Peaceful religion isn't spelled Islam.

Certainly there are those within Islam who do not subscribe to the atrocities But their peaceful practice of Islam doesn't make it a peaceful religion.

Professor Moshe Sharon of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem writes:

There are about 400 recognized terrorist groups in the world. Over 90 percent of these are Islamist groups. Over 90 percent of the current world fighting involves Islamist terror movements. The vast majority of world terrorism is religiously motivated by Islam.

This includes Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon, Indonesia, all of the Emirates, Sudan, Philippines, India, Libya, Algeria, Malaysia, Spain, Morocco, Yemen, Syria, Tunisia, Jordan and, finally, what they call the "occupied territory"  Israel. Louis Farrakhan is the face of Islam in America. Is his message one of peace? I say no he isn't!

"A British Muslim convert characterized an alleged mission to bomb the Israeli embassy in Australia as his obligation to Allah to perform jihad ..." The man went on to say, "As Muslims we are obligated to perform jihad to uphold the laws of Allah, the truth on his earth."

There have been Baptists calling for Hollywood to produce programming fit for family consumption  but I cannot point to Baptists calling for Hollywood to be destroyed because it is comprised of Jews and infidels.

There exist doctrinal differences between Wesleyans, Nazarenes and charismatics  most notably on the subject of a fabricated and nonmeaningful speech  but I have never heard these groups refer to one another as infidels or call for annihilation. But true followers of Islam cannot make that claim.


Find and slay the pagans non-Muslims wherever you find them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them, in every stratagem of war; but if they repent convert to Islam, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, them open up a way for them: for Allah is oft forgiving, most merciful ...  – Surah 9:5  

I cannot think of any practicing Christians, I know who would be overjoyed if their daughter married an unrepentant atheist. But I am unwaveringly confident that their Pastor would not call for her to be stabbed or axed to death for having brought dishonor to the family. Yet, in April, that is exactly what a Muslim Jordanian man did to his 8-months pregnant sister. And a Muslim Kurd murdered his 16-year-old daughter for starting a relationship with a Lebanese Christian boy in September 2003.

WND further reported "an anthropologist's study said dozens and probably hundreds of brutal 'honor killings' of Palestinian women and girls. annually go unreported." Such occurrences have taken place in the United States. Some may try to dismiss or argue away these examples as anecdotal, but they are anything but.

The recent beheading of Nick Berg sickened us, but this act was practiced and sanctioned by Muhammad himself.

In an article published by Barnabas Fund on May 14, "Hundreds of Christians die in bloody massacres in Kano," the Christian Association of Nigeria reported Muslim rioters had murdered 600-plus Christians and burned 12 Christian churches in one night. Pregnant women were "ripped open and their bodies burned."

In Jersey City and Newark, N.J., it wasn't Mennonites or Methodists who celebrated in the streets as 3,000-plus Americans were murdered.

Every morning of every day we read and hear of atrocities committed by fanatical Muslims. Christians are commonly politicized as being hardcore and fanatical; but decapitation is not Christian theology.

Many Muslims in this country may be peaceful, but apart from the radical activities of groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations, I've not heard a cacophony of their voices. But we should. After all it wasn't Mormons standing on a bridge in Fallujah shouting Allahu Akbar (God is great) while the remains of innocent mutilated Americans burned.

What It Means To Be Prophet Like Moses

There are five outstanding characteristics that have to be met. The Bible teaches that Moses is different than all the other Old Testament prophets. To be the prophet like Moses of Deuteronomy 18, these five characteristics have to be met. These requirements follow:

1. God spoke directly to Moses. All other prophets received their revelation by visions or dreams. Moses' revelation was directly from the mouth of God. "And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?" (Num. 12:6-8).
2. Moses was in the direct presence of God. He saw the similitude or form of the LORD. Moses glowed from being in direct presence of God's glory. "And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him" (Exod. 34:29-30).
3. Moses brought in a blood covenant relationship with God. The other prophets built upon this covenant, but no other Old Testament prophet brought in a different covenant. "And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God
of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness" (Exod. 24:8-10).
4. Moses did mighty signs and wonders. God used Moses to split the Red Sea. " And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left" (Exod. 14:21-22).
5. Moses prophesied of the future. Moses gave entire chapters of prophecy. His prophecy centered on the people and nation of Israel. "Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. ... And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God. But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD" (Lev. 26:42,44-45).
6. The prophet has to be a Jew. The Prophet like Moses will have to come from one of the tribes of Israel. The context of Deutromony 18 makes it clear that the brethren means someone from one of the 12 tribes of Israel.  Deuteronomy 18:1,2,7,15 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel... 2 Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them. 7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.  15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

The Lord Jesus Meets the Criteria To Be the Prophet Like Unto Moses

The Bible says that the Lord Jesus is the Prophet like unto Moses. "And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: . . . For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people (Acts 3:20,22-23).

1. God spoke directly to Moses. God spoke directly through the Lord Jesus. "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works" (John 14:10).
2. Moses was in the direct presence of God and glowed from God's presence. Jesus was the direct presence of God, and He manifested the glory of God! "And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light" (Matt. 17:1-2).
3. Moses brought in a blood covenant relationship with God. The Lord Jesus brought in a better blood covenant with God. The better covenant gives the assurance of eternal life to all that believe. "For this is my blood of the new testament [covenant],
which is shed for many for the remission of sins" (Matt. 26:28). "But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises" (Heb. 8:6).
4. Moses did mighty signs and wonders. Jesus did mighty signs and wonders. The Lord Jesus raised a man from the dead after he was four days in the grave. The Bible reported only a few of the awesome miracles that the Lord Jesus did. These miracles were a sign of Him being the Son of God. "Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. ... And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go" (John 11:39,43-44).
5. Moses prophesied of the future, as did Jesus. Like Moses, the Lord Jesus focused His prophecy on the Jews and their dispersion and restoration. The restoration of Israel and Jerusalem would occur just before His second coming. Just as the Lord prophesied, exactly happened to the Jews. Israel is once again a nation with Jerusalem as its capital. "And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? . . . But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land [Israel], and wrath upon this people [Jews]. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" (Luke 21:7,23-24).
6. Moses was a Jew and the Lord Jesus was a Jew.
Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. The Lord Jesus qualifies to be the Prophet because He is the Son of David from the tribe of Judah.

The Lord Jesus not only met the requirements of being the Prophet like unto Moses, but he exceeded them in all points. Moses was the servant of God, but the Lord Jesus was the Son of God; therefore, He was greater than Moses. "(Christ) Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. . . . And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house ..." (Heb. 3:2-3,5-6).

Since neither muhammah was Jewish, he is a  pawn used by Satan.

I'm glad that our concern here is the Holy Bible, not being politically correct.

As Christians, JESUS CHRIST is the LORD over our lives. HE is our core, our center, and the Holy Spirit lives in our hearts.

Plain and simple - Islam denies JESUS CHRIST as God, Lord and Saviour. So, MOST OBVIOUSLY, Islam is not Christian, nor is it associated in any way with Christianity. According to those who practice Islam, Christians are infidels.

