Title: Witnessing tips
Post by: Kris777 on August 18, 2005, 12:09:53 AM
Does anyone have any witnessing tips for me.  I would love to talk to people about Jesus more then what I already do, but is there a way of going about it.  What I do is pray for the person or just pray a head of time.  Then I want to try to get the person to tell me what they believe and why.  Then I tell them what I believe.  I pray for my friends that aren't saved.  I wish that God would bring more people to me so that I could talk to them.

How can I improve witnessing skills?  I know that it might not be my spiritual gift, but all Christians have to witness and I believe that I could always improve my skills.  So could you guys give me tips or just tell me what you do?

I have taken some lessons from politicians .....  ;) ;) :D :D

I listen to certain things that a person says or does and try to figure a way to twist the conversation around to God. There is always a way to do so. i.e. Some neighbors were over and were talking about events on the news. I related it to verses in the Bible that talks about such events and then led the conversation from there into the Gospel.

Sometimes the direct approach is better especially if there is no conversation already started. This works when visiting a home for the elderly, those in the hospital or going door to door.

Hello Kris777,

I'm very happy to see this topic, and I hope that many Christians join in this discussion.

First, I think that you have already mentioned the most important thing: Prayer. Prayer for your friends and others that are lost is one of the most powerful things you can do for them. Ask that God softens their heart and makes them receptive to hearing the GOOD NEWS. There are obviously many other things you could pray for (i.e. that they pick up that dusty Bible at home, that they attend church, etc.).

Second, I am convinced that the Holy Spirit will help you in witnessing, so I think that prayer for yourself in having the right words and methods for the right moments is very important. I honestly believe that witnessing is more about praying for the opportunity than skill. Every lost person is different, and I really  think that eloquence and other attributes associated with skill have little to do with touching a person's life and pointing them to Christ. It may be very simple words that finally break through that hard outer shell and touches the heart of a lost person. Again, I am convinced that the Holy Spirit will lay those words on your heart, especially if witnessing is a matter of prayer.

I was just thinking about two of many ways to witness, and I hope that others will mention more. Many Christians carry Bible Tracts on various subjects, Salvation being the most important. They don't have to be big, fancy, or expensive. In fact, you can make your own on your computer or use numerous resources for suggestions. I like the American Tract Society because of their excellent and Biblical material. Unless things have changed, the use of their tracts are free. They just require the message be kept complete and their tiny bit of copyright information at the bottom. It:

American Tract Society
http://www.atstracts.org/

It's easy to find a good excuse to hand someone a Bible Tract. You can also add the address for your church and other contact information for additional help. Professionally done Bible Tracts are not very much money, and the cost goes down when quantity goes up. However, money is a big issue for many people, so doing them on your own computer reduces the cost to almost nothing except paper, ink, and time. It's surprising that Bible Tracts lead to many conversations, some positive and some negative. Both can be used, and that's the time that the Holy Spirit will lay the words on your heart.

The second thing I was thinking about is the wearing of a pin or button that says something like:  ASK ME ABOUT JESUS! or any number of other wordings that would accomplish the same purpose. You can get something like that already made if you have a good Christian Book Store near you. If not, there are many resources on the Internet. There are many people who wear the sign of the "Fish" - the "Fisher of Men". Those come in bumper stickers, lapel pins, and all kinds of other ways. Many people do either recognize that sign, or they might be curious and ask about it. Again, this sign might lead to positive and negative conversations that you can rely on the Holy Spirit to help with the words to use.

In conclusion, I think the most important point I want to make is to stop thinking that skill or professional qualities are needed to witness. In my opinion, it really boils down to:

1 - Pray that God softens the hearts of the lost to hear the GOOD NEWS.

2 - Pray that God gives you the opportunity to witness.

3 - Pray that God sends HIS Holy Spirit to help you and lay the words to use on your heart while you are witnessing.

4 - Get beyond the fear, shyness, or anything else that might be holding you back. Your confidence will increase each time, especially after you know that the Holy Spirit will lead you.

Sister, I'm hoping this helps some. I would really enjoy reading the ideas and suggestions of many others here.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Amen Brother,

There are no special talents required. God gives what we need to say as we need it.

