Title: A Perfect Television Channel
Post by: nChrist on May 27, 2008, 11:11:30 PM
YES - I found a perfect television channel.

There is nothing improper about it at all, but I don't know what channel it is.

The screen is blank, and there are no lights on the front of the television. Did I tell you there wasn't any sound either? My wife likes the channel also and commented that it would save us money on our electric bill.

I could be wrong, but I think that the name of the channel is:

OFF

I'm getting that same channel here.  :D :D

I got tired of spending a whole lot of money on garbage. My food allotment just got a whole lot bigger, too.

I have a habit of falling asleep in the middle of my movies. Not because of boredom, but being tired. Course the movies I watch are very well made movies. That would be good movies for any Christian.

I've been tired ready to help open another Church, 30 miles away from me. The Pastor in Springerville, and myself will be opening it in the next 2 weeks. We will be taking turn giving sermons. The distance is about the same for both of us. Thats why I haven't been on much lately.

Brother Bob,

I'll be praying for the new ministry. I remember my dad talking many times about smaller towns and rural communities needing church services. This is one reason why he started out as a circuit preacher and did that many years when he was young and strong. Just please try to take care of yourself and get some rest from time to time.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Yep!  I haven't missed it at all.  Haven't watched TV since March 1st.  I think when I get my place next month, I won't even hook up the cable.  If I want to watch a movie, I can also go rent one worth watching.  Then I'll be back to my old "dial-up" for the computer too and of course I can always get on at work. (Like right now!) (http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x125/luvmarley_bucket/cid_006701c66bbe0d2562b00900a8c0Dis.gif)

Hello GrammyLuv and All,

One of the kids got my wife a DVD player and a membership to some sort of DVD rental club. She can get all she wants - send them back - and get some more. She mainly gets the very old movies and programs. She doesn't get any of the bad stuff, and the catalog of good, clean, and old entertainment is huge. I just wanted to make the point that there are alternatives to dirty programming, and I think the cost on this for a year is less than what one would spend for a month of cable. I was just thinking that this club doesn't offer the dirty stuff anyway.
