Title: Reincarnation on the Oprah Show Post by: teekii on May 15, 2008, 12:06:28 AM Just wondering if anyone caught the Oprah show on Tuesday May 13th,2008. She was discussing people being reincarnated. Of coarse, she believes in it like she believes in this new age teaching by a man name Eakart Tolle. Just wondering what the rest of my brothers and sisters think about the subject? I personally try to stay clear of any teaching contrary to the word of God.

The Bible clearly tells us that we are not "reincarnated". We will be given glorified bodies at Christ's return but we will not be reincarnated.
Oprah and many like her are well known to say those things that serve to fulfill scriptures, teaching to those with itchy ears. You know I actually heard her say ,that there couldn't possibly be only one way to God and that you, yourself are the light! not Jesus,but yourself .Oh get this ,she also said that there is no sin and that your salvation comes from within. Had to say I was really surprised and disappointed to hear this out of her ,thought she had way more sense than that. Unfortunately,she has a lot of influence on a lot of people. I pray that she is not purposely misleading people,as she still says she is a Christian. Just goes to show you of how aware of the times we should be. Wonder how many Christians believe in reincarnation now just because she endorsed it.