Sometimes a few tools like tracts are very helpful in "breaking the ice". I have several different ones that I use. One of those that I have are designed specifically for Veterans and active duty Military as I see many of them each day. One side of the card says "Thank you for your service. Because of your service I am free to worship God." The other side is a mini-tract that the message varies from one card to the next.

I am finding that the best method for witnessing is just telling my own testimony in a very simple way.  People want to know what Jesus has done for us, before they decide if He is for them too.  After sharing, then we "earn" the right to share the gospel.

Luke 10 is our guide:  Go to someone and declare peace.  Fellowship with them.  Tell them about the kingdom of God.

In His love...

I know that sharing testomonies are very important.  I have been saved since I was about 5 years old.  I don't remember not having God.  I can testify about how he has continued to change me. Hmmm.... Some things in my life I would love to share that God has done for me, but I can't go into detail because I think that the cercumstances of my past situations might make people judge me.  I just have to be careful.

Question for you guys: Have you ever felt that you just can't get enough of God.  I think that I am totally obsessed. ;D No matter how much I learn it is never enough.  The Bible I find facinating and I want to share Jesus to everyone.  I feel that I'm hungery for more and just not satisfied with standing still.  I have to keep moving.

What is frustrating though is I think that I might need to find another church.  I know that I need to get into a Bible study.

Yes!

Then there are other times, I feel overwhelmed, I can feel God, backing off a little bit. <--- I don't know if I said this right, or not. It's hard to explain, the feeling.

I know how you feel DW.  Paul also felt this way.  I read about it in Romans.  God draws you close to him and then after awile he slowly backs away to see how you handle things.  I didn't like the feeling.  I could feel God getting further away.  But just know that it is a test.  Maybe I can find the verse for you.

Hi Kris, I'm a newbie at the forum. Did you know that the best way to witness to anyone is by who you are, how you walk, how you act? Example. My mother in law passed away on June 12, 2005, 2 weeks after that on June 25, 2005 my nephew drowned, days after that I got shingles (PAIN), just thinking of them makes me feel pain. During the time we were out of town for one of the funerals, a tree fell in our yard, broke the fence, and thank God Almighty, the children next door were mot outside, the tree fell on the playset, exactly 15 days ago today my husband had a terrible car accident, he was not hurt, praise God, but our car is still in the shop, it won't be ready till the 23rd. NOW. Just acouple of weeks ago I was in the supermarket singing quietly as I was shopping, I was singing WHEN I THINK ABOUT THE LORD. I was totally unaware of anything or anyone around me. Suddenly a woman touched my shoulder and asked me what do I do to look and feel so happy. WHAT A BLESSING! I began to witness to this dear woman, and she began to cry and tell me she had lost her husband in June, my natural instinct was to put my arms around her, and pray for her peace right there and then, of course quietly. The lady was so impressed that she wanted to know more I ended up giving her all my information and although I have not heard from her yet, I still pray for her because she has a receptive heart. By the way I didn't even buy what I went into the store to get, in fact I couldn't even remember what I went to buy in that particular isle. So you see, of course feeding your spirit man with God's Word, praying, and praising are extremely vital. We must also remember Who our God is and learn to represent Him, He will draw others to Him through us. I hope this will help. Let me know, one more thing never be afraid of being rejected, it's not you who is being rejected, but He Who sent you.  :)

Amen airIam2worship!

Our testimony before others is extremely important. We should definitely be the happiest people in the world because of the hope within us. It should be and is a matter of joy to share our joy, and our joy is JESUS. Our testimony will lead to witnessing opportunities if our living testimony is strong enough. May God give us the wisdom and courage to take advantage of every witnessing opportunity God gives us.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 2:19-22 NASB  So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

