1  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Christ's Coming and Comet on: August 26, 2004, 04:15:20 AM

Christ’s Coming & Comet

I will not quote a lot of Scriptures for the sake of readability and brevity, but I can certainly defend Scripturally anything in this article. If the reader is Bible friendly hopefully he or she will find new avenues which make the Bible mysteries open up new and more sensible understanding. All of us humans have been deceived at one time or another, but we do not have to remain so if we are willing to learn with an open mind.

The “Coming of the Messiah” is expected by both Jews and Christian In this early 21st Century. With very different expectations of course, yet even such an important concept is terribly misunderstood by most Bible leaders and believers.Do we understand that the Coming of Christ(Messiah) is distinctly tied to the arrival of a comet or asteroid delivering a set of calamities humanity has never experienced. Thus this event is called “unique” by Christ.

Duality(pair) and the number 4 are often found in the Bible. Duality often brings similar events at different times while four can be found introducing God’s plans or impressive Divine knowledge. We find four angelic beings at God’s throne and there are four gospels introducing the New Testament.

The duality of separate events can be found in the two very different sets of heavenly signs which announce the Coming and the Appearing of Christ/Messiah. These two events are separated by about 3 and ½ years, which is a triennial period, half of seven years. This is important because only 3 and one half years remain of the seven years set apart for Divine Ministry in Daniel chapter 9. Therefore the ministry of the Two Witnesses Divinely inspired, is 3 and ½ years, just as the “times of the Gentiles” and reign of the Antichrist are roughly concurrent and of the same length(1260 days, 42 months).

The symbology of the Levitical holy days and seasons demonstrate a pattern of many things, but in this case the most important point is the seven days of the Spring
Unleavened bread(Passover), during which Christ was killed in the very middle of the seven days. So He had half of the seven years as God among us 2000 years ago, while 3 and ½ years remain today of the final Divine ministry which will be administered by the Two Witnesses. Daniel chapter 12 and Rev 11 go into detail about the final yet future tribulations when we remember the ‘day for a year’ rule, where the finish of the 3 and ½ years of the Two Witnesses are symbolized as they lie dead for 3 and ½ days.

The comet will part of the Coming of Messiah, who does NOT go to Jerusalem upon His arrival(invisible). On a future date the comet or asteroid will pass very near earth and bring the conditions of the first four trumpets of the book of Revelations. Between 1130 am Jerusalem time and noon, about thirty minutes four huge trumpet blasts will signal His return to earth. All conditions found listed under these four trumpets will begin and come to be fulfilled after the four trumps.
The main comet/asteroid body will not impact earth in the near miss but one ¼ mile chuck will impact in the Atlantic ocean, in the English channel, and trigger many deadly conditions along with the other events connected. The movie “Deep Impact’ was probably inspired by God since most of the things in the movie will become reality. He good news is that the tidal waves will not be as bad as the movie depicts. Other good news-He brings many believers their rewards.

Cordially,

Rich
2  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:America's role in the end times.. on: August 19, 2004, 12:44:21 AM
America today in Bible prophecy is directly in Deut 33:17
of Joseph in the latter days, which is the theme of Deut 33.
Here we find bloodline of the so called "Lost Tribes" and Ephraim is the US while Manasseh is Britain. Notice the precise troop ratio of ten to one in troop strength.

Deut 33, gen 49, Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 12 & 21, and other Scriptures concern the US and western Europe.

IDENTITIES!!! That is the key to understanding Bible prophecy and also to properly understand the Dead Sea Scrolls and the writings of Nostradamus as well.

If we cannot properly identify such nations as "Elam" in Jer 49 we will not have seen what has happened there in the past 15 or more  years in the Bible.

If we do not recognize symbolic "Tyre" is the US
and "Edom" is Iraq we will not have seen prophecy being fulfilled in the Persian gulf war. The US is also part and parcel of "Babylon" with a leader from our nation to become  the antichrist. The list goes on and on.

But it is not too late by any means to learn and put our learning to work for us that we may be better prepared soldiers for Christ/God.

Cordially,

Wink

Thanks for the welcome!

I do not like wars either, but we will have them until the Kingdom, and some of us will become literally Christian Soldiers. Our weapons may be different but our work and sacrifices will be laid out ahead of us on a prepared path
not yet visible.

And we may just be invincible as described in Psa 91 and Rev 9:4.

4  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:UFO's what ae they? on: August 19, 2004, 12:21:07 AM
UFO's are indeed real events, and are demonic, being the drowned children(nephilim I believe is the term) of the Watcher angels and human women.

I also believe they will play a part as aliens, probably helping the antichrist and false prophet. I think there are some answers connected with Mars and the numerous missions to that planet. The Mars moon "Phobos" may also play a key role later on. Some believe a comet pass may have already upset it's course.

5  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / The Great unnamed Empire on: August 19, 2004, 12:15:16 AM
If you like great secrets this may appeal to you.

I submit to you that the greatest empire ever in human history is seen in our world today, but is not recognized, and is not even named properly.

All of the promises God made to Abraham have great meaning for us today-IF we recognize the nations and powerblocks as prepared in such detail in the Bible.

The answers are all in the Bible . But all too often we read such common verses as Luke 21:20 and never ask ourselves why He said "Judea" and not "Israel". He should know!!!

Dear Pastor Sidebottom,

You have chosen a very worthy subject and which should be a vital part of our personal relation with Christ/Messiah.

I do feel led to mention something that quite commonly happens with Bible believers. We see one thing when two things are scheduled. The heavenly signs you mention will have two occurances-
1. First when He comes.
2. Second when He appears.

The two sets will be separated by some 3 1/2 years.

It is common to find among Christian leaders an attack on Jerusalem, when there are two in Scripture we should sort out and understand.

And two covenants-both valid(wine and wineskins parable).

And two major resurrections.

Thank you for introducing such an important topic.

7  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:Why Study Bible Prophecy? on: August 19, 2004, 12:00:57 AM
A good post I think, and some solid thinking. I'm not sure about the Zeitgeist meaning=perhaps time ghost?

I am convinced that we need to understand certain things about Bible prophecy if we would gain understanding of the Bible as it relates to us believers today.

A close family member was killed last week and the preacher who gave the sermon, Baptist I think, reminded me of several things. One is the confusion among Christians about the two major resurrections and another about the mysterious why of death being unanswered in the Bible.

If we do not see the two very separate and different resurrections then we have a very flawed view and flawed expectations. This could jeapordize our salvation in some cases. There is no substitute for truth in religion. The parable of the ten virgins is a good study here. The 'oil' for the lamps symbolizes UNDERSTANDING and here we can see a great portion being unprepared by understanding what God will do in the future.

The Bible is often simple with many similies from OT to NT
and is indeed the most precise and complicated instrument on earth. The study of prophecy is a very difficult regiment, and the vast majority of believers will probably choose a prophet to interpret for them, because it takes decades or longer to
sort out the subjects and identify the players in rleation to our early 21st Century.

I am a newbie to this forum, and it has been years since I've posted to any forums. I seem to have a bit of time to participate in a limited fashion so will be interested to see
what pops up.

Do you recognize the current Iraq war in Bible prophecy?

How about the Balkans?

And the Persian Gulf war?
