When we sinned against Him, abused and killed Him, He did not take revenge; on the contrary, He sacrificed His life for us, so that our sins against Him would be forgiven and we may have eternal life.
Are we true followers of Jesus, if our forgiveness is not similar to that of God’s? Title: Re: Are we true followers? Unless one understands what the Bible defines as sin....how can we know when we are unfaithful to Jesus ?Are we true followers of Jesus, if our forgiveness is not similar to that of God’s? Lu.17:3-4 So watch yourselves."If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4 If he sins against you seven times a day , and seven times comes back to you and says, "I repent, forgive him." Thats what Jesus does. :) Isn't God great! Why ? Because God (Christ) said to remember the sabbath day, to keep it Holy (Exodus 20:8-11). Jesus did this Himself...as an example for us to follow.
