on sugar... Either way, it was creepy to me.

I just thought this was the absolute funny/cutest thing in a while. Silly kitties.. ^^ I found it while browzing profiles on a different site. My brother and I were watching it for at least a half hour, making all sorts of stupid commentaries and laughing. ^^

Okay, Thanks. ^^ And I have read Frank Peretti's Hangman's Curse and Nightmare Acadamy. I'm not sure if there are any more though.
Thank you for clearing this up for me, as a person once told me that reading Stephen King was wrong. (I was just like. 0.o;; meh? and got very confused.)
Once again, Thanks for your help. ^^

Okay, I was wondering if it was nessisarily wrong to read such books as Stephen King where it's riddled with profanity and material for mature audiences.
I have currently read a number of his books including the entire gunslinger series, Dreamcatcher, It, and Carrie, although it never really occured to me that I might be hurting myself by reading these things.
My dad, who is a pastor (although just not to any church.), is okay with me reading them and is actually slightly impressed that I get most of the meaning out of it, but I'm still confused a bit.
Anyone care to help clear up the mess a bit?

Cool. Thanks to everyone.
Just a quick question though: Is reading books like Stephen King or other such thing bad for a christian to do? (Just wondering because I'm really into some of his books right now)
Scratch that. I'll just ask in the book section. ^^

Hello everyone. Pardon me if I might talk in third person every now and again.
I'm 14 years old and grew up in a christian family, but like every other person gets in their life is a bit confused. Last night I was reading my Bible, specifically Revelations, and I got really scared. So, as a result, I told myself that I should do something about it. That's when I got the briliant idea to join a christian forum. It's worth a try, no? since I am on the internet most of my day anyway, I might as well hang around people who can help me.
Thank you for listening to my somewhat ramblings