What shocks me the most is the world's tolerance of the teaching of hate and killing to generation after generation of radical Islamists. We allow it in our own countries, I assume in the name of tolerance and freedom of religion. The people of the world are NOT blind, they see the madrassahs and know what's being taught there. They are actually training future terrorists on our own soil, and they enjoy all of the safety and protection of a free country to do it. I am amazed.

Brother Bob, your posts were very informative. I hope that you might have plans for a part three and more.

Islam may become the greatest murdering force in the history of mankind.

They were, upon the whole, from the black day when they first entered Europe, the one great anti-human specimen of humanity. Wherever they went a broad line of blood marked the track behind them, and, as far as their dominion reached, civilization disappeared from view. They represented everywhere government by force as opposed to government by law. Yet a government by force can not be maintained without the aid of an intellectual element. Hence there grew up, what has been rare in the history of the world, a kind of tolerance in the midst of cruelty, tyranny and rapine. Much of Christian life was contemptuously left alone and a race of Greeks was attracted to Constantinople which has all along made up, in some degree, the deficiencies of Turkish Islam in the element of mind.

The suffering of Middle Eastern Christian communities enjoyed a brief lull after WWI. Particularly in the newly-independent or semi-dependent Arab states that had been set up by the British and French as franchisees of their empires, the new European colonial presence meant that it was no longer possible to enforce the more drastic discriminatory practices, let alone ethnic cleansing, against the surviving Christian population. Britain and France were still meaningfully Christian nations at this time, and their colonial administrators did not tolerate the grosser forms of anti-Christian persecution in the lands under their rule. But this was merely a temporary improvement, not a permanent solution.

The Europeans, of course, eventually left, the British having given the world, albeit in a clumsy and dishonest manner that they tried to back out of in the end, the state of Israel; the French having accomplished essentially nothing beyond bringing a bit of elegance to Beirut, once known as the Paris of the Middle East.

Since WWII, the Moslem nations of the Middle East and environs have lurched from one disastrous political experiment to another, flirting with socialism (Egypt under Nasser), fascism (the Ba’ath Party in Syria and Iraq), Marxism (Yemen), development-oriented authoritarianism (Iran under the Shah), monarcho-kleptocracy (Kuwait), monarcho-Islamism (Saudi Arabia), Islamism (Iran under the mullahs), ethnic gerrymandering (Lebanon prior to 1975), civil war (Lebanon 1975-1990), colonialism (Syrian rule in Lebanon 1990-present), Pan-Africanism (Khadaffy in some of his moods), fake democracy (Jordan), secular militarism (Turkey, except when Islamists were nominally in charge), and warlordism (Afghanistan).   Each of these experiments has been somewhat more or less tolerant of Christians, but the constant has been that none has been particularly friendly.  There have been a few shining exceptions, like the years in Lebanon when Christians had a secured place in government thanks to the “national pact” and the pro-Western Shah of Iran, who was fairly reasonable not only towards Christians, but towards Jews and to Iran’s two exotic religious minorities, the Zoroastrians and the Bahais.

Generally in the post-WWII era, the perceived slight of infidel presence and direct or indirect dominance in the Arab world has resulted in a backlash in the form of an Islamic religious revival. Notably in the aftermath of the Arab defeats of 1967 and 1973, Christians were subjected to new restrictions.  In Egypt the construction of new churches by the Copts was obstructed, a quota system was instituted regarding university admissions, Christians were barred from high government positions, and they were even accused of complicity with Zionism on the grounds of conciliatory statements from the Vatican about the Jews. The process of Islamic resurgence reached a new peak with the fall of the Shah and the Islamic revolution in Iran 1979. .

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has published an ad in several California newspapers to promote peace between Christians and Muslims. "Like Christians," it says, Muslims respect and revere Jesus. Uh-huh yeah, right! Islam teaches that Jesus is one of the greatest of God's prophets and messengers to humankind. Like Christians, every day, over 1.3 billion Muslims strive to live by his teachings of love, peace, and forgiveness. Those teachings, which have become universal values, remind us that all of us, Christians, Muslims, Jews, and all others have more in common than we think.

In fact, some of these forced conversions, are being conducted by well funded groups.. It is common for money to be offered to Christians to convert to Islam, but it also common for intimidation and force, including kidnapping and the threat or use of rape to be adopted as a method of making Christians convert to Islam. Christian women and girls are especially vulnerable to these attacks and the Egyptian authorities do nothing to protect the Christians. The Egyptian police even order the families of kidnapped Christian women to forget about their daughters and not to try to get them back.

In neighboring Sudan it's much the same story. Reports journalist Jesper Strudsholm:


The world "ISLAM" is Arabic for "surrender" or "submission" to the will of Allah (God).  In the language of the Holy Qur'an, Islam means the readiness of a person to take orders from God and to follow them through. It is not derived from the word, "peace," as Muslims would have us believe!  Look it up in any dictionary and see for yourself! Seeing a Muslim praying nearly flat on his face five times a day even projects the appearance of a master-slave relationship... a submission of sorts.  And while the Muslim is submissive to Allah, all "non-believers" (Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Catholics, etc.) MUST submit to the Muslim. That's how THEIR God wills it to be!

Until a nation has embraced Islam, it is legally considered a battlefield (Dar-ul-Harb).  Once it has converted to Islam (or all its citizens have been slaughtered or driven out), it then becomes a Land of Peace (Dar-us-Salaam).  For those who think that the threat of Islam is only a phenomenon of the Middle East, think again!  Although the Jewish State of Israel has been fighting a brave and fierce battle against Islam for over 50 years, there are many otherBuddhist Statue at Bamiyan Destroyed "hot spots" in the world.  

For example, the former Taliban's hard line leader in Afghanistan, Mullah Mohammed Omar, issued an edict that Buddhist statues insulted Islam.  Apparently no one clued in Mulah Mohammed Omar that Islam is an insult to humanity!  In any event, within days of his edict, all Buddhist statues, including a giant 5th century Buddha at Bamiyan carved out of sandstone, were destroyed as the "civilized" world could only stand by and watch it happen.

 Uighur Muslim separatist terrorists are active in  Western China's Xinjiang Province.  The  Philippines is nearly 95% Catholic/Christian yet the Muslim rebel group called Abu Sayyaf (“Bearer of the Sword")  have aligned with bin Laden's al Qaeda and want their own independent Islamic Nation. Kidnapping for ransom is so common here that the Philippines has often been described as the kidnapping capital of the world!  War rages between Indonesian Muslims and the Christians in East Timor. Malaysia is a time-bomb ready to explode between Muslims and the minority Chinese and Indian populations.  

