Title: Bread made in the bible
Post by: allofmetessera on January 21, 2008, 02:22:28 PM
I once saw a recipe for making bread in the bible.  I think it was in the old testament.  Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks :)

Hi Teresa,

Welcome to Christians Unite forums.

I think that you may be referring to what is commonly called to as Ezekiel Bread. It doesn't give any measurements but it does list all of the ingredients that are supposed to be in it.

Eze 4:9  Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
