You thought when I departed
That life for me did end.
But I now live Heaven
And love to you I send.

I know that you still miss me
As you often shed a tear,
But I am always with you
Unseen, but I am near.

I’m now your guardian angel
And I watch over you.
I’m following in your footsteps
As each step you take anew.

I’d like you to be happy
And on your face a smile,
Like the one that I remember
When you held me for a while.

Sometimes you’ll feel my presence
In the stillness of the night.
Then I know you’ll understand
That everything’s all right.

Dispel your pain with happiness
And feel no guilt or shame,
For I hear that loving whisper
When you softly say my name.

One day we’ll be together
Never more to part,
When you join this heavenly family
A bright new life will start.
