     About 7 years ago I had a dream.  In the dream I was cooking at a restaraunt, and all of a sudden I heard trumpets(very loud), and then the ground began to shake.  Everybody in the restaraunt ran outside and looked up.  The sky was a weird color, kinda blue/green.  What we saw was amazing!  Jesus in the air, arms stretched out, and millions, and millions of angels.  I then saw people on the streets, and sidewalks on their knees looking up, and crying uncontrolably, saying, "I can't believe this was true, I can't believe it was actually true".
     Then I saw a large white house at the end of the street, and for some reason I knew I was supposed to go into it.  I ran to it, and went in and started to run up the staircase.  I got to the top, and there was a door, so I went through it, and on the other side there was another stair case.  When I ran up this one when I got to the top the door was smaller, and harder to get through.  The same happened when I got through, but each time the stairs got more rickety, and the door was getting almost too small to get through.  When I got to the end(for some reason I knew it was the last door),  It was too small to get through, but the real reason I never went through was because I was afraid of what was on the other side, even though I never knew.
     About 3 years after I had that dream, I was at a bible study, and the discussion got around to talking about dreams, and dreams we have had.  This woman said about 3 years ago she had a dream, and it was the same as I had.  When she got to the point where she was at the last door, I blurted out "did you go through, what was on the other side".  She said she went through, and on the other side was a large marble terrace, and Jesus was standing there.  She went up to Him, and he hugged her, and then took one arm off of her, and pointed to His kingdom.  She said the stairs became harder and the doors smaller the closer you get to Jesus because it get's harder to give up the things that hold you back.  The doors became smaller because "we must decrease, while Christ increases".
     About 4 years ago I was standing by a lake, and then everything went slow motion, almost like I was in a trance.  I was looking at the little ripples, and tiny waves on the lake, and then for a moment I was given the the understanding that every ripple and wave on this lake was not only created by God, but He was very aware of each one.  I could not keep this level of understanding with me after it was over, but before it was finished Jesus said to me, and I quote, "I will be back before the first wave reaches the last".  I don't know what this means, maybe a generation or something along those liness, but Hw will be back very soon.

A dear friend had a similar experience with earthquakes...

Would you be kind enough to define 'very soon'. as used in the quote above?

Very soon to me, means in my life time.  I firmly believe this, first from what I read in His word, and second, from the visions, and dreams I have had.  I am 31 years old, and believe that I will be an old man when this happens, but I do believe that my feet will be walking this earth when our King comes.  This is of course a faith statement, and whether no one, or everyone shares this opinion, it is what I believe.  The bible say's that hoping for His return purifies us, and it is not only my hope, but my expectation that He will return soon.

          WOW totally awesome, I've had dreams that I KNOW defiantly are from God. It seems they are always with me, a reassurance comes with them, also the prophetic kind of dreams sometimes those are hard to remember but I always have a sense that they are of God.
      I love your dream, and how the Lord gave you the interpitation thru someone else. I really thinks he does this to make us aware, to really really know that its of him, and not just something we ate for supper.... :P
     One of my favorite dreams was several years ago, I was coming to terms with some nasty stuff from my childhood, and I kept saying how can God love me, what am I to him, blah blah....so I asked him do you love, and why. It wasn't but a few days later that i had this dream. Wheat field as far as the eye could see, not ready to cut, still green, out of the heavens came this loving beautiful hands. A so very very gently they picked up one stock of wheat, and ever so kind he placed that stock of wheat in a basket and took special care of the roots. Those hands were Gods, I was the wheat stock and even tho I continue to wonder sometimes how he could love me, I know he does, because of that dream. It may have been in my head but it did something to my heart.
    I have no doubt that Christ will return soon. I look forward to the day when he does return, and like in your dream there is going to be LOTS of people crying, I feel such a call on my life to make sure as many people know and make themselves ready. Mostly the youth of this world.

Hitch, i appreciate your input, but I will spend my whole entire life hoping, and expecting His return,  My faith is in Jesus Himself, not what He does, or doesn't do.  We all ought to hope for His return, and honestly if you don't I would wonder about you.  I'm not saying this to be critical of you, but if it's not your greatest desire to be held in His arms, then that is something I would be concerned about if I was you.  

Music, you hit the nail right on the head!!  I was both inspired, and encourged by your dream.  The Lord really reached out to you, man He loves us so much!!!  Keep running the race, and I will too, and we will see each other at the finish line.  God Bless you!!!!

Actually I'd rather see someone  truely repent and convert.

Hitch: even though it might be theologically not very sound, I am more happy with all of the World ruled by His power, then the search for the 0.001% remnant that is very capable to find Him by themselves, as they are called annd pulled by Him.

Maybe I saw too much fake converts, too much fake churches, too much fake power.

The Church Ages are in my view (almost) over, and it shows....  

7 years for the Jews, and kaboom, Him on the throne, the rest is not very important (in my point of view)

My life is in Christ, and I too want to see people "converted", but it is by the spirit of God that people are born again.  Not by might, or by by power, but by His spirit, right.  It's that Spirit that I worship, because God is Spirit, and He looks for those who worship in spirit.  Paul laboured night and day to see people converted, but in the end it was Christ who was his first love.  I suggest reading Phillipians(whole book), and you will see what I mean.

Thank you, God speaks to his people in several diff ways, with some of the comments made so far I wanted to say, that how ever you feel God speaking it must line up with the word. God isn't go I have no doubt that God will return someday, in a pretrib rapture, or if I die a natrual death I will be with him for eternity. The fundemantals of my faith or he is the son of God, he died for me, raised in 3 days. If I error in of think else then I will face judgement just like ever person on earth......do I fear that judgement of coarse but I don't fear going to hell cause the foundation of being who I am is in Christ Jesus. I love to talk scripture I love to talk end times, learning and to diff on opinons makes me dig in deeper for more understanding. If God speaks to you in a dream I know with out a doubt you'll know its of God. He still works in todays world, but as the generations pass the sceptism grows that much more. We are so far away from what God intended, I can't wait to be rid of this flesh that impeeds the flow of the Spirit. My only concern are of the people out there who have no idea what to expect or worse choose not to believe......wow to the enhabitance of this earth who fallow after the desires of the flesh. Who know the truth and ingore it.    
       I don't believe that God will reveal a date or time of his coming that would be totally against what his word says. Not even the angel in Heaven know. So asking someone to do that is also asking them to read the mind of God.....and that aint possible ;D

Hitch, seriously quit being a fault finder.  If you had intelligent responses based on biblical truth, and not scripture totally taken out of context, I would listen.  Just a bit of advice: Don't disagree with people just so it gives the impression of being more spiritual, I've seen it done alot, and it is fruitless.

Your advice rates right up there with your dreams.


Why not just answer my objections from Scripture? And keep your two-bit analyzations where they belong?
