Title: Once saved always saved
Post by: benny balerio on July 16, 2011, 04:15:51 PM
This here is to debate whether one is truely saved when they sincerely ask the Lord into their heart.
There is no doubt about it,..if one has sincerely asked the Lord into their heart...they are saved and cannot lose their salvation.
Those who do not agree to OSAS..will claim that we have free will to walk away from God and therefore would lose their salvation.
Sorry guys,...but God did not leave your salvation in your own hands to throw it all away once you have been sealed by the promise of the Holy Spirit unto the Day of redemption.

Yes, there is a substantial debate thread on this issue. Personally, I firmly believe in OSAS. I would be talking about truly Born-Again people, not just someone who sits in church or had an emotional experience. The Holy Spirit of God indwells truly saved people at the moment of Salvation, and no combination of powers can break the Seal of the Holy Spirit of God.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Jesus Christ Said:

John 10:28-30 KJV  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  30  I and my Father are one.