;) For all of us, (including myself) who sometimes feel that GOD seems so far away from us after feeling such a close walk with Him, let us keep one very important PROMISE in mind. That promise is found in in Hebrews 13:5, where Paul quotes Jesus as saying "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." (KJV) anyone who has an Amplified Bible can get an even clearer vision, if you will, of that promise. Those are not just a bunch of words put there to fill up space, those are very powerful words coming from our Lord Himself. We have to have the faith, to believe every single word in God's Word, regardless of how we feel. We should also always keep in mind  that we are still living in our fleshly body, we are prone to weaknesses and doubts. Of course the devil will always try to make us think GOD no longer cares for us, that He left us, but we must be steadfast, even in the darkest hour, GOD is always there. The only thing satan can do to keep us from witnessing to others is to intimidate us and make us think we have been abandoned by God. The Bible clearly teaches us that he came to kill steal and destroy, he knows he is doomed, and outnumbered, he cannot take us out collectively, so he tries to plant thoughts into our heads. Fellow Christians, let us continue the race, we will not let any thoughts stop us from filling the earth with the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL. Where would we all be right now if someone had not witnessed to us? Think on these things, Phillipians 4:8-9. Please read these verses in your own Bible, once you have done so, take a moment to meditate on our Awesome God, thank Him, and praise Him. After having done that let us go forth and do what Jesus told us to do. Spread the Word, remember before the end the world as Jesus said the good news of the Gospel should have reached all the corners of the earth. I believe there is still A LOT of work for us to do. We shall be held accountable for those that we should have witnessed to and did not. Let's not lose the faith, we are so close, our time is getting shorter.

Amen airIam2worship!

I love the description Paul uses when talking about what God's children should be doing: fight a good fight and run a good race. As a Christian, that's what our short life here on earth should be like. There is no irony that when we try, our Joy is JESUS becomes more full. AND, the more we try and yield to HIS Will, the more HE will help us and equip us for the work HE wants us to do. Our labor is in JOY and appreciation for what HE has already done for us. I give thanks that many Christians have experienced the fullness of Joy that is possible when we simply yield and let GOD work in us and through us.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Isaiah 55:10-11 NASB  "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Hi airIam2worship. Welcome and thanks for the post.  Sorry I took awhile in replying.  I've been busy with school and work, so I can't be on the computer as much as I want anymore. I have a day off from work today though so  ;D.  I need lemonade and to sit on the couch and relax.

I have a question for you guys.  Some of you might now the thread that I started about Jesus being God.  Well I got to use it!! Jehovah Witness's came to the door.  My dad and I talked to them.  They said that they had to go study some more and come back.  Then today they came back, it's been a week and talked to us some more.  I had alot of verses for them.

My question is, what make's them a cult?  They believe in Jesus from what I understand for salvation but don't believe Jesus is God.  They also don't believe in the Trinity?  This makes them a cult, doesn't it?  Anyway, can someone be saved but don't think that Jesus is God?  Is there bible verses that you guys know of that would show them further that he is indeed God?

Hi Kris777,

Some good information in regards to JW's can be found on "The Fifith Day". Just click on the link at the bottom of my post and then scroll down to the section under cults and click on Jehovah's Witnesses. There is even a portion on witnessing to JW's there.

Hello Kris777,

I wondered where you were. Maybe you can drink lemonade, relax, and post here all at the same time.  :D

Yes, I do remember the thread you started about "Jesus is God", and I'm glad that you got to put some Scriptures to use. Please remember there are two massive threads in the same area and on the same topic, "Jesus Is God". You should find enough Scripture there to witness to dozens of JW's.

Sister, the JW's aren't saved for the same reason that those in Islam aren't saved. JESUS was not just a man, a prophet, a teacher, etc. JESUS was and is VERY GOD! Just a man would be dead and buried, but JESUS arose from the dead on the third day and is our LIVING LORD AND SAVIOUR FOREVER!

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable GIFT, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour Forever!

Sister, if JESUS was just a man and nothing more, HE would represent just another false god with a little "g", an idol, a rock, and whatever else false religions have worshiped as gods for all history. None of those false gods, rocks, or statues have ever saved anyone. JESUS CHRIST was the only perfect sacrifice because HE was PERFECT, HOLY, AND VERY GOD! Our LIVING SAVIOUR is the only way for salvation.

Love in Christ,
Tom

Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB  Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Pastor Roger, I just got done reading what is posted on The Fifth Day and I think that it will help me temendiously.  Thank you.  I also have a Christian video about Jehovah Witness that I want to go over too.  He is coming back next Friday at 2:00.  Pray for me please and for his salvation.  He was interested in the study that I put together (I believe with God's help) and couldn't wait to look over it.  On some parts I think we got him thinking.