Indonesia is composed of seventeen thousand islands that stretch over five thousand miles along the equator. Most are Muslims but there are substantial Christian, Hindu and Buddhist minorities. Christian churches were almost wiped out in a single weekend in Indonesia. One of Indonesia's islands is Bali. Most of Bali’s 3 million inhabitants are Hindu and hundreds of Hindu temples are part of its scenic beauty. Unlike other parts of Indonesia, Bali has maintained a relaxed, tolerant lifestyle, immune from the strife wracking the country in recent years. Hundreds of thousands of annual vacationers flock to Bali's luxury resorts and black beaches. They may no longer!  On October 12, 2002 deadly explosions ripped through two popular nightclubs in the Kuta Beach area on Bali island, Indonesia, a destination popular with international tourists. The death toll from the bombings  most recently confirmed at 187  is expected to rise as authorities believe there are still more than 200 people unaccounted for. Many of them are Australian holidaymakers. The scent of C4 explosives (similar to that used to blow up Israelis!) was everywhere which leads one to conclude that Muslim/Islamic terrorists had a hand in this. specifically, the Jemaah Islamiah group.

Islamists in the 83 % Muslim country of Bangladesh aspire to establish a true "Islamic Republic" much like Afghanistan under the Taliban. Meanwhile,  members of minority religions have suffered from ghastly violence, including collective terror. Some Buddhists and Christians were blinded, had fingers cut off or had hands amputated, while others had iron rods nailed through their legs or abdomen. Women and children have been gang-raped, often in front of their fathers or husbands. Pakistani Muslim soldiers raped a quarter of a million Bangali women in 1971 after they massacred 3 million unarmed civilians. This atrocity is not considered a sin in Islam, because the religious leader of the soldiers decreed that Bangladeshis were infidels. In addition, hundreds of temples were desecrated and statues destroyed; thousands of homes and businesses looted or burned. As for Hindus, the human rights organization Freedom House reports they have been subject to "rape, torture and killing and the destruction of their cultural and religious identity at the hands of Muslims." In one indicative step, Islamists sometimes force Hindu women to dress in the Islamist fashion.

Islam may become the greatest murdering force in the history of mankind. The Muslims have a saying: "First [destroy] the Saturday People (Jews)... then the Sunday People (Christians)."  And when the Muslims tire of killing or converting non-Muslims, they go after other Muslims!  The ten-year Iran-Iraq War resulting in  the deaths of over one million deserving Muslims was said to have been fought over a land dispute.  This is not entirely true for the underlying hatred between two conflicting views of Islam was the major spark that ignited this conflict.  

There is no point in beating around the bush. The fact is that Islam is a militant, intolerant, incendiary religion whose adherents, whenever they establish "critical mass" of about 10 percent of a given population, begin to foment violence, revolt and Jihad in essence, a declaration of war on Western Civilization. A World War Three?

Two of Europe's most legally tolerant regions...namely, the Dutch-language areas around Europe's most important west coast harbors, Antwerp [Belgium] and Rotterdam [Netherlands]... as the main breeding ground for Muslim-fundamentalist terrorist groups. Osama bin Laden 's organization even runs shipping companies as fronts from Amsterdam.

Something rotten in Denmark? How about the 200,000 Muslim immigrants trying to dictate their anti-Israel, anti-America and anti-Western values upon 5 million Danes? Even though they represent only 4% of the population, the Muslims consume upwards of 40 percent of welfare spending. Unfortunately the U.S. military cannot help for it was always preparing for the wrong war.  Soviet or Chinese communism was never driven by such fanaticism.  Besides, the Russians stayed in Russian and the Chinese in China.  By contrast, the Soldiers of Islam are spreading into all societies... first as simple shop owners and cab drivers, then students, then student activists, then violent agitators and finally assassins and bombers.  Look for a mosque to appear soon in YOUR neighborhood, if it's not there yet!

THERE IS NOT ONE CHRISTIAN NATION ON EARTH WHERE MUSLIMS ARE PERSECUTED. Yet in 83% of nations where the majority of the population are Muslims, there is systematic government persecution of Christians. This persecution includes imposing the death penalty for sharing the Christian faith with a Muslim; national laws prohibiting conversion from Islam to Christianity; destruction of churches; and murder or expulsion of Christian missionaries. Even in the few predominantly Muslim countries where the government does not openly participate in the persecution, it ignores and even encourages illegal persecution by Muslims against Christians.

The laws of most of these Islamic nations give lip service to religious freedom. Nothing could be further from the truth. In most of the countries I researched, the death penalty was common for converting from Islam to Christianity (or any other religion). Christians receive no protection from these governments when they are persecuted; indeed, most often the governments themselves are the persecutors. Children of Christians are stolen from their parents so that they can be raised as Muslims. Speaking about Christianity to a Muslim can result in beatings, long prison sentences and even death.

In Sudan, Christians are sold into slavery or murdered for no other crime than naming the Name of Christ. Over two million have been murdered, and 200,000 have been sold into slavery by their government. An organization named Christian Solidarity International has raised money to buy almost 60,000 slaves from their captors and free them. One 22-year-old Protestant girl, a virgin, was captured by government soldiers and raped repeatedly for five days as she was marched through the jungle tied to twenty other slaves. Many women and children died during this march. She was then used as a slave and forced to study Islam until bought out of slavery by C.S.I. What about our "allies"? You can dress a monster up in a pinstriped suit, teach him to speak formally and use the right fork at state dinners, and put him in a group of diplomats for a photo opportunity, but that doesn't make him civilized. Our "friends" in the international community, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, and our most recent buddy, Pakistan, are all guilty of atrocities against Christians based on nothing other than their profession of faith. Allow me emphasize that we are not talking about a radical minority of citizens acting on their own. We are talking about systematic state persecution, state murder and state crimes against humanity, all legal according to the various constitutions and laws of these vicious nations.

Turkey, our "military ally", is 99.8% Muslim. Recently, eight Americans were arrested in Turkey for the "crime" of giving away copies of the New Testament. In 1974 Turkey overran Cyprus - which is 80% Christian - and has ruled that small nation with an iron fist since then. The Turkish government expelled thousands of Orthodox Christians, then took a thousand-year-old monastery and turned it into a mosque! Imagine the international outcry if a mosque anywhere were to be stolen by a government and turned into a Christian church.

The Libyan government took a Christian Cathedral and converted it to a mosque. In Kuwait, the nation America's military saved from a brutal occupation by Iraq, the government tries to bribe Christians to convert to Islam. A Kuwaiti Christian was recently condemned to die by the religious court for converting from Islam. It should come as no surprise that 150,000 Christians have fled Iraq to avoid persecution. Over 150 Christian churches have been demolished in Iraq, where death is the penalty for proclaiming faith in Christ. NOW, you tell me Islam is peacful? Fair warning, I'll laugh at you, for that!

I'm curious, what does everyone think about the recent plans of Tony Blair in England to pass legislation: teaching or preaching hate and killing by Islamic extremists results in deportation? I think that's a fairly good first step for every country in the world. We should also stop spending money and trading with any country or entity that harbors, supports, or allows the teaching of hate and killing. AND, obviously, terrorists should be hunted down and taken out of business all over the world. What they do is in the name of barbarism and crime, certainly not god, and most certainly not our GOD.

