This is not only effecting me physially but emotionally as well.
In advance i want to say thank yous for praying and for ya'll who have been praying .

Hey Tigerlily,

I know I've been caught up in my own problems, but I have a friend who has athritis too, and I know how hard she finds it, so my prayers are definitely with you.
I don't know whether they're worth anything, but I will certainly pray for you - she finds it incredibly hard to do anything at all, and finds it hard because athritis is known as an "old person's" disease, when it isn't really.
Anyway, I'm praying for you, and I'm sure everyone else is here too, anything is possible :)
Emma

Oklahoma Howdy to Tigerlily,

My sister in Christ, you already know that I pray for you every day.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We give thanks for the fellowship that you allow with our sister in Christ. We ask that you give her doctors skill in providing the best medications and treatments. We pray that you give her peace, strength, and relief from her pain to care for her family and serve You. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today is two months later now.  Two days ago Tigerlily said she might be trying a seven day cleansing diet, and was asking for prayer in staying the course...

We also pray for tigerlily in her healing and her relief from pain...

Thank you,

In Jesus' Name...

Tigerlily, I'm pulling for you, too. I'm so sorry you're not feeling well and I will keep praying. Did the doctors say anything about what kind of arthritis you have? Sometimes there is new research, or new meds that are available that haven't been approved by the FDA because they're too new. Anyway, I'd be happy to look into it and see if there's anything new happening that could relieve your burden. I'm so sorry you have to suffer this way. I wish I knew how to help. But I will definitely keep lifting you in prayer.

Tigerlily, have you tried apitherapy? It uses bee venom and is reported to be very effective in treating a wide range of conditions, including athritis. If you haven't tried, it, it may be able to help you. There are many web pages on the topic, so I just selected this one because there are links on it. Maybe you have a practitioner near you or they can help you find one. Blessings to you. *hug*

http://www.apitherapy.org/aapsfaq.htm

This is their info page, but you can get more from their home page, like links and other info. We're praying for you.

tigerlily,
I don't know how your arthritis is doing now, but I wanted to remind you every day to praise God, to sing praises and to keep yourself in a possative frame of mind and keep your eyes on him. It is written that Jesus is our great healer and when he rose he sent the Holy spirit down upon us giving us even more power than he had here while on earth. He rose the dead and gave site to the blind and heal the sick. I have a friend , Ricky Claunch who has himself very submitted to the lord and prays for people and I have seen alot of people healed when they call and pray together with him?I've seen cancer healed , hepatitis C healed. For now I'll pray for you . With the authority of Jesus I command all sickness to leave her body I pray the blood of Jesus over her arthritis and her pain. Fill her spirit lord with you and take out anything that is not of you in Jesus name we pray.

Hi ya'll, im so sorry i havent checked in in awhile but please know that even if i disappear for long periods at a time its such a blessing to know that i have people that arent forgetting to pray for me.,  and yes sadly as symphony has said things seem to be getting worse but im trying very hard to not give up and to keep my faith up, i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is in the healing buisiness.. and i know he can, i guess i also know that there are times that God allows pwoplw to go thru things and that at times its Gods will for  people to go thru things, but i also know that if this be the will of God for me to deal with this, then He must have a bigger purpose behind it all, so i wont ever give up on being healed in His time,., again i so very much appreciate your prayers and faithfulness in them..i have good days and i have bad days and i have imobilised on the couch days so i dont get here much but i will be here when i can be, ..
with love and prayers and appreciation... TL

Tigerlily, I stand in accord with prayers for you.
My late Mum had arthritis badly.  This debilitating disease is cruel. And, my heart goes out to you.  In the end, she took celery capsules which seemed to help her.  It was osteo arthritis.
I pray deeply and sincerely that Father will touch you and give you the healthy normal life you deserve. In The Name of Jesus. Amen.

Have some new beta that may or may not be helpful. I have a friend who is suffering as well and she pointed this source that may be worth checking into. The book is called the yeast connection cookbook, written by a doctor and a nurse. (William G. Crook and Marjorie Hurt Jones) The reason I wondered if it might be helpful is because we have a very specialized system of medicine these days, which means the connections between seemingly unrelated illnesses get overlooked.

According to this book, there are certain illnesses that are often caused by unacceptable levels of yeast. (Apparently this yeast can be stored in the intestines, stomach, or other places.) If any of the following is true for you, yeast may be something to rule out as a cause for your sickness. Just a stab in the dark, but if you haven't checked for it, it might be a good idea.

