Title: WHAT GOES WRONG?
Post by: funtainventures on May 28, 2007, 10:44:10 AM
Our religion tells us of our coming Saviour who died and rose the third day. After His words of assurance of coming back, He promised us a prepared home. Unbelievably today, Christians seem to be so occupied with accumulation of wealth (prosperity almost becoming their only testimony of answered prayer and care of God). They are building edifice that will soon be consumed by fire while the soul they ought to care for lacks attention and care of the shepherds. Who will take us serious that there is an impending callamity, an END to this tragic movie called earth. What goes wrong?

What goes wrong?

Many times people fail to build on the rock and instead build on the shifting sands. This failure to build on the right foundation comes from not receiving the good seed into the good ground.

Mat 7 : 24 - 27

Mat 13 : 19 - 23

Hello Funtainventures,

The end of this Age of Grace is horrible - except for Christians. It's a real shame that the lost consider Bible Prophecy to be fairy tales. If they took any of it seriously, they would want to pay close attention to the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL OF GOD'S GRACE.

JESUS CHRIST is our rescue and Salvation from many miseries and a dark pit of eternal punishment. Many lost people have heard about what we know JESUS rescued us from, but they don't believe it. There are many who say that they just won't believe it until scientific proof is shown to them. It's very sad that unquestioned proof will be presented one day, but it will be too late.

You are right that the earth will be destroyed, but it will be renewed by GOD. In terms of building things, nothing will ever change. The only foundations that will last are those built on JESUS CHRIST. As Christians, we would be better off in a tent with a foundation of JESUS CHRIST instead of a penthouse with a foundation of the world. As Christians, JESUS CHRIST is much of everything we need, and GOD will provide everything else. Riches and finery will all be burned up. The real riches are SPIRITUAL and they will survive forever in JESUS.

If these are the end days of this Age of Grace, the entire world will see RIGHTEOUS WRATH, but many will doubt or question the source. Most of the world will be deceived until they see JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF pouring out HIS HOLY, RIGHTEOUS WRATH on evil. Then they will finally understand and know that Christians were telling them the truth, but it will be too late. The devil and evil will get the rewards of their labor, and it will be for eternity. It really wouldn't matter if they could take their riches and finery with them because it would just be burned up.

As Christians, I would hope that all of us know that anything done in our lives that wasn't done solely for the honor and Glory of GOD will also be burned up. All of our riches are stored in one place - in heavenly places in CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST alone will judge the works of Christians as good or bad, and rewards will be for eternity. Many Christians will suffer loss of rewards, and some will have very few - if any. It won't matter whether we were rich or poor in this short life, rather what we lovingly did for GOD with whatever HE gave us. Some of the poorest Christians in this short life have the greatest rewards for ETERNITY waiting for them. There won't be any politics or manipulation of others in Heaven, just an All-Seeing and All-Knowing GOD. Not a second of our lives will be hidden from GOD.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Proverbs 3:19-20 NASB  The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens.  By His knowledge the deeps were broken up And the skies drip with dew.

Can we say..

Colossians 1:29 NASB  For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.

Romans 12:1-2 NASB  Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
