Title: Can God's Word be found in commercial slogans?
Post by: thomastan on December 30, 2005, 07:45:49 PM
I have seen some examples of God's Word embodied in commercial slogans, like:
  • Expressions International says "Your body is a temple" which is what 1 Cor 6:19 says.
  • Nike's "Just Do It" can be a joiner to James 2:17 "Faith without action is dead".
  • DHL's "Going the extra mile" is similar to Mt 5:41 "Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two"
  • Adidas says "Impossible is nothing" and the Bible says in Mt 19:26 "with God all things are possible"
Can anyone think of more? Give me your comments here or post directly at my blog at http://cyberfellowship.blogspot.com/2005/12/gods-word-in-commercial-slogans.html

What's this for? Well, just another one of those crazy ways I use to teach & share God's Word.

God bless you all  :)