Hi Kriss. Glad to see you. Be very careful with Jehova's Witnesses, they are very sly, and the sad thing is that they know so many verses, that they can quote word for word that will make your head spin, and if you are not careful you might get caught up in their lies, that is exactly what the enemy tries to do just as the Bible mentions, they are like wolves, dressed in sheep's clothing.
From what I understand, Jehovah Witnesses, do not believe in the Trinity, they don't even believe that the Holy Spirit is a person. They think the Holy Spirit is nothing but a force, or breath that God uses, they believe that Jesus is the Son of God, because they say that Jesus is the first begotten Son of God. I think they are reffering to the spiritual realm, not the earthly, physical realm. So as far as they are concerned they think that Jesus was just an observer when God created the heaven and earth. They also deny the rapture, they say that Jesus is not comming back for his church again and that the 144,000 are only those that are chosen by God. I once asked a Jehovah Witness how these 144,000 knew they were the elite, she couldn't tell me all she could say is they had revelation knowledege, when I mentioned to her that this revelation knowledge comes from the Holy Spirit living within a born again Christian she was upset and quickly left. They also believe that the only people that are allowed to partake of communion are only the elite, anyone else that partakes of Holy Communion is blaspheming. They also believe that because Peter dreamt that God had told him that all things were made clean and that were good for food; but they do not believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They say it was just for the ones that were in the upper room on Pentecost. They also believe that it is alright to drink alcholic beverages, as long as you don't get drunk. Their beliefs are mixed, they have beautiful literature, and they know a lot about very little. This is a very deep suject, it is good to familiarize yourself with some of their beliefs, but when you do this do it in the light of God's Word, be viligent, and seek God in prayer asking Him to keep you from falling prey. I am sure that there are a lot of wonderful people who are Jehovah Witnesses, and they have been deceived, they think that they are following GOD's Word. They are sincere, we must always keep in mind the Apostle Paul, he was on of the worst persecutors of Christians. Yet God chose him to do a great work for Him, and because of his zealousness towards GOD, Paul became one of the most beloved apostles.  http://www.watchtowerinformationservice.org/

Hi sister, here is some food for thought.

Jehovah's Witnesses
Watchtower Bible and Tract Society

It was founded by Charles T. Russell in 1852, though the first formal organization was in Pittsburgh in 1872.

- 3 million members worldwide, and 926,614 in the USA, with 9,985 Kingdom or Assembly Halls (in 1994).

- Address: 117 Adams Street, Brooklyn, NY 11202 (called "Bethel").

- Before, they have been called "Millennial Downists", "International Bible Students", and "Russsellites", after their first leader.

... Their official name, is not "Jehovah's Witnesses", but an Incorporated Society, the "Wathtower Bible and Tract Society" ... in this Society, the leaders are elected by the number of "stocks" they have; the "President of the Society" is the one who has more stocks... the members do not vote, they do not count, even though they are the ones who bring the money, selling Bibles, Books, the Watchtower, Tracts... the actual President is Milton G. Henschel, since 1993.

Very active members:

The Witnesses are very active, selling 100,000 books and Bibles, and 800,000 copies of its two magazines, daily!... from home to home...

False Prophecies:

The Witnesses are the children of the Adventists, and as the Adventists, they have officially announced the Second Coming of Christ and the Armageddon for 6 dates: 1914, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, and 1975... and never came!...

... The prophet whose prophecies are not fulfilled is a "false prophet"... on everything!.

... But the Society, and the money, keeps going on, because every time there was an "strange explanation", swallowed by some members: After the 1914 failure, the explanation was that Christ did not come to earth, but "became king in heaven", and cast out Satan, with the consequent World War I... After the 1975 failure, there was another explanation ready: The witnesses were told that Adam's creation was in 4026 B.C., and 6,000 years later would be the Second Coming of Christ, in 1975; when the date passed, many members left the Society, but others followed Franz's explanation that the 6,000-year chronology was set forward not since Adam, but since Eve's creation, and the leaders do not know the interval between the creation of Adam and Eve!...

