Title: JudgeNot's Surgery on 2-24 Post by: cris on February 23, 2004, 12:30:27 PM Haven't been on CU for a week as my computer has been flakey. I haven't forgotton JudgeNot during this time. His surgery is tomorrow. Let's all wish him well and send him off with our love and prayers. Whataya say guys-------------- Judge, May the Lord Jesus be with you. May He give you peace right now. Father, give wisdom to Judge's surgeon (s?) tomorrow. You, Lord God, be the hand of the surgeon. I ask you Father to heal Judge's heart so that he can serve You more. Let his healing be a testimony to you, Lord God. Thank You Father for hearing this prayer. Amen. Have been thinking 'bout ya everyday. Please, let us know how everything went as soon as you can. If everything goes "normally" I should only have to stay 24 to 48 hours - it pretty much depends on what they find once they get in and try to get the blood flowing. Worst scenerio - they will do an immediate bypass if things look really bad. Best scenerio - they can get some temporary blood flow and I can put off bypass for a while. Your prayers have been wonderful! You don’t know how much they mean – and guess what – THEY WORK! The good part – I’m home and comfortable – the bad part – they couldn’t do much for me. But I’m no worse off – woops, let me rephrase that – I’m just as good off as I was before I went in! The surgeon tried what he could but was afraid of perforating the closed artery, so left well enough alone. However he says that he sees no evidence of further deterioration and sees no reason for a bypass (for a while) which is WONDERFUL! Praise Jesus!! Hey Judge, I just about had a heart attack myself when I saw you were here. Didn't expect you back for 5 days or so. I am just so happy for you. Prayed for you and you have been on my mind ever since you said you were going in for surgery. Praying for ya every one of those times, too. Your Doc's diagnosis sounds pretty miraculous to me.
