Title: poem/"THE WAY"
Post by: tomisaved1 on July 03, 2005, 09:05:53 PM
In this world of toil and pain that grief and sorrow share, when people buckle under strain and no one seems to care. I've found an answer to the woe that plagues the heart of man, there's one solution that I know yet fail to understand. Even logic fails to see, where reason has no place and carnal wisdom cannot leave a solitary trace. To come to know The One who made the heavens and the earth, I've found that I must wholly die, and death gives way to birth. And even when I thought I gave my everything to Him, I resurrect from carnal grave to take control again. Total trust and not one lie will stand the trials of faith, How I've learned through every mess when the ground has met my face. But yet I've fainted through trials error I slowly keep on dying, and ground is gained where Christ remains, and self must cease from trying. My heart knows well and agrees that self must surly die, and trust in God with all my heart, for everything else are lies. I've found the mood and frame of mind, to let my gifts express the things I see and hear within my heart; they do softly rest. The inspiration comes from dwelling on the truth I see, a beauty comes from a fountain spring, deep from inside of me. I think of God and what He's made to bless the heart of man, although most people are so afraid to take His loving hand. The pride and sin that battles the heart was defeated so long ago, but If they never take this step, I am afraid they'll never know. They'll never hear the precious song that the peace of Christ can give, and though they search their whole life long, they won't know how to live. Even those who find "THE WAY", and see His precious light, must give themselves to Him each day and must surly endure His light. Because nothing's easy although It's free to receive His salvation plan, for all along He cared for me, even when I continually ran.
