1  Theology / Bible Study / Re:Mark them which cause divisions... on: April 07, 2004, 06:15:24 AM

I have sat here reading what you all have to say about JudgeNot's question. Very insightful to a problem that I have going on now. The only thing is I don't know how to actually say or tell to someone about what is going on cause it involves a member at church which is the pastors daughter. It is one of those situations where it is a their word against mine. My husband doesn't understand why these people are being the way they are, of course I dont either. I told my Hubby that we can't mark the whole church over just a few. I want to say something so bad, but you know, I am just going to let God handle it. I know that one of these days the real truth of what happened is going to come out. But when is the Q? But it is all in God's hands.

The good thing out of all of this is that I have begun to dig a little deeper and more often into the word of God. So actually may I owe these people a very big THANK YOU!

I will continue digging in the Word and Truth. Smiley

the only way I'll get into heaven is by the grace of God."

"Bingo, 100 points! Come on in!"

Cool Thanks for the great study. I was just studing this yesterday, took my bible and papers to sons practice. It was kinda funny in a way. Here I was sitting there looking up these scriptures and writing them down and occasionally looking up shouting encouragment to my son.... Inspirational... Cool

6  Entertainment / Books / What I just finished reading. on: April 06, 2004, 07:25:46 AM
I have just finished reading the latest Left Behind book.
I thought it was marvelous. Just thinking about My Savior coming back to fight the battle, to lock satan up for 1000 yrs, and to get to be with Jesus forever. WHAT A CONCEPT!

I know, and what some forget is that this is "FICITON" of what it could be like. Maybe it will happen this way or that. It is fiction with Scriptures in there.

I tell ya what this book series has done for me. It gets me more excited about the scriptures, especially Rev.

Quick note. For those that know the book of Rev, this book could be confusing. You have to be able to take the Facts from the fiction.  Gotta love my Jesus, my Savior, My Redeemer and my Friend...

7  Welcome / About You! / NEW NEW NEW on: April 06, 2004, 07:02:17 AM
Hi all.  Cheesy I am new, as of this morning! I'm always excited to come across places where Christians can come together in fellowship.
A bit about myself.

I am 35 have been married for 17 yrs to a wonderful man that God has called to preach,(evangelist), have 3 wonderful active teenagers. (16,15,13) I am a companion to 2 mentally handicapp adult men. About 10 yrs ago God showed me that I had been living a lie, He had showed me that without Him I was absolutley NOTHING. One of my children was facing a reality of spending some time in a hospital 300 miles away, and God showed me that without Him I wouldnt make it on my own. I am PROUD to say that I am a Born Again Child of God!!
I have been working in our church, teaching teenage Sunday School, singing with a group in church, cleaning the church and working in the church flower beds. <whew> I just love my Jesus and I thank Him for all that He has given me.

Looking forward to fellowshipping with everyone. God's blessing to you all..........
Cheesy
