Hey everybody, ive been working at Universal and just heard some new country/almost christian inspired music. Its mostly country by this singer Josh Gracin. I went to joshgracin.com to listen to some of his stuff and it was really good an inspiring. I highly recommend checking out some of his music at that site.

I like Josh Grasin. He's pretty good. There are quite a few Country songs right now that are Christian inspired. I love it. I swore I'd never succumb to liking Country music and now I love it~Heheh. :)

Country music havin' a spiritual side.  Who'dathunk it?!   :D I personally love Randy Travis' 3 Wooden Crosses song.  I also like John Michael Montgomery's The Little Girl.  Then there's always Long Black Train by Josh Turner.  

Some real good stuff there.   :)

Did everyone know there such a thing as Christian Country Music?

I like some of the Bands from the 1970s.  Plus I really Like Keith Green still..

Yep. I like Three Wooden Crosses too. And tougher than nails is a good one.

Another good one (1996) is Charlie Daniels' "Steel Witness".
My favorite song on that CD is New Pharisees...

Don't quite understand Three Wooden Crosses...

A farmer and a teacher, a...um...unsavory woman and a preacher. They are on a bus, bound for Mexico. All but the hooker dies.
Now. The bus is struck by another vehicle.  Maybe one of the four is driving the oncoming vehicle - but no, they're all on the bus, bound for Mexico. Is one of them the bus driver? Were there passengers in the other vehicle? And yet there are three wooden crosses...why there's not four of them, heaven only knows...shouldn't there be at least six?  ???
The problem isn't over: was the hooker pregnant at the time with the boy who later becomes a preacher and tells this story?

Am I taking a good ol' song too far?

I thought it was because of the preacher's last words to her that she gave up her lifestyle to follow Christ and then became a mom and raised a godly son who became a preacher.

Yupyup.  Like it.  Like it too I do.

Yeah!  I always took it that there were 5 in the bus, the farmer, teacher, hooker, preacher and the driver, and then then truck driver makes six.  I always figured the farmer, teacher and preacher died and either the driver did too but nobody cared enough to put a cross there for him, or he lived and married the hooker who wasn't pregnant at the time, let alone saved, then the driver and former hooker get saved, have a child, who then grows up to be a preacher.  I figured the truck driver lived cause he had a big truck.  

Then again, I've been known to be overly analytical at times... ;D
