Title: Shrek 2
Post by: Allinall on May 27, 2004, 09:46:35 AM
Who's seen it?  Who laughed their spline to shriveled oblivian?  What was your favorite scene?  Mine was the rescue reminiscient of MI..."You are wearing women's underwear!  No I'm not!  Yes you are!  No I'm not!" ...nose growin' all along.  "It's a thong!"  I'm still laughin'!!!!  Hmmmm...are colons important?   ;D

It is a cute movie, I’ll say that. Of course, I preferred the first one more. Here is my question. If Donkey and Dragon are in love, and Donkey drank the potion, doesn’t that mean Dragon turned into something? I mean, that is the happily ever after look for a Dragon? ???

It was a good movie. Worth seeing.

I liked that the Gingerbread Man's legs were stitched back together with icing!  ;D

I loved it. Not as kid-friendly as the first one, as some of the jokes are just way over their heads, but a movie the more adult audience can enjoy.

His Messenger- *gasp!* What kind of movies have you been watching?! But I'm not saying Shrek 2 wasn't good. I loved it! But no good movies in the past 22 years?!?!

But again, I loved Shrek 2. I wanna see it again! It's funny, (okay, and a little pathetic,) because my sister and I have the script to Shrek almost completely memorized... :-[ ;D

That would have seriously offended me.

Then you're too offendable.

I guess I am seriously offendable too ???
where do I start? Allthough the movie was entertaining and amusing, I really dislike the pushing  of the Homosexual agenda!
Like the cross dressing bartender, the men on the street "checking out" the new improved shreck,
 yes the Thong
and at the end for the big finish
the guy "jumping" on Prince Charming.
Thats right folks just numb them into acceptance
maybe the movie will be so funny they won't care and the kids will be brainwashed nicely. >:(

Oh come on now!  How could Pinochio in a thong offend anyone?   ;D  Sorry that offends you.  Ya may not wanna watch this movie then.   :)

I think I remember that the first Shrek fell under the category of 'FRACTURED fairy tales'....  ;)

I saw that movie on the plane on they way up to Alaska, or the way back can't remember. . And yes, it was hilarious. At the time, I actually liked it more then the first Shrek. But I was told, but have yet to substantiate, that it was a very non-Christian movie (i.e.-the cross dressing bartender, thong, guys checkin' out the new shrek, stuff like that). I'm going to watch it again so as to see if it's something I wouldn't mind my son watching, and then I'll report back on what I think, but it's safe to say now that I wouldn't let my son see it as opinions stand.

These subtle little nuances may be so little and subtle so as not to bother you, but every little tyke in America and abroad will pick them up. These little sexual inuendos and sexual references are what help the Christian male population stay in bondage to sexual immorality. It has to be stopped folks!! So I personally, as of now until further viewing and re-analyzation(sp?), so no to Shrek 2.

Robert
