Title: Renewed and proud. Post by: LiLJesusFreak on February 01, 2006, 04:27:15 PM Well I been a member of this site before but just recently my old name no longer works so I made a new registration. Anyway I never really talked about myself in this place, so I'm going to take a short time to do that now. Well I became a born again Christian on 10/31/02, I have quit a long testimony, most parts of it I still struggle in dealing w/, my parents divorced back then and things all of a sudden took a dramatic turn in my life. What I thought was a perfect family has been shattered in front of my eyes. Now Im learning to "circle the spiritual waggons" around those most painful parts of my memory of my dad and abuse that I endured and saw on my mother as well. To escape that world I started to develope a strong passion for writing and music, while before I was a believer I took those gifts of poetry/song that God has given me to escape a world of mind-boggling slavery for granted. Now I use them to worship and praise God. My most heavyest passion is in music, I sing on my churches worship team and play guitar, pianno, and a bit of drums. Im not even thinking of quiting here, I want to persue my passion in music to something more than what Im doing now. Maybe make a cd or something. I also write poetry for the glory of God now as well, my whole peotry book has become my life testimony and is not stopping yet either, I hope to continue to praise God through this gift that He's given me. Anyway, I gotta get goin now.

Title: Re: Renewed and proud. Post by: nChrist on February 01, 2006, 11:05:26 PM Hello LiLJesusFreak,
WELCOME BACK!! (http://www.sirinet.net/~blkidps/welcome.gif) I'm happy to hear about all of the positive things that God is doing in your life. I'm looking forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you. Love In Christ, Tom Philippians 1:21-22 NASB For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. |
