No I don't unfortunately. The current version is actually quite stable. In fact, the software has been quite stable for a long time now. I've been a support person for 6 months now and there really haven't been any major stability issues, mainly bug fixes and new features. RC2 is perfectly stable. In fact, there are many huge forums running SMF at the moment, and none of them have reported any stability problems at all:
dubcc.com/forum - 6483 members redandwhitekop.com/forum - 5855 members army.ca/forums - 4617 members
The largest SMF board that I know of right now is the support forum for the PHP/MySQL photo gallery software Coppermine. They're running the previous RC version (RC1) but they've got 10026 members and have been running SMF for some time now.

That movie came out nearly 20 years before I was born (I was born in 1982), but I did rent it from the library one time (the only place I could find it) and think it's an excellent film. The theme song is great. The instrumental version is probably best remembered, but here are the lyrics: This land is mine, God gave this land to me This brave and ancient land to me And when the morning sun reveals her hills and plain Then I see a land where children can run free
So take my hand and walk this land with me And walk this lovely land with me Though I am just a man, when you are by my side With the help of God, I know I can be strong
Though I am just a man, when you are by my side With the help of God, I know I can be strong
To make this land our home If I must fight, I'll fight to make this land our own Until I die, this land is mine!

I have a lot of favorite movie lines, but my all-time favorites come from the 1987 movie Spaceballs. While the movie is a bit crude in spots and the language isn't great, there are a ton of funny quotes from that film, including:
"I'm a Mawg. Half man, half dog. I'm my own best friend!" "May da Schwartz be with you!" "What's the matter, Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?" "I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate!"

I am a huge ApologetiX fan and have been for some time (ever since their K-Love interview several years ago). I've seen them in concert 3 times, have most of the CDs (everything from Biblical Graffiti through Adam Up and the Christmas EP) and have even held a chat with the band. I think they're great, and love what they're doing. My favorite songs are "It's Not Eden", "Downer of a Sister", "Elijah", "The Real Sin Savior" and "Cheap Birds"... Check out my site if you want and even post on the board - two extremely dedicated fans post out there for several hours each day (although they're about the only ones who do post...) and there's a lot of great discussion

Shylynne, Yes, you can tar and feather me, but only if you use really pretty peacock feathers. Patzt, Yes, it was last night that I asked ADMIN to delete my out-box so I could use it again. I've read a lot about the update for YABB SE, called Simple Machines Forum. I would first want to tell everyone that I know almost nothing about forum software. I did run a BBS for many years, but a forum is much more complicated, especially if the database runs more than just a forum. There are rave reviews from everyone who is using Simple Machines Forum, even from the first beta releases. I understand that it is close to a final release and most of he bugs worked out. It is supposed to be as fast as greased lightning. I do know a little bit about database functions, and I think that the database portion is responsible for the much greater speed. I also understand that Simple Machines Forum offers a lot of new features and excellent stability. If I understand things correctly, the final release should be ready to go any day now. When the final release does come out, we'll need to send ADMIN home-made cookies, lots of coffee, and a sympathy card for all the work involved. Love In Christ, Tom Actually, upgrading is relatively easy. The hardest part is uploading all the new SMF files. SMF has a lot more files than YaBB SE does, but it works great and has many great features that I'm sure everyone here will love... I'm new here (Pat invited me), but as a support person for SMF, I know a lot about the system and have converted many forums (including Pat's). I will look into this PMs thing. I just sent myself a PM and it arrived just fine, so I don't know what the deal is.
