Folks just needing a little prayer of calmness.  Short story

Back in April of last year the company I was working for was purchased by a company out in California.  We felt pretty well strung along for the ride and the writing was on the wall that we would be closing up shop some time or another.

Well now today we find out the company that purchased us has been bought by EADS which is like one of the largest military and defense contractors there is (which is sad since it is actually a French company). 

EADS does not do any work in the 911 industry so not certain on this acquisition if it is to strip some things out of the company that they can use or to venture into the 911 industry....

Either way it puts little ole Huntsville further down on the totem pole of viable operations....

I mean you never know what is going to happen and God has me taken care of...He knew what was going to happen when He put me here....but just some prayers of peace...I trust God completely in it...just needing the peace of mind :)

Well we finally got the word yesterday.  June 28th is the last day of my employment here.

Do you have any other prospects yet?

Still looking.  Stepping up the efforts from when I was not certain.

Just an update

I went into for an interview last week at a place.  I talked with them yesterday and a few figures were put out there.  I should be receiving an offer letter as long as the figures get approved. 

I also have another interview with a different place today at 2pm.  So may I can get two different offers on the table at once :)

Thanks for the update, brother. I'll continue keeping you in prayer in this matter.

Updates!!!

I have sent my acceptance of the offer letter over to them.  They have called to confirm they got it.

Next HR will be contacting me to setup a start date.

So I can say that once I start I will not be lurking around here for a little bit during the day.  So you all may not see me as much.  I will try and log in more during the evenings...at least until I get comfy where I am at and can crank up the browser for some quality CU time :)