... Henschel, the actual President, has not set a fixed date, only that it will be in the early 2,000s.

"Little Popes"... "Blood Transfusions":

The Witnesses reject the "successor of Peter" of Matt.16:19, the Catholic Pope... but they have their "little Popes", not the successor of Peter, they are self- proclaimed, but much more demanding that the real Pope:

... For example, Russell permitted the "Blood Transfusions", and said "only he with the mentality of a pharisee can prohibit them"... so, at that time all the Witnesses read in the Bible that the Blood Transfusions were a good thing to do...

... But then came their second "little Pope", Rutherford, and "prohibit the Blood Transfusions"... and since then, every Witness reads in the Bible that the Blood Transfusions are prohibited... the 3 million of them!... and if anyone dears to say that the Blood Transfusions are permitted, he will be "disfellowshiped", cast out of the Society, and the rest of the members will consider him as dead, they are forbidden even to speak with him... and the "excommunicated apostate" is told he will not rise from the grave on Judgment Day...

... How come at least 10 Witnesses don't read in the Bible that the Transfusions are permitted, like other 2,100 million Christians do?... you know the reason: Because the actual "little Pope" says so... if another Russell would come, all of them will read in the Bible that Transfusions are good!

... One of the big problems about the Transfusions is that Jesus repeats 4 times "you have to drink my blood", in Jn.6:53-56... but they dismiss it as a "symbol", as told by their "little Popes".

- Some members have been "disfellowshiped" for reading books written by ex-members, or eating with a suspected dissenter... and if a Witness says that "Jesus Christ is God", he will be the worst apostate!...

The "144,000"... the "Brainwash":

The key word for the Society is the "Second Coming of Christ", with the war of Armageddon, won by Jesus Christ, and the beginning of the "Millennium" of Rev.20.

- The Witnesses are told to work hard "now", because from that Day, the 144,000 "anointed ones" since 1914 will live for ever as kings and priests in heaven, as told in Rev.7 and 20; and the "Great Multitude" of Rev.7, will rise from their graves to live for ever on earth like in a paradise, ruling earth under the tutelage of the 144,000 during the "Millennium", ... but only the good Witnesses!... the rest of the wicked people will be annihilated in the Millennium... and the "apostate Witnesses" will not raise from the grave on Judgment Day, at the Second Coming of Christ.

- These ideas, of "raising from the graves" to "rule earth", "like a paradise"... are the basis for the brainwash of the members with biblical after long biblical lectures... and their leaders become like gods for them... there is no other world for a Witness...

... And there are many good honest Witnesses... but brainwashed... no biblical reason makes sense for them, only what they are told in the Kingdom Hall... I pray Jesus to give light to any honest Witness who reads these lines, and I order Satan to get out of his heart, in the glorious name of Jesus, because only Satan can praise Jesus by saying that "Jesus is not God". Thank you, my Lord and my God Jesus Christ... proclaimed just like that in the Bible, in the Gospel of St. John 20:28.

Jesus Christ "is not God"!:

The Jehovah's Witnesses discard most orthodox doctrines of the Bible, conflicting with those of historic Christianity:

- The Holy Trinity is seen as a demonic doctrine, Jesus christ is stripped of his deity, is not God!, the Holy Spirit is robbed of his personality... they deny the physical resurrection of Christ, and there is not eternal Hell... their doctrines on the sufficiency of Christ's atonement, on human government, and on the existence of the soul are not biblical...

- The worst of them all is to say that "Jesus is not God": But their Bible says emphatically the "Jesus is God", on John 20:28, proclaiming Jesus "my Lord and my God"... "Lord"... "God"... the Bible says Jesus is God!... directly... just like that!.

... John 1:1-3, says it also directly; however, in their Bible, Knorr added an "a"... "is a god", and he put not "God", but "god"... but verse 3 says that "all things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being".

- Colossians 1:16-17, also proclaims that "all things" were made by Christ and for Christ... but again, Knorr adds "(other)" several times between "all things", trying to water down the creation of all things by Jesus Christ, material and spiritual... but in Jn.1:3 says it so clearly!... and here Knorr forgot to put the word "(other)" in between...

The Society is the worst vomit of Satan...

