 Iran, Syria discuss expansion of mutual relations
Damascus, Aug 9, IRNA

Iran-Syria-Relations
Vice-President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Ahmad Mousavi conferred on Thursday with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem on expansion of mutual relations as well as the latest regional developments.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on current developments in Lebanon and Palestine and underlined the need to restore tranquility to Iraq.

Iran's vice-president for legal and parliamentary affairs heading a delegation arrived in Syria Wednesday night and is to leave the country for Beirut on Thursday.