I give another WOW!! Thank you brother for this well researched well written work. Although I knew the main goal of Islam and their methods of achieving it, I did not know all these additional details.

I think that what Tony Blair is doing can be a good thing for their country. At the same time I can see where these laws could be turned against others that teach against hate and violence. Such laws are very tricky and could be used by evil against the good. We already see such activity in our own country from the ACLU that is very adept in twisting laws to their benefit.

Terror Inc. Islam

Muslims all over the world have been known to point their fingers at Western society and comment on how degenerate westerners have no sense of family, and that as a consequence, crime, immorality and violence are rampant all over the West. The implication is that Western society is ridden with the consequences of their "descadent and immoral" liberality and irreligious attitude.

The truth is something completely different. The fact is that the highest incidences of violent crimes such as murder, rape, child molestation, dismemberment and armed robbery happen in Islamic countries. In Non-Islamic countries, wherever terrorist and subversive activities take place, one is sure to find the presence of Muslims.

This pattern is so obvious that it leads one to wonder what exactly is it that makes Muslims so viciously engaged in violent crimes against the rest of humanity. Why are all terrorist activities that target innocent Non-Muslim victims always abetted by Muslim terrorists? What is it that makes the Muslim mind so subject to criminality and the display of such violent tendencies right from his/her childhood days?

The systematic brainwashing that Muslims are subjected to since birth. The majority of the Non-Islamic world has deluded itself into believing that the principles of Islam are tolerant in nature. This misconception is heightened when people think that the fault lies with only a handful of misguided Muslims who are not adhering to Islamic principles and hence indulge in terrorism. It is time for the entire world to realise that Islam by its very nature and through its essential principles openly supports, encourages and propogates Terrorism of the worst kind. Therefore the Islamic terrorist is in fact the most devout Muslim, because he is following exactly what Islam teaches through the Divine Koran. It is this very Koran which is considered by Muslims to be the holy word of their Allah himself. The Koran functions as the central terrorist manual that urges them to slaughter, rape, torture,pillage, mutilate and molest all Non-Muslims.

Islam is exhorted by their GOD to kill, mutilate, molest, rape and steal. This repetitive conditioning of the mind is performed by indoctrinating the Koranic Surahs in every Muslim child at Islamic schools. The Muslim child daily memorizes the Koranic Surahs which exhort him/her to murder, violence, hatred and crime against every Non-Muslim. The Muslim child learns to hate Non-Muslims, before he loses his first tooth. The doctrines that are forced down his throat are so deeply embedded in the child's mind, that he cannot view the world in any other perspective except as a composition of Muslims and Kafirs (Infidel). It is also made clear to the child that ALL Kafirs (Non-Muslims) are evil by their very nature and that it is every Muslim's moral and religious duty to either convert all the Kafirs to Islam by force or Kill each and every one of them.

Koran 17:16-17 When we decide to destroy a population, we send a definite order to them who have the good things in life and yet transgress; so that Allah's word is proved true against them: then we destroy them utterly. How many generations have we destroyed after Noah? And enough is thy Lord to note and see the Sins of his servants

Here Allah, the God of the Muslims is clearly stating the exact method that he adopts when he commits genocide of an entire POPULATION. And why does Allah decide to destroy entire populations? Simply because they don't believe in Allah and so Allah will kill them all, to take revenge. Next Allah is indulging in an unbelievable display of conceit. He is actually BOASTING about how many generations he has destroyed after Noah. If Allah had a list of his merits, no doubt genocide of numerous generations of people would top his list. Allah enjoys watching the annhilation of thousands of Non-Muslims at the hands of his pious followers, the Muslims.

Koran 21:11 How many were the populations we utterly destroyed because of their inequities, setting up in their place other peoples

Again Allah is boasting about his amazing exploits such as genocide and displacement of innocent people. The justification for this crime is that these innocent people had "inequities". Apparently any community which is not Muslim is full of inequities by Islamic definition and therefore fair game for all pious Muslims to massacre and plunder.

Koran 58:5 Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be crumbled to dust, as were those before them: for we have already sent down Clear Signs and the Unbelievers will have a humiliating Penalty

Those who resist Allah and His Messenger" obviously refers to anyone who is not a Muslim. Therefore every Non-Muslim must be crushed to death by the holy edict of Allah. No doubt it was this very verse which must have served as a motivation for those pious Muslims who bombed the World Trade Center. Allah must have been extremely pleased to watch all those innocent Non-Muslims being crumbled to death.

Koran 8:37 In order that Allah may seperate the impure from the pure, Put All the impure ones (Non-Muslim), one on top of the another in a Heap and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost

The "All-Merciful Allah" is now specifically instructing all "peace-loving Muslims" to heap up a mountain of corpses of the non believers. Of course, in order to do this holy task for Allah, the Muslim must first go out and attack innocent Non-Muslims and massacre them so that Allah's wishes are fulfilled. Allah seems to have an inexhaustible thirst for the blood of innocents. Note that the reason given to massacre non-believers is that "Allah may seperate the Impure from the Pure". It has nothing to do with self-defense or protection as Muslims try to argue. The explicit purpose for this heinous crime is so that Allah can easily differentiate between the Muslims and Non-Muslims. This way it becomes a lot easier for Allah and his angelic helpers to dump the heaps of murdered Non-Muslims into Hellfire.

Any deluded Non-Muslim who thinks that Islam is the religion of peace and that it is only misguided Muslims who commit terrorism and atrocities, can pick up an English translation of the Koran from any bookstore and refer to these Verses (Surahs). If, even after reading these Surahs, you are foolhardy enough not to realise the facts that I have explained, then here is a list of Allah's plans for you. All of these punishments befit you by default if you happen to be a Non-Muslim. Even a mass murderer will eventually attain Pardise if he is Muslim, wheras any Non-Muslim, even if he happens to be a Saint is eternally damned to Hellfire by Allah's decree. In Allah's own immortal words: Koran 2:39 Those who reject faith (Islam) and belie our signs, They shall be Companions of the Fire and abide in it.

The Koran is a psychological manual that incites hatred and violence in the reader. It was specifically designed for this very purpose, so that the Prophet Mohammed could carry on his tradition of Genocide and Terrorism, long after his death. The entire recorded history of Muslims is a testament to this fact.

Mr. Patrick Sookhdeo, director of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Christianity, speaking of the extremist, violent nature of Islam:

Promise of God in the Thora, in the Gospel and in the Koran.” (Koran 9:11) Finally, let us quote these last verses of the Koran, which will give us much to ponder following the events of September 11th and for those to come? “But, how many cities did we destroy, which were living in luxury? . . . your Lord would not have destroyed these cities without having sent in their metropolis, an apostle to recite our verses” (Koran 28, 58-59) “They did not believe . . . God grab them . . . and they were severely chastised . . . they were proud . . . They lost” (Koran 40:20-83). “We are going to destroy the guilty and to install you at their place on this earth.” (Koran 14:14)

A few years ago, Father Vincent Serralda, a French priest who lived for fifty years in North Africa and who can be considered to be an expert on the Islamic World, prepared a study to analyze the Koran and to warn French families of the danger of Islam. He wrote in the preface of his study, the following:

Christian civilization, caught between a dying democracy and a vigorous Islam, appears to be condemned to imminent death. Islam, like a cancer growing faster and more efficiently on a weak and sick body, develops and grows on the ruins of democracy and Christianity. Democracy and Christianity, having nothing left to oppose Islam, like the fatally wounded man, imploring the mercy of his torturer, tries in desperation to avoid the deathblow, offers him, dialogue!