... only Satan can may you praise Jesus Christ, by saying the "Jesus Christ is not God"... only Satan can make you living only expecting the Second Coming of Christ, with his great victory of Armageddon, and proclaiming that "Jesus Christ is not God".

They "changed" the "Bible":

Knorr, the third president of the Society, published the Bible of the Society, "The New World Translation"... changing and adding words in many verses... and the Bible says, "if anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him every plague mentioned in the book" (Rev.22:18).

- He changed or added words to verses relating to the "deity of Christ", the "adoration of Christ", the "immortality of the soul", the "eternal Hell"... (Jn.1:1, Colos.1:14-16, 2:9-10, Fil.2:5, Tit.2:13, Heb.1:6, 8, 2Pet.1:1, Matt.28:17, Luc.24:52, 23:43, Matt.25:56)

The Life of a Witness:

It is a strange one: Do not observe holidays or birthdays. Do not vote, salute the flag, work in the military, play chess... no Sabbath is observed, they meet on Sundays to study their Bible... they work haad, "door to door"... making money for the Society.

Resting with the Lord.

Thanks DW and everyone else that has helped me.  I think that this time all I am going to do is give him verses of why Jesus is God.  I hope that my JW packet comes in the mail soon.  It has photocopies of Watchtower magizines dating back 100 years.  They show all the failed prophecies that the wittenesses set.  That ought to rock that dude's unstable foundation. ;D  Pray for me o Friday at 2:00 because he is coming back.  I hope to get him to come back again to see the packet.

Today I got my JW papers!!  The funny thing is I was just thinking about them when I got home.  I was in the car and I said in my mind to God that if he wants me to use them could they please come very soon, not knowing that they were already laying on my doormat.  I listened to the CD that they came with.  This is alot of information.  I sure hope that God gives me the right words to say because I feel so overwhelmed at all of the information that was given to me.  I think that I have alot of studying to do.  I guess the best thing that I can do is first take a deep breath, pray about it, study it and trust that God will be with me when I do this.  I know he will, but I can't help but being excited and nervous at the same time.  It is like up until this time I was shouting insults at the gaint, but now I am going to go and smack the gaint on the head.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and support.  I truly hope that this changes this guys life.  I know that God's word never dies and will be put to good use in this.  I think that I will state why Jesus is God and then go into this packet.

God bless,
Kristen.

Kriten, I can feel your excitement. I am praying for you, remember greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Be confident that the Holy Spirit will bring to rememberance the things you should say.
GOD is good.

They didn't come :-\.  I wanted them really badly to be here.  Maybe they will remember and come Wednesday?  He said that that is his "witnessing" day.  If not, they come to our campus once in awhile and if I see him I'm have to invite him over.  I was all prepared and everything.

Hello Sister Kris,

If God means it to be, it WILL BE! Sister, please don't get upset if this doesn't work out. Your heart was willing, and you put forth effort to do God's work. If not this time, God will give you many opportunities in the future.

Sister, I just wish that all of God's children had the same desire in wanting to be used by God. If we all had the same attitude and effort, this world would be a brighter place.

Love in Christ,
Tom

Romans 5:1-2 NASB  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

I just happened to cross paths with this Jehovah's Witness again.  Why do I keep running into him?  Is it because I am supposed to talk to him? If so then could you please pray that God brings him back to visit to talk to me?  He said that he will come next Friday at 3:00.  I don't know if I should exspect him or not though.  I guess I could be ready.

I wonder why I keep running into him if I'm not going to have a good long conversation. Mwahahahahhaaa. ;D

Ok, in all seriousness I do think that God has got a plan in all this, it's just the suspense is killing me.  I keep telling God to turn me loose.  I sound like a mad bulldog. LOL :D

I'm a confused at what I should exspect.

Love in Christ,
Kristen

Hebrews 12:1-2  Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Have patience Kris. A garden gets planted just one seed at a time, just one step at a time and in the proper season. God knows which seeds will grow and provides for them in His time so that they will. Sometimes rushing things will have all that work destroyed. God knows what He is doing and will give you the amount of time and the words at the right time. Just keep trying as you have because even if these seeds don't grow you will be blessed by God for nurturing them.