If 6 or more of the following is true for you, there may be a yeast problem: you've been on repeated or prolonged antibiotics, especially those that are broad-spectrum.  Pain in joints, bones, or muscles. If you're bothered by frequent urinary or yeast infections. If you feel worse on damp days or in musty or moldy places. Repeated cortisone, Decadron, or prednisone. This includes nebulizers. If you have fatigue problems. Depressed. Headaches or memory loss. Digestive problems including gas, diharea, constipation, etc. Hormonal problems including sugar cravings, low body temperature, infertility, pms, menstrual irregularities, etc. Rashes, hives, psoriasis, etc. Skin that is unusually dry, itchy, or tingly. Senitive to certain odors, perfumes, or fabric store odors. If you're on birth control pills and they provoked symptoms.

These can also cause problems in men.

Problems that can result in women and men from excess of yeast:

Besides digestive problems (as one would expect): allergies, asthma, PMS and menstrual disorders, multiple sclerosis,Crohn's disease, mitral valve prolapse, hyperactivity, learning disorders and autism. The problem comes when the killing of bacteria, all kinds, good and bad, allows yeast to thrive. The yeast releases metabolic waste toxins which are delivered to various parts of the body.

Research done in Japan, and at Cornell University, have found these toxins can harm the immune system, setting the individual up for many other types of diseases.

Having these diseases does not mean it stems from yeast. But if you are in chronic pain and have not pinpointed the source of the problem, this may be an important thing to rule out.

Best wishes.

Thank you, Willow burch.

Wow, thanks Whitehorse.  I hope tiger can see this.

That's an interesting rundown.  Would make sense.  'Matter of fact, about a year ago, when tiger first begin asking for prayer, she said the doctors had dianosed Chron's.  Come January, they completely changed that--said they'd misdiagnosed(that was my understanding from Tiger).

Yes, prolonged antibiotics really wear down the  body's immunity, I understand...

So, anyway, how would you get unacceptable levels of yeast in your body to diminish??

Title: Re:find myself in real need of prayer
Post by: Whitehorse on October 25, 2003, 06:34:55 PM
The way to cure the yeast problem is to go on a yeast cleanse. This diet is not a fun diet, but it is more fun than suffering. My best buddy has Crohn's, too, and is doing much better under this diet. It is a high protein diet; no sugar (including fruit and fruit juice), caffeine, or carbonated drinks. Mostly vegetables and low-fat meats in moderate amounts, especially good if cooked in olive oil and garlic, since these are enemies of yeast. Low carbohydrates. Also very important: get tested for food allergies-a major contributor to yeast problems and Crohn's. Food allergies can be caused by eating too much of the same food, too often over an extended period od time. Best to rotate and get a lot of variety. Avoid nuts until you pass an allergy test, including food and molds, everything. Nuts have lots of nutrition but they also carry molds. If you buy them, store them in the refrigerator or freezer until use; may also add to stir-fry to kill the molds. No milk- am major yeast contributor. No bread-it contains yeast. Even the bread that doesn't contains carbs which turn to sugars which promote yeast growth. Eggs good once or twice a week; better than egg beaters which do not have the same nutritional benefits. When you're finished with the cleanse (3 months), rotate carbohydrates. Eat a large variety of grains, if you are not allergic. Big troublemakers to avoid: pastries, crackers, pretzels, pizza, plus anything fermented, as these all contain yeast. This includes anything made with vinegar, salad dressings, tomato sauce, soy sauce, miso, mincemeat, horseradish, olives, pickles, salad peppers, and dried fruits are very bad as well-they contain loads of yeast. Here is a list of things yeast hates:

Acidophillous (in yogurt, but you'd have to eat the plain since sugar is not allowed, or just take the capsules. Store them in your refrigerator.) Important: this is a homeopathic medicine, so don't touch the capsules, because this will impact its effectiveness. Pour them into the cap and transfer the capsules from the cap to your mouth.

B12

B6

Biotin

Garlic

Olive Oil

Gentian

Potassium

Vitamin C

Vitamin A

Vitamin E

Evening Primrose.

Very important: stay hydrated.

Holistic medicine is very strong in that it recognizes the connection between diseases that are separated by specialized medicine. If you have a prolapsed valve, they don't check your yeast levels. Have a doctor test levels.

I hope this helps. Blessings.
