Prayer / Prayer Requests / A prayer request
|

Hello everyone!
Happy New Year!
I have a prayer request. I need to find a job. I would really prefer a job where I could stay at home with my kids. I would really have a difficult time putting them in daycare. I am an experienced nurse, but an having a difficult time finding a telecommuting job using my nursing skills.
I have tried running my own daycare, but my heart is not in it now. I have a lot of skills and am trusting God that He would find the perfect job for me.
I have thought about starting a job agency that would cater to stay at home moms (jobs such as data entry, medical transcribing etc.). It really has been laid heavily on my heart to help out other stay at home moms like myself to earn a decent wage at home and still take care of their own kids. I am praying for what God wants me to do.
I would greatly appreciate the prayers. I am trying to get a job before the end of January.
Thanks

What I am thankful for:
*A loving Heavenly Father who loves us unconditionally *loving, God-fearing husband and 3 sweet, adorable kids *A surplus of great Christian friends who are always there for me *President Bush's election victory *The freedoms that we have in the US (especially Freedom of Religion)

I live in Washington.
The most current interesting fact about WA: Mt. St. Helens! It has already had some small eruptions. The geologists are still expecting more. It was more than 20 years ago when it had the bigger eruption. I remember the second time it blew, I was just a few miles away at a camping site and felt the rumble. We packed out camping things quickly and we had ash on our car.
Washington is a great place to live. There is a lot to do here and it is full of very interesting historical facts.

I use to be painfully shy when I was young. Part of the reason was due to very low self-image. I use to let people walk all over me and tell me what to do. I never really thought for myself. Because of different circumstances in my life I have had to learn to stand up to people and do a lot of painful confronting. I have learned a lot through those experiences and each time I have had to confront someone--it get's easier.
I really think I have missed out on a lot of things in life due to my shyness, but it is something I have truly overcome. God has been with me through the difficult times and He continues to.
I am outgoing and tend to speak my mind too much at times, but I feel great that I can do that now.

I don't eat much junk food. I really don't have a sweet tooth, plus I am trying to get fit again, but when I want something really good and I don't care if it is bad or not, I really like deep fried mozzarella cheese sticks.
On a healthier note, I really like fresh spring rolls with a good dipping sauce. I could make a meal out of them.
I keep replying to all the food topics. I must be hungry. I'd better broaden my horizens and choose a non-foodie topic!
