What is Worldly?

When Christians can no longer define what is "worldly", when they cannot tell the difference between the holy and the profane, when they cannot discern between the natural and the spiritual, when entertainment is accepted as worship to a Holy God, when preachers give the people what they want rather than what they need, and when the Bible is no longer considered the final authority, we should know that the end-time deception has taken it's toll.

An expression used by Christians years ago said: "You're so heavenly minded , you're no earthly good " . Today it has changed to: "You're so earthly minded, you're no heavenly good".

"THEREFORE MY BELOVED BRETHREN, BE YE STEDFAST, UNMOVEABLE, ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD, FORASMUCH AS YE KNOW THAT YOUR LABOUR IS NOT IN VAIN IN THE LORD" (1 Cor 15:58 ). --Gordon Sears

"They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God..." "..that they set themselves apart...that they do not profane My holy name in what they devote to Me. I am Jehovah." "And they shall not profane the holy things...which they offer to Jehovah." (Lev 21:6a; 22:2,16)

"An astounding and horrible thing has happened in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so, and what will you do at the end of it?" (Jer 5:30-31)

"But they shall be his servants, so that they may know My service, and the service of the kings of the countries." (2 Chr 12:8 )

"And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you (2 Cor 6:16-17)