Excellent documentation. Been researching Islam myself a bit, and there's no doubt that it is a false religion, created by a false Christ/prophet, with a false God.

I don't have any documentation on this, but apparently Mohammed created the one god out of the 300+ that his people were worshipping in his day. And he had narrowed down the resulting one God from 3 of the main gods of his time. One, of course, was a moon god, which is why you see the crescent moon as one of their symbols.

I've also picked up bits and pieces of the history of Mohammed, such as the fact that he was a pedophile, marrying a 9 year old girl. Then he wrote a law for his koran that made it acceptable for his followers to permit. Mohammed did these permissive writings frequently when he felt the need to indulge in his flesh.

If anyone does a proper study of The Crusades from truly reputable historians, you will find that those Crusaders were heroes who thwarted the onslaught of Islam into Europe. Not this garbage revisionist history that seeks to make Europeans ashamed of this conflict.

As for what Blair is doing, I hope it is enough. Myself, I would outlaw Islam totally, and regardless of their demeanor, deport every single one of them. And it wouldn't matter if your were a native son/daughter who converted. You Islam, you gone.

The reason for the hard stance is that, even though a particular Muslim may be gentle and peaceful, the following generations may not end up so peaceful.

But of course, if you purge Muslims, then you are going to have to purge other so-called religions such as the church of satan. And that's not a bad idea either!

Anyways, I can truly see the seeds of WW III growing, and Islam is certainly going to be on one side of the fence.

Just some of my thoughts.............in no way am I defending Islam.

Marriage to a 9 yr. old girl............I understood this to mean even though there was a marriage, it wasn't a consummated one.  I don't know what age the girl would have to be before it was consummated.  Maybe I'm incorrect.

Reference Tony Blair's and your thoughts.................I agree but don't think it's this easy.  If it was, it would have been done long ago.  There will be repercussions which might make things worse.  Sometimes, being scattered is better than being together........................you know, there's more power in togetherness.  I don't know what the answer is.  The only thing I can think of is prayer that God will expose their hierarchy and bring them to justice.  In a way, this is what Hitler tried to do, albeit a bit different from what Blair is trying to do.  In no way am I saying Hitler and Blair are alike.  It's just that Hitler was trying to cart off what he deemed societal problems.  We're sort of looking at it the same way, although we're not killing them like Hitler did.

 

Historically we don't know if Mohammeds marriage to Aisha was consummated or not. We do know that in countries such as Yemen, Afghanistan and even in India that there are consummated marriages of girls as young as 6. Yes, that is not a type-o, I said  6 (SIX). In many of these countries there are no laws to control the age of a child getting married. It is usually left up to the parents and many of these parents marry their children off for bride money.

The views of Islam toward women is sickening. They view girls and women as property instead of human beings.

I was just listening to a news story about Gaza. That sounds like a powder keg with the fuse lit, but it seems there are many powder kegs with the fuse lit involving Islam. We know from studying Bible Prophecy that Islam will be a part of many end of this age events. In fact, the stage is set and the players are in place for Bible Prophecy to unfold. As Christians, it is not the time to give up, just the opposite. Christians should have a burning desire to work harder than ever to share the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel of God's Grace. Our time for sharing might be growing short.

PLEASE don't think that I'm hinting at date setting or claiming to have any kind of revelation. I simply see this evil world getting worse by the minute and powers in place. By the end of this age, 2/3 of the world's population will be destroyed. It's very sad for a Christian to know how many people are lost. If they die in their sins without JESUS, they will be doomed to eternal punishment in hell. This should be a matter of daily prayer for every Christian. Even if this isn't the last days, Christians should be witnessing as if these are the last days.

As much as I hate to be a moderate voice on this subject ....... a few points to ponder.

Not all Muslims are radicals and wish their children to become suicide bombers.   Could it be that some are just like the cultural C&E (Christmas and Easter) Christians who are just as ignorant about their holy scriptures?  Just as much as all western European colonists were not Christian missionaries.  It is totally unfair to brand a whole group of people as evil.  If people are presenting factual information on this forum fine.  There should be no tolerance for hate or advocating genocide.   I do have a problem with radical Islamists and so do many moderate Muslims.  Britain and Canada have hate crime laws so there really is not true freedom of speech that Americans love.  If Britain deports or jails people for committing hate crimes, fantastic.  Other countries should do the same.

I had the interesting opportunity to have to defend the Christian/Jewish Bible against allegations that it was hate literature against Wiccan beliefs.  I know a woman who is Wiccan (I often pray for her) who was very upset and angry that the Bible says all witches should be put to death.  I had to explain to her that Christians are not on a witch hunt to kill Wiccans (while there might be some who are, I am not one of them).  While there are several crimes which the penalty prescribed is death in the Bible, we do not use those punishments today.  The Bible does advocate genocide against the Amekelites (whoever they may be today?)  So someone should really have to survey several moderate Muslims to ask them why those scriptures advocating genocide against Jews and Pagans (can be interpreted as Christians, Hindus, etc) are in there and what is their revelance now (and maybe why they have not been removed).  

The question about the 9 yr bride.  There are several reasons to arrange a marriage: for protection of the girl/woman, alliances with other families/clans, not just for sexual purposes.  I had pointed this out in a Muslim/Christian discussion.  After which one Muslim said that the marriage was not consumated until the girl was 11 yrs old since she had a child from that union when she was 12 yrs old.  That alleged fact did not add any favour to the case.  I was still disgusted.  

The only thing that bothers me about Jesus is the clearing of the temple.  I do not particularly like the image of violence.  But it should be noted that Jesus is often portrayed as a revolutionary against oppression when evangelizing to Muslims and some other populations.  The issue of the Bible allegedly supporting slavery is often used when convincing African-heritaged people to convert to Islam.  (terrorist groups often recruit converts and convicts because then they will have the desire to 'prove their devotion' and because they have broken the law already they will be more likely to see justification in breaking it again.  That is why I have a huge problem with prison allowing in these 'missionaries'.)  As the plight of the Palestinians/ strife in Pakistan being the fault of (Christian) European/American governments used to convert other cultural/racial groups.   Of course the converts are told that the Koran must be read only in Arabic (which they will have to learn) so they do not know what it is really about.  

I also question that if the Koran is considered to be such a piece of hate literature why is it the first thing given along with clothing and a bed roll to prisoners at Guitanimo Bay, Cuba?

