I haven't been feeling well for quite a while, as many of you know. Every time I tried to updat my web site I kept getting freezes, or had to wait a long while in between settings. My wife surprised me with a brand new computer yesterday! It's a beauty! It's a Cicero with 2gig memory and 160mb hard drive! I have a 17" Multisync 1740CX flat screen LCD monitor as well! Yes, she loves me! I don't have a clue why, but it must be true! This machine is mega super fast! I'm going to have to redo my entire web site now! ;) John Title: Re: Wife Bought Me A New Computer! Brother John, that isn't just a Cadillac - it's an Indy 500 Racer. WOW! It's great to hear from you, and wonderful news about your new computer. That thing might be so fast that it would compute before you hit the keyboard. ;D You will also enjoy that monitor. The Multisync monitor is famous for best quality graphics - good enough to do any type of graphic work you can think of. I was just laughing and thinking about my first computer. It had a huge amount of memory - 48k. That memory was in 16k slots, and the 16k memory card was about 5 inches wide, 6 inches tall, and about 3/4 inch deep for each card. :D YES!, your wife loves you, and we love you too. That's funny! Our first one was the top of the line for personal home use, at the time we bought it. We paid over 2,000 for it...what a piece! :D I need a tow motor to move the monitor! It really is nice to have a face to think about with so many beautiful messages that we've shared back and forth. I want to share something I was just thinking about that involved a recent conversation in my family. We know that GOD sees the heart. We can't see the heart, but maybe we can feel the heart and have many correct ideas about another person's heart, even if we've never seen them before. YES, I think that GOD lets us have feelings about another person's heart, even through messages on a forum. Our outward appearance is like a temporary tent that we use in this short life. All of the qualities and real beauty of a person is in the heart, not in the tent that we use. I know there are beautiful things that can be expressed - like a smile, but the real beauty for Christians is JESUS inside us. Our tents of corruption will be changed into glorified bodies of incorruption one day by GOD, and this is a truly beautiful thing to think about. For eternity, our outward appearance of our glorified bodies will be like the body of JESUS. My thoughts are that our outward appearance will then display the beauty of the inside that was filled with JESUS. I probably didn't put this very well, so just please try to visualize what I said. In looking at your pictures, GOD gave all of you beautiful tents to use for a time, but your hearts are much more beautiful.
