Uriah Heep was the last Rock Concert I went in my B.C. days. The Lead singer also became a believer. And yes I still listen to a few songs by Uriah Heep. I know, I know..And I don't mean buy into the blood spitting theatrics or anything like that, but just the urge to hear something LOUD.
Don't get me wrong - my music of choice is Christian and as far as I'm concerned give me some good Petra, Keith Green, Rez, or Degarmo & Key most any day. I also listen to anything from Bluegrass to Classical except for rap, but just every now and then I'll get "I Was Made for Loving You" or "Rock and Roll All Nite", or "Dance the Night Away" in my head. As I said, I'll probably regret that post -but don't completely expel me! I don't post that often and most of them don't generate responses anyway! Petra, Keith Green, Rez and Degarmo & Key, I love them all. I was at Keith Greens Last Days Ministries in Texas. I have all of Rez Bands Albums & tapes plus a lot of videos. I have some videos and tapes by Degarmo & Key. I love Steve Camp and a real hard rock Christian Band STRYPER, I went to a few of their concerts. I saw them on the "Soldier's Under Command" tour and Michael Sweet's newest , "Truth", is excellent! I met Michael Sweet at a Family Bookstore for a CD signing on his first solo cd. He seems like a nice guy. I've seen Petra 5 times, including John Schlitt's first concert with them in Evansville Indiana on the first night of the "Back To The Street" tour. The REZ "Hostage" album was so well played that my cassette tape broke! As a matter of fact I pretty much liked all that you mentioned. Rock on indeed! Title: Re:Anyone Like Uriah Heap? A friend of mine received the album as a gift but took the insert and turned it bakwards because the demon was creepy. I never listened to the music that I can remember, but when I hear that name, the cover is etched in my mind. Ew!

That weird dragon on the first album cover was pretty cool. I drew it on my wall in black light paint. That shows you where I was at when I was about 18 years old. :D