You are correct. Not all Muslims are murderous radicals. However, the vast majority of them remain madeningly silent on the subject of Islamic terror - holy jihad. I would even venture to say that the great majority of Muslims in the world actually support such action.

When we speak about Islam in the light of terror, we are not condemning any peaceful Muslims. We are pointing the finger directly into the faces of the terrorists, and yes, those who support them even through silence.

What do you suppose the reaction from the Christian world would be if a group of terrorists calling themselves Christians went around murdering innoscent people like these terrorists do? The outrage and condemnation would be instantanious, and heard worldwide on every tv and newspaper around the globe. That's the major problem with "peaceful" Muslims.

Look how these Islamists countries are run. Remember Afghanistan before the war? It was a living hell hole. I watched a little old woman being beaten in the street by a religious cop with a steel bar, for the crime of accidently allowing her forearm to be seen in pubic! I saw mass executions being held for public enjoyment in a local soccer field. men being hung, and women being shot in the head, simply because of a rumor of adultery! This is Islam my friend, as politically incorrect as it may be to say that - it is reality.

As far as the bible supporting slavery goes - slavery in biblical days, was not what we know as slavery in our time. A "slave" could (if he chose, in most cases) offer his/her service to a family for a set time period in order to pay off a debt, or as payment for marriage to the families daughter, or simply as a form of work for food and lodgeing. Jesus told people to treat them (slaves) good.

Remember, it's not anything from Jesus which leads to people's choices to turn from Him and commit evil in the world. That is satan's job, and men have free will to take part in it. So I object to the idea that "Christians" or the "bible" is the cause of people's evil deeds. God commands us to go out and spread the good news. If Christians never evangelized, hundreds of millions of men and women, who are Christians because of people who followed God's orders, would be headed straight ot hell.

Christians do have some explanations for violence/slavery in the Bible as you have explained.  I have yet to hear any Muslims explain the passages of the Koran that advocate genocide.

We do however forget that there are some Christians who have justified their acts of terrorism.  Organizations such as the IRA and other groups have been supported by Christians, even some American Christians.

CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is an organization in America that few people have heard about. This organization has its sights on taking over the government and doing away with our Constitution by any means possible. Their first objective is to do so by peaceful means through converting as many people as possible to Islam. If that does not work then their intent is to use any other means possible to overthrow the government.  And this is a "religion of peace and tolerance".

BTW this organization has had the ACLU supporting them in their many lawsuits that are intended to achieve their objective.

I understand almost more than I want to know about criminal behavior and terrorists. I did read the answers link you posted, but it really boils down to excuses, not reasons. I was just reflecting on the unknown thousands of what I will refer to as first victims. I'm talking about missionaries, aid workers, and the general category of folks who have never done anything except to help. Yet, they were beaten, tortured, killed, and put in prison.

All mass murderers have excuses, and some of them are insane. Their excuses mean nothing to their innocent victims and the families of the victims. The common denominator and end result must always be the same: they must be and will be stopped. It's also common that negotiations are a complete waste of time for the vast majority, and it actually is viewed as a sign of weakness, winning, and reason for more acts of violence. The only thing they really understand is force. I'm not hinting that we should stop trying other methods, but I am saying that we should understand reality. Aid workers and missionaries won't use force, so more and more of them are becoming victims. I have no doubt at all that Christians will keep trying to help people around the world, regardless of how many volunteers are killed or become victims.

In short, I don't buy the excuses.

 I have heard many Muslims on Arab's Al-Jazeera news show advocating murder and corroborating the Koran's blessings upon those who do the killing. I have never heard a single Chrisian do any such thing throught the Holy bible.

 I'm not saying that Christians do not do evil my friend. Your example of the IRA actually underlines my statement that Christians around the world condemned those murderous actions. There was never any news footage of Christians cheering in the streets when an IRA bomb ripped through the street shops in England, and tore apart innocent victims. I have seen much footage of Muslims cheering wildly whenever innocent victims are killed by their buddies, such as 911.
Surely you can see the difference here.

Local talk-radio station WMAL is under assault from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a group that has savaged journalists, critics of radical Islam, even the Fox TV show "24" -- but which just as steadfastly has refused to specifically condemn various Islamic terrorist organizations.
    CAIR has instigated a campaign to pressure the Disney-owned WMAL to fire its already-suspended midday host, which came on the heels of its initial effort to have him suspended.
    Though the outcome is uncertain in the current situation, two things are certain: 1) CAIR will continue demonizing genuine criticism of radical Islam as "Islamophobia," and 2) it will never specifically condemn radical Islam or Islamic terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
    At issue are remarks made by mid-morning host Michael Graham, in which he said that "Islam has, sadly, become a terrorist organization." But what is lost in most media accounts -- and is never mentioned by CAIR -- are the surrounding statements made by Mr. Graham, which put the thrust of his comments in an entirely different light.
    Mr. Graham's comments, in fact, were not met with immediate condemnation or outrage. He wasn't suspended until July 28, almost a week after his on-air remarks. In the interim, CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper even came on Mr. Graham's show -- telling him that CAIR didn't want him fired, just punished. Once Mr. Graham was suspended indefinitely later that week, CAIR quickly called for his head.
    Here are Mr. Graham's remarks, with full context:
    "Because of the mix of Islamic theology that -- rightly or wrongly -- is interpreted to promote violence, added to an organizational structure that allows violent radicals to operate openly in Islam's name with impunity, Islam has, sadly, become a terrorist organization. It pains me to say it. But the good news is it doesn't have to stay this way, if the vast majority of Muslims who don't support terror will step forward and reclaim their religion."
    Plenty of people can -- and should -- take issue with the framing of the religion itself as a "terrorist organization." But his surrounding comments have more than a ring of truth. Islamic theology is used to promote violence. And in many parts of the world, radicals have taken control of Islam--and the moderates have been effectively silenced.
    And Mr. Graham's desire that moderates reclaim control of Islam is shared by many, though likely not by CAIR or groups of its ilk.
    CAIR was founded in 1994 by two former high-ranking officials with the Islamic Association of Palestine, a rabidly anti-Semitic organization known as Hamas' biggest political booster in the United States.
    Since September 11, CAIR officials have been careful to avoid the appearance that they support Islamic terrorism. But not before September 11. In November 1999, CAIR President Omar Ahmad addressed a youth session at the IAP annual convention in Chicago, where he praised suicide bombers who "kill themselves for Islam": "Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam ? that is not suicide. They kill themselves for Islam." (Transcript provided by the Investigative Project.)
    Though CAIR's mission is not to serve as an overt Hamas partisan, the organization has refused to specifically condemn the terrorist organization. Ditto for Hezbollah, which is responsible for murdering more Americans than any other terrorist group besides al Qaeda. And CAIR refused to condemn bin Laden or al Qaeda by name until three months after September 11.
    The Washington Post in November 2001 asked a CAIR spokesman to condemn Hamas or Islamic Jihad. He refused, explaining, "It's not our job to go around denouncing." Asked a similar question about Hamas and Hezbollah by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in February 2002, Mr. Hooper called such queries a "game," and added, "We're not in the business of condemning."
    Of course, CAIR is very much "in the business of condemning." The group gleefully slams critics of radical Islam, television shows, and talk-radio hosts. But when it comes to Islamic terrorist organizations or prominent Muslims who endorse terrorism, CAIR's silence is deafening.
    To provide cover -- and further perpetuate the myth that CAIR and other American Muslim organizations are genuinely "moderate" -- various fundamentalist Muslim leaders recently issued a fatwa against "extremism" and "terrorism." It was classic CAIR obfuscation: It condemned terms that were intentionally not defined. Not coincidentally, no terrorist organizations were named. Sadly, many media outlets were snookered.
    The question is: will WMAL be snookered? The station, for its part, refuses comment, with one official calling it a "human resources issue." And the station has never acknowledged that CAIR was responsible for its decision. So it is possible that something else may be at play. There are even some signals that the host might be back behind the microphone before long. At press time, he had not been reinstated.
    Regardless of whether or not CAIR is successful in ousting Mr. Graham, though, it's only a matter of time before the group launches its next smear campaign. There's no telling whom CAIR would target next for condemnation, though it is clear who would not be.

