THE ACLU IS WAGING A WAR ON CHRISTIANITY!
SUPPORT THE TAKE ACTION NETWORK TODAY
IN THE WAR AGAINST CHRISTIANITY.

We must stop those who are trying to strip away the Christian morals of our American society.

Our right to religious freedom, free speech, and freedom of association are under attack in America!

Organized anti-religious groups like the American Civil Liberties Union are determined to silence Christians and to strip us of our God-given rights to freely express our Christian beliefs.

Read the following article from WorldNetDaily just to see what the ACLU has done to PROMOTE WITCHCRAFT while at the same time continually filing lawsuits to remove any vestige of Christianity from public display.

In recent years, the ACLU has also been engaged in many lawsuits against any expression of our Christian belief, below are a few:

In early October 2003, the ACLU in Connecticut filed a lawsuit against the United States Postal Service complaining that a postal unit in Manchester is "replete with Christian religious symbols, messages, and images." The ACLU wants any religious messages removed from the post office.

The ACLU in Colorado filed a lawsuit in August 2003 to stop public school teachers and students from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance each day.

The ACLU in Louisiana sued the governor's abstinence office in 2002 over "religious" content of the abstinence program.

And, the ACLU has filed multiple lawsuits around the U.S. to ban the display of the Ten Commandments on public property.
If you're sick and tired of the ACLU attacking your freedom of speech and religion, we invite you to support our TAKE ACTION NETWORK!

Judge: Witches can pray at county meeting
ACLU hails federal decision as victory for non-majority religions

Witches, or practitioners of the Wicca religion, can pray at a county's board meeting, a federal judge ruled.

Officials in Chesterfield County, Virginia, discriminated against Cyndi Simpson, a Wiccan, when they barred her from being on a list of clergy who can open the board of supervisors meetings with prayer, said U.S. District Court Judge Dennis W. Dohnal, according to the Chesterfield Progress-Index newspaper.

The lawsuit was filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia and Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

Wicca is regarded as a natural religion, "grounded in the earth." Followers of its many different forms generally believe all living things, as well as stars, planets, and rocks, have a spirit.

In a letter of explanation to Simpson, County Attorney Steven L. Micas said, "Chesterfield's nonsectarian invocations are traditionally made to a divinity that is consistent with the Judeo-Christian tradition," the paper reported.

But the judge ruled the board violated Simpson's constitutional right of equal and free expression of her religious beliefs.

Meanwhile, Dohnal argued, Christians are allowed to express their religious beliefs by delivering the "legislative prayer" allowed by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Expressing delight with the outcome, Simpson, 47, said she believed the decision would bring credibility to witchcraft as a religion, the paper reported.

The ruling was a victory for non-majority religions, said Kent Willis, executive director of the ACLU.

It demonstrated why church and state should remain separate institutions, he contended.

"As the framers of the Constitution understood from their own experiences, when the state uses its vast power to endorse religious activity, it will always make losers of some faiths and winners of others," said Willis, according to the Chesterfield daily. "That jeopardizes religious freedom."

Amazing, isn't it, how they want separation of church and state...so much so, that they are citing discrimination against other "religions" inability to practice what they're attempting to stop.  How far have we to go before this country either begins persacuting believers, or God Almighty judges?  Personally, I'm pushing for the Godly judgment.  It would be wonderful if it was done in such a fashion that it could not be relegated to some other source.  It's incredible how when the 911 tragedy happened, that people everywhere, who didn't normally acknowledge God, went looking for Him.  Many wondered why He had either done it, or allowed it, who rarely ever attributed anything to His sovereignty.  Yup.  Judge.  We're due.

why would one want to stop that of which is inevitable ?
the fall of the US and all....

What do you want to do ? Protest ? Years and years of protest only delayed the process (a bit)

I could protest all day over here; but God has it under control.
He is the author and finisher of our faith; and of the rest of the world of that matter.....

Oklahoma Howdy to Brother Love,

I appreciate the information Brother.

The devil is really busy these days, and the ACLU appears to be one of the devil's most willing servants. I can't remember the last time I heard about the ACLU being involved in anything good or moral. In fact, it may never have engaged in such activity.

In Christ,
Tom

Something you all have to understand is, America is an extremely litigious society. If you look at Europe, it's not like this. It's much harder to start a business here. Of course we are capitalists, and this makes our society geared this way. More socialist are not as much so.

But we don't really have separation of church and state anyway. And the way our law system works is, when someone brings up something, then it is changed. Like how I can't be president because I wasn't born in the United States. I'm sure if there were a supreme court ruling on that today, it would be changed. After all, I lived here since I was 2 years old, so there is no reason i'm much different than anyone else. Then it would be discrimination against nation of origin.

But i stray...

The question is, how would you feel if people posted muslim beliefs somewhere in a public building? Or even Satanist beliefs in the public building? Or Islamic fundamentalists? Wouldn't you be offended?

