I've also had higher speeds now for over a year. Mine is wireless from transmission towers. I'm sure that it isn't the fastest, but it's much faster than what I had, and I can afford it. There are other options now opening up in my area, and I might be going even faster soon. I think that mine would be about half as fast as most high speed connections, but it's still 10 or more times faster than what I had with dial-up for so many years.