Studies have shown that, islam is a  violent religion in todays world. The Crusades which you talk about happened under the catholic pops. Christianty is different then the catholics are. Though there are some good catholics out there. Christians believe the Bible. Alot of catholics believe what the pope tells them. It's already been proven that islam is a false faith. What a glorious thought, one truly from the mind of God.  A thought that stands in glaring contrast to the teachings of the Quran.  America must awaken and realize that we are a Christian nation, with Christian morals.  The Quran and the Islamic faith are in direct opposition to the things that we as Christians cherish so dearly.  I implore all that read this to realize that we do not worship the same God as the Islamics.  However, we must be cautious not to be overcome with hatred for these people, for their human nature does not differ from ours. I guess you could say, hate the faith, not the people.

The World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks should illustrate that there is a big difference between the Christian and Islamic faiths.  I know that many who read this will write it off as extremist, not mainstream Islam.  But consider that many people who claim to be Christians in this country do not read their Bible, go to Church, or practice the teachings of Jesus Christ.  The same is true of Islamics.  Many simply do not closely follow the teachings of the Quran, or like many Christians (regarding the Bible) have such a non-literal interpretation as to render it of none affect.

The fact is that fundamentalist Christians are “harmless as doves” [Math 10:16].  Many millions live in this country and they are active in charity work and the ministry.  Notice that the Words of our God restrain our violent tendencies and “guide our feet into the way of peace” Luke 1:79.  To the contrary, fundamentalist Islamics are often extremely violent, and one need look no further than the Quran for the explanation.

Do you doubt this?  When was the last time you saw Americans crash planes into Islamic buildings for reward in heaven?  This is a wakeup call for Christians worldwide.  The Quran makes it clear that Jews and Christians are of the devil.  You must make up your own mind who you think is right.  My mind is already made-up!

I give thanks that your son wasn't killed. Voice of the Martyrs is an excellent resource for horrendous violence carried out against Christians all over the world. The horrible sadness involves many of things they were trying to do:  deliver food, give medical attention,  provide clean water sources, etc. However, they were willing to die to help, and many of them did.

I love this beautiful portion of Scripture. It describes a LOVE that is very difficult to show and achieve. Many other like portions of Scripture instruct us to show the same kind of LOVE JESUS CHRIST showed for us when he died for us on the Cross. This type of LOVE is called AGAPE LOVE, and it is specifically the LOVE of JESUS for us. AGAPE LOVE is an interesting study all by itself. We never achieve it, but we are to try.

Every time I think about AGAPE LOVE, I think about our missionaries and volunteers working all over the world trying to help the starving masses and people with all kinds of other needs. One of the biggest needs is always having JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Saviour. It makes me cry when I think that many of our missionaries and volunteers go as lambs to the slaughter, and they never come back. I pray for them several times per day and ask all Christians to do the same. What they are doing is an example of AGAPE LOVE.

That happened right here in the USA., Brothers Tom, and Roger. The boys dean, broke it up. This happened right on the High School grounds. From what I understand, the muslims were preaching, when my son answered them. With Jesus's sermon on the absolute sovereignty of God. All that did for him is harden his heart, against muslims.

I understod it even before knowing this about your son. My youngest son had a run in with two Muslims at a place where he used to work. My son was only praying before his lunch when they attacked him. They are still working there and my son isn't so I fully understand.

Islam also uses the Hadith (another "holy" book of Islam) that says Jihad, or holy war, is the second best thing to believing in Allah and his apostle (Muhammad). Allah's apostle was asked, "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and his Apostle." The questioner then asked, "What is the next?" He replied, "To participate in Jihad in Allah's cause." (Hadith vol. 1, no. 25).  So when you hear militant Muslims threatening “holy war”, you will now understand where that expression comes from their God.

As a Christian my beliefs are entirely incompatible with this.  Christians believe that Jesus was the Christ and Messiah, and only through his sacrifice can we obtain salvation from God’s righteous judgement and eternal damnation in hell for our sin.  Jesus preached an entirely different message than Muhammad,  in his famous “Sermon on the Mount”. The Sermon on the Mount contains Jesus' best known advice on having a healthy
relationship with God and people.

Now I will be watching this carefully. If it get to be to hard to keep the islamic dummys, off this thread, I will lock it.

ACLU Alliance with CAIR?

For those who are still not familiar with the group CAIR--the Council on American-Islamic Relations--I'll provide some background information. Founded in 1994, CAIR is headquarted in Washington, DC and has thirty-one chapters and regional offices in the United States and Canada.

Of note, CAIR was founded by Nihad Awad, Omar Ahwad, Rafiq Jaber and other former members of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP). Jaber is also the current spokesman for the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation in Illinois; a mosque tied to the IAP and the Quranic Literacy Institute that were named in the 2004 drive-by murder of David Boim. The IAP and Quranic Literacy Institute were ordered by the court to pay Boim's family $156MM in restitution; money that had previously been raised in the US (as "charity" donations) by these Islamic organizations. *US donations used to finance terrorist activities and, subsequently, for the results of said terrorist activities--most interesting.

Note: The IAP has often been referred to as the American wing of Hamas--a terrorist group that has vowed to destroy Israel. Of interest, Hamas senior leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said in a recent interview with Arab newspaper Asharq Al Awsat: "We do not and will not recognize a state called Israel. This land is the property of all Muslims in all parts of the world. Let Israel die!" Suffice it to say, this is not an organization that has any desire or any plans for peace.

CAIR currently has enough political and "PC" (political-correctness) clout to cow the US political and business establishment. Even though three of its (now former) members were convicted of federal terrorism charges, CAIR has greatly increased its influence in the US. Of note are CAIR's intimidation of the publication National Review to stop [its] running advertisements for the books "The Life and Religion of Mohammed" and "The Sword of the Prophet" and the recent firing of talk-show host Michael Graham from ABC-Disney Radio for making anti-Islamo-fascist comments. Is a trend being established, here? Are all Radio talk-show hosts no longer going to be able to speak against Islamic terrorism? Watch out Rush, Praeger and Hannity! You may be next.

