Majlis Speaker: Cooperation among Islamic countries deter aliens to interfere in region
Tehran, July 2, IRNA

Iran-Oman-Cooperation
Majlis Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel said on Monday that close cooperation between Islamic countries would deter alien powers to interfere in regional developments.

According to Majlis Public Relations Department, he made the remarks in his meeting with Omani Ambassador to Tehran Yahya bin Abdullah Al Feneh al-arimi.

Creating brotherly ties with the world Muslim and neighboring countries are among Iran's top priorities, he said.

Expressing satisfaction with the expansion of brotherly ties between the two countries, he said the two sides' relations in terms of friendly cooperation is a model for other countries.

The two sides' high ranking officials are determined to broaden mutual, regional and international cooperation, Haddad said.

He urged the two sides to take advantage of existing opportunity and further broaden bilateral cooperation mainly in the economic sector.

Referring to regional developments as well as those of world Muslims in recent years, he said US interference in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan and Lebanon would make the situation much more exacerbated.

The Omani ambassador, for his part, highlighted developing ties between Iran and Oman at political, cultural, parliamentary and security fields and said the two sides' high ranking officials are determined to broaden amicable ties.

Countries like Iran and Oman are among the real owners of the region and the alien forces would finally leave the region, he said.

Alien powers stir sedition and chaos but close cooperation among countries in the region could thwart their plots, he said.
