Hi!   Yes, it is a version of that song, that I formed the words to my little comosition.    You have a more modern version than I had.   It helps to hear the words in the more modern form (helps to make it more understandable to the modern world) - that's why I thought to change the wording some on it.
Thank you for sharing your version of the song with me!

Hi, Catharine!
Thank you for your comments!    Yes, I'm sorry all those question marks were in there.    I think it is because I copied it from my Geocities website, and it ends up with all those question marks on it.   I'll try to do better next time!
             Bye.

LIFE?S RAILWAY TO HEAVEN
Life is like a mountain railroad - with an engineer that?s brave!   We must make the run successful, from the cradle to the grave.    So watch and be careful with  the curves, the tunnels - the difficult spots there are for you to drive your train through.   Keep your hand upon the throttle, and keep your eyes on the rails as you travel along.

Your journey will sometimes be easy, but other times, difficult.    You will cross bridges of trouble and hardship.    So make sure that you let Christ be your conductor, on this train ride that speeds through life so quickly.    Be on guard against obstructions - you don?t want to run into any of them!   Live your life as a service to God, as it is only your rightful duty.

When you?ll ride across the trestle that crosses the Jordan River?s swelling tide, you will see the Union Heaven Depot, into which your train will glide.  There, you?ll meet the Superintendent, God the Father, God the Son.   He?s greet you there with the happy words, ?Welcome home, weary pilgrim!?    And the happy angels will also have their words of joy to say at the happy event of your arrival there, too!
