Title: Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?
Post by: 2nd Timothy on February 09, 2004, 10:38:16 AM
Interesting idea.  Will hot topics be moved to this forum if they get too hot, or is this the place to put up your theological dukes, where one can float like a butterfly and preach like a bee  :-\ ?

The Hot kitchen...can you smell what the rock is cookin? lol

Grace and Peace!

Oklahoma Howdy to 2nd Timothy,

;D  Both. We are hoping this frees the rest of the board from heated debates that many users don't want to see or read.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to Sincereheart,

Sister, I'm thinking that theory was almost a complete and total failure. It's so sad that it's almost a comedy. It was my idea and ADMIN authorized it. In fact, ADMIN went to considerable effort to provide it. I'm thinking that I may deserve a public flogging for even having such an idea. Maybe the real answer was to just not have anything like that on Christians Unite. When dust settles on the current war, I'll pray about this and make another recommendation.

In the meantime, I'll report to the public flogging post. Bring the rotten eggs and tomotoes.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Yup! A terrible idea! You actually thought adults would act like.... well, adults!  ;)

No flogging here!  ;D

Seriously, maybe it's just a matter of learning as we go... :D

Oklahoma Howdy to SincereHeart,

Sister, maybe we could replace the Debate area with an opposite, maybe something like "Peace and Quiet". Maybe only a whisper would be allowed there. Capital letters wouldn't even be allowed.   :D  UM??, how about some soft and soothing Christian music playing in the background and weapons checked at the door.   :D

Love In Christ,
Tom
