         HEAVENLY  FATHER


                        Heavenly  Father, you’re  my  dad             
             Even  though  I  drive  You  mad
             Can’t  imagine  what  You  see
             In  a  rebel, such  as  me
             One  who  spends  his  time  away
             Having  worldly  games  to  play   
             Visit  You  when  I  feel  led
             Upon  my  rising, late  in  bed
             In  between  I  concentrate
             On  whatever’s  on  my  plate
             Contact  You  when  things  turn  bad
             Not  a  very  loving  lad
             Please  be  patient, I  can  see
            The  need  to  get  up  close  to  thee
             May  I  offer  all  I’ve  got
             Everything  that  is  my  lot.
