Title: EFFECTIVE PRAYERS THAT GET RESULTS
Post by: teddybear on July 25, 2003, 05:27:05 PM
JAMES 5;16 says,The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth much.
That word availeth is defined as an advantage for the obtaining of something.

In other words, fervent prayers of a righteous person gives an advandage for obtainment.
Fervent prayer gives you an advantage!

Jesus said in Mark 11;24,
Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

It says whatsoever things you desire-not just what you need-but the things you want;the things you desire.
A desire is something you want. One of these days,we're all going to realize God not only gives us what we need, but also what we desire-the very desires of our heart when we delight ourselves in Him (Psalm 37;4).
Prayer gives you an advantage for obtaining something you desire or something you want.

Prayer changes things.

God Bless.

yes, when we pray for something that is  God's will, we will get what we ask for 100% of the time. faith does not mean expecting God to give us everything we want, or in other words expecting God to yield to our will. faith means trusting that God knows better than we do, and that He makes no mistakes, or in other words yielding our will to His. as long as we are in right relationship with God, and we are walking with Him, He answers every single one of our prayers, sometimes with a yes answer, and sometimes with a no answer, depending on His will & wisdom
