Title: part of Davids story.
Post by: fcww on November 23, 2009, 04:41:57 AM
Shalom my name is David I was born in coventry England on the 10th november 1960 and I now live in middlesbrough in the north-east of England. I just turned 49. Well Im not outspoken and fairly reserved though I do on occasion confront subjects that most prefer to ignore. I entered the church about twelve and a half years ago which was a big shock to everyone especially me! God probably new I would`nt respond to a person offering me good news and eternal life - so He came himself. Its been a tricky and sometimes difficult journey (AND I REALISE I SPEAK FOR MOST) but there have been so many wonderful times and things that I prefer to dwell on those. I have been doing street evangelism for most of the last 8 years mostly in England, America and Israel but other countrys too. Currently Im going out day and night and seeing God do amazing things. I have seen the Lord do many signs, wonders and miracles and heal many. I have had prophetic dreams etc. Though all these things will come to anyone who puts the Lord first in their life.Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,....Now I concentrate on relationship and intimacy with Him. I got too caught up in things and I was losing sight of Him and I dont want that to happen again. I spent 5 years in the church of England and about 4 and a half years in a pentecostal church. I currently dont have a  church and I dont really want to go into that except to say Im not very welcome around here. I do though spend wonderful hours in His presence,in prayer and in His word, everyday and I love Him with all my heart, almost completely.I have just started a web site to see if it can assist me with the street work but its a bit to early to say yet www.freechurchwithoutwalls.com    Im only a novice in this and I always make mistakes but I try to learn from them and not repeat them. My dad Joe was Jewish and was killed in a freeway accident in north carolina in 1977 and I have two brothers in cleveland ohio, though they may be here with their mother by now. I also have other family in ohio-pleasant city area.Well my whole story is quite profound and long so I have just tried to cover some relevant things here-thanks for taking time to read this. God bless you all, shalom,David.

Hello David,

WELCOME!

I just came from your web site, and I recognize you quickly as a Brother in Christ. I sincerely appreciate what you're doing. We probably don't agree on everything, but we agree on more than enough to have beautiful fellowship in Christ. Yes, the time is late, and the time is short.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite, and I look forward to having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Brother David,

I truly do hope that hosts of people visit your web site. You are sharing what the world needs most - The Gospel of the Grace of God and Jesus Christ. I bookmarked your site and plan to go back and read some more when I get a chance.

I was think about some Scripture while reading at your site:

Isaiah 52:6-7 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Romans 10:14-15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Not one of us knows how many days or hours we have left in this short life. By far, the most important decision of this short life is either accepting or rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Everything else pales in comparison. This world is desperate for Jesus Christ. I give thanks that the Holy Spirit of God is still softening the hearts of hearers, and people around the world are still accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour before it's too late.

I have a firm belief in God's Promise that His Word will never return void. We might not see the results of our witnessing, but we can know that God is working and nothing is wasted.

Isaiah 55:6-13 KJV  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  7  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.  8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  9  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  10  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  12  For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.  13  Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 John 1:3 KJV  3  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
