Thank you everyone for your explanations! I think I am begining to some what understand. This is kinda the way I am understanding it. Please give me your inputs and or opinions. The way I am seeing it is that the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost are like a puzzle. They are their own seperate piece but are not complete unless they are put together to make the whole picture. Agian, Thank you for your help. I will continue in my search to become closer to the Lord and understanding his word. God Bless

These are many of the verses that say Jesus now sits at the right hand of God. I don't understand these verses when it comes to Jesus being God in the flesh and also sitting at Gods right hand. I am a new christian seeking Gods true word. Would someone please help me to understand this! Thank you and God Bless!
Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Luke 22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
Act 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Act 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Act 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
Act 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1Pe 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

I have been going to a Pentacostal church. It is some how affiliated with the Assemblies of God, although not sure how. Nothing has ever been said about what to watch or whether to watch tv or how long ones hair should be. They teach that we are saved through the blood of Jesus, not the evidence of speaking of tongues. But like you said there are many different Pentacosts just as other denominations. I am still learning and I try to stick with what the bible says rather than what a denomination says. It's less confussion to me. -Bawilli

Feeling pretty down tonight and just need to talk about it. Went to church tonight and everything started off great with singing and prayer. Everyone was invited to the alter who needed a prayer. There were laying of hands and a few fell to the floor. It was unlike anything I have seen before. I was a little confussed to be honest. Later the pastor had several member stand face to face far enough apart for others to walk through and again there were laying of hand and the Holy Ghost was filling the room and touching lives like I have never seen before. Through most of this I stood at my chair and watched. Why did I not get involved. Isn't that what I was suppose to do? The rest of the evening really had me feeling down. I feel like I let Jesus down. I feel really low right now and just needed to talk about it. Is this what it feels like when the Devil gets a hold on ya? I'm sorry for being such a downer I just need to get this off me so I can brush the Devil off me and keep following the Lord! Thank you for listening and being here. -Bawilli

Thanks Jenn... I needed to look into this because I had some one trying to convince be that it was disgusting after seeing a black and white couple with a child. I saw a family! I wanted to tell her how I felt but I also wanted to see what the bible said about it. I can't find anything in the old testament saying it is wronge and she wouldn't tell me where to find it. Anyway, Thank you for your help! -Bawilli

Growing up I was always told that Satan was a fallen angle of God. Is there scripture to confirm this? If not, where did Satan come from? Thank you!