We can't allow that to happen, naturally we have to give up something to gain a whole lot more. People of other religions, who have dedicated their lives to totally different belief systems will find the 10 commandments as blasphemy and will be offended. To allow us to have the 10 commandments on a government building would be to allow other religions to put theirs on government buildings.

What do you guys think? I for one do not want to see Satanic Rituals carved on our government building.

Oklahoma Howdy to Jesussavedusall,

I, for one, am not interested in pleasing the the other religions of the world, nor am I interested in being politically correct regarding my thoughts of them. When you come to a Christian Nation like America, you should expect to see the articles of Christian Faith on our public buildings. Nearly all of the public buildings do or did have references to God, Christ, and articles of our faith in Almighty God. The same is true of our founding documents, both State and Federal.

If you wish to do the same with Buddha, go to Tibet. I say that we give up nothing. I won't be going to Tibet anytime soon and asking or demanding that they tear down their shrines to Buddha. I, as an individual, will not cater to the world's religions, and I certainly won't cater to satan. I would have the very simple "Love It Or Leave It' mentality.

In Christ,
Tom

But Blackeyedpeas, America is a melting pot of cultures, why be so insensitive? You said yourself that other nations promote other religions. I don't know if I would like to be discriminated against in Taiwan. After all freedom is what America is all about isn't it?

Also, you know how our legal system works, if they start allowing us to put these things in buildings, it will open up the door for other religions to do the same, then there will be all sorts of blasphemy all over the place. Don't you think not having in put in public buildings is better than having all sorts of junk?

And here we come to the crux of the situation - there is America, and there is Christ.  As an American, I accept diverse cultures, and peoples into my country.  As an American, I guarantee there right to worship the god of their choice.  As an American, your race, color, religion, sex, or culture do not negate our relationship as countrymen.  As a Christian, I do not accept other gods or religions as options I can freely close my eyes to.  Do I go around and yell/preach at them for their sinful choices?  No!  Rather, I do not take the diversity concept into my relationship with Christ.  He alone is the way.  This is in and of itself offensive!  Diversity tells us to accept them.  Does God accept them?  As a Christian I accept the peoples, cultures, and genders of all of my brothers and sisters in Christ.  I do not accept tenants that go against what Christ has said.  I do not accept removing God from our culture so as not to offend those who do not revere Him as God.

Does this make sense?

That makes perfect sense. But another thing is do you guys agree with the second part of my post? I mean if a court rules in favor of letting us keep our stuff in public buildings, then they would have to let it slide for all other religions?

Theoretically, yes. But, this isn’t a prefect world there theory is fact. Muslim countries are always going to keep Muslim artifacts, because they are Muslim countries. And Good luck getting Shintoism out of Japan. They have a joke in China about how they brought Communism over thinking it would change Buddhism, but as it turned out, Buddhism changing Communism. You can take the dog out of the fight, but you can’t take the fight out of the dog. Culture is one of the strongest forces. It controls the mind and thoughts of the people of this county. It controls their way of thinking, their actions, who they are. Culture is strong, and ours is a Christian Culture.

Ours is not only a christian culture. Our government listens to the small. With discrimination law suits on the rise, you never know what will happen.

Yes, but our country was founded as a Christian nation in worshipping of God, not Allah, or Buddah, or Satan.  God alone.  As Tibby pointed out, cultures define often times the religions they follow.  Ours once was defined by Christianity.  Unbelievers would not open there businesses on Sunday in reverence to a God they neither knew nor served.  Why?  Because that was the basis of our country.  Now we have people coming along attempting to teach us that we never were a Christian country, and that this is all wrong.

As for letting the other religions post there teachings...I'm going out on a limb here, and hopefully not alone.   :)  But I say no.  This was a Christ centered nation, founded in the spirit of serving God Almighty - not Allah, or some other proposed god.  If we are to be truly a Christian nation, we must draw a line in the sand.  Not to be judgmental, or to be persacuting other beliefs, but to be true to the God in Whom we trust.  But that's just me...

Oklahoma Howdy to Brother Allinall,

I agree completely, or as A4C would say "DITTO!". America is a Christian Nation. I don't think you are going out on a limb at all, rather you stated the simple and plain truth.

In Christ,
Tom

On the U.S.A. being a Christian nation I would say not any more. It started that way, but in the last 55 years the army of darkness has such inroads that many of the founding fathers wouldn't reconnise it, or understand why we let, or how it got this way.

Yes many do if you ask just about any person most will say that they beleive in GOD, but most don't understand being saved means or even how to be saved, what they have are a head knowledge, not hart knowledge. Even Satsn and his demons beleive.

Something else to think about is, basically every religion is pretty much tolerant of other religions, and accept that each belief has its road to God.  Only Christianity claims to have the ONLY road to the father.  It wont be long before these other religions claim that our churches are discriminating against individuals and their faith.....after all, they don't discriminate against us?

Grace and Love!

I guess I shouldn't say they don't....my point was, that in the worlds view, it will become the world against us faithful christians who are unaccepting of them.

Resting with the Lord.
