Hi I have just joined. I am a mother of six daughters, and nine grandchildren. I live in the United Kingdom. I have been a christian for 16 years. I love to pray and encourage people. I hope to be working next year with people with addictions. I have many hobbies which I try to persue if time permits. I hope to get to know you in time, I hope that I may learn and grow in the Lord more.

You sound like a very interesting and strong Christian. I'm sure that you already know that your chosen area of work with the addicted will be very difficult. I hope that you like it here well enough to stay with us and make this a place of refuge with many other Christians who are also dealing with difficult matters.

Welcome to Christians Unite. I work with a lot of teens and pre-teens, in doing so I must also help some of them with addictions. It is a very difficult profession but it definitely has its rewards also. My prayers will be with you.