Islamic education in the US (are these Wahabee schools?) also appears to be in the process of attempting to take over US private school organizations--at least in Texas. In 2004, the Islamic Education Institute of Texas sought inclusion into TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools). As reported by the Houston Chronicle, Edd Burleson (Director of TAPPS) had the 'extreme audacity' to ask questions of the Islamic educational organization. Quoting the Islamic Quran, which calls upon Muslims to be violent against Christians and Jews, Burleson asked in a letter containing ten questions to the group: "Why do you wish to join an organization whose membership is basically in total disagreement with your religious beliefs?" and "Why do you wish to join an organization whose membership is basically in total disagreement with your religious beliefs?" As if asking these questions weren't cheeky enough, Burleson went on to ask about the Islamic organization's position on "the spread of Islam in America" and the objectives of the school "in this regard." A week later, Burleson sent another letter that included the question "Do you teach your students to 'Make war on them (Christians and Jews) until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme' (Koran 8:37)?" These questions were enough to bring the ACLU flying to Islam's defense. The ACLU and CAIR demanded an apology from Burleson! It appears that questions directed to Islamic organizations are no longer to be allowed in the USA. However, as we already know, reverse situations are allowed. Christians may be asked any and all questions and are allowed to be brow-beaten unmercifully by both Islam and the ACLU. Christians are not liked nor accepted by Islam. And if we have learned anything at all from its myriad suits against the teaching or even displays of Christianity, neither does the ACLU. Remember the ACLU's threatened suit against the County of Los Angeles, for merely having a small cross on its County Seal? One has to wonder if the ACLU would have threatened the county if the Islamic crescent had been present. Doubtful. But then, the ACLU is increasingly joining with CAIR on a number of battlefronts and lawsuits. A few of these include the following:

• The ACLU is working with CAIR and Amnesty International (a decidedly in-my-opinion Marxist group) to defend Ghassan Elashi and his brothers who were convicted of terrorism.

• In 2001, the ACLU joined CAIR and other Islamic support groups to challenge the detention of potential terrorists.

• In 2003, the ACLU joined CAIR and other Muslim advocacy groups to challenge portions of the Patriot Act.

• Also, in 2003, the Ohio chapter of the ACLU awarded its yearly "Liberty Flame Award" to the Ohio chapter of CAIR "for contributions to the advancement and protection of civil liberties."

The above cites are only a few examples of the ACLU's increasing alliance with CAIR; an association that does not appear to have any indications of disbanding. Yet, the ACLU's affinity towards Christian groups and Christianity as a whole is nonexistent. Although some may wonder at the ACLU's agenda, I don't. Its current and past actions speak louder than any possible words. Don't believe me? Check the Net, yourself, for ACLU-CAIR alliances. The alignments are there for anyone willing to take the time to do so. I, for one, find it exceedingly troubling.

I found while researching this thread, very distasteful to me. The koran is full of lies, decite, mockery, and hate. Give me my Bible any day, over the koran/quram.

Violence from the start.

Just prior to Muhammad's leaving for Medina, he received a "revelation" allowing him to fight the Meccans. He knew that in Medina, he had a group of armed men who would support him. Furthermore, in Medina, would be more distant from the Meccans and their attempts to oppress or kill him.

After moving to Medina, Muhammad began to have conflict with the Jews and pagans in the area. I'll focus on several incidents, not necessarily in chronological order, that illustrate Muhammad as a terrorist. The first terrorist incident involves Muhammad's command to his followers to "kill any Jew that comes under your power".

"The apostle said, "Kill any Jew that falls into your power." Thereupon Muhayyisa b. Masud leapt upon Ibn Sunayna, a Jewish merchant with whom they had social and business relations, and killed him. Huwayyisa was not a Muslim at the time though he was the elder brother. When Muhayyisa killed him Huwayyisa began to beat him, saying, 'You enemy of God, did you kill him when much of the fat on your belly comes from his wealth?" Muhayyisa answered, "Had the one who ordered me to kill him ordered me to kill you I would have cut your head off."

The Apostle of Allah said: If you gain a victory over the men of Jews, kill them. So Muhayyisah jumped over Shubaybah, a man of the Jewish merchants. He had close relations with them. He then killed him. At that time Huwayyisah, brother of Muhayyisah had not embraced Islam. He was older than Muhayyisah. When he killed him, Huwayyisah beat him and said: O enemy of Allah, I swear by Allah, you have a good deal of fat in your belly from his property.

This murder was committed upon Muhammad's command. Note that this Muslim murderer would have killed a family member at the drop of a hat. Muhammad was no better than a bigoted criminal boss, ordering his men to wantonly murder Jewish people. Hitler did this. And, this is what the Serbs did to the Kosovan Muslims. Muhammad's command to murder Jews puts him in the same category as Milosovic, Hitler, and others who have persecuted Jews throughout history.

Here another man was murdered upon Muhammad's command. This man was 120 years old. He was no physical threat to Muhammad and he did not urge people to commit violent acts against Muhammad or the Muslims. There was no discussion with Jewish leaders, there was no dialogue with Abu Afak; it was just an outright murder of another one of Muhammad's critics. Afak urged the people who lived in Medina to doubt and leave Muhammad. Afak found that Muhammad's sayings were strange and dictatorial. He chided the Arabs that put their faith in Muhammad. Muhammad heard of this and viewed the 120 year old man as a threat to his credibility, not to his life. Nowhere does it say that Afak urged his fellow Arabs to attack or harm Muhammad. Yet for speaking his mind, for the benefit of his friends, this man was murdered by Muhammad.

"Though I knew whether it was man or jinn Who slew you in the dead of night (I would say naught)."

This statement displays that the Muslims knew exactly what they were doing. They knew it was cold-blooded murder that they were committing upon Muhammad's request. They wanted to keep it secret, they wanted to hide their evil deeds from the populace at large. That's why Umama said he wouldn't reveal who murdered Afak.

When I think of what type of people order their followers to commit murder, I only can think of organized crime bosses or corrupt political figures. Saddam Hussein comes to mind. How would an Iraqi be treated if he spoke out about Saddam? Amnesty International just reported that over 1500 political prisoners were executed in Iraq in one year. Or take the Ayatollah Khomenni. His fundamentalist Islamic regime had other dissident Iranians murdered all over the world. These murderous Muslims represent exactly what Muhammad was all about. They follow Muhammad's methodology: kill those who are a threat to your credibility and power over others.

The third incident involves Muhammad's request for his men to murder a women named Asma b. Marwan. When the apostle heard what she had said he said, "Who will rid me of Marwan's daughter?" Umayr b. Adiy al-Khatmi who was with him heard him, and that very night he went to her house and killed her. In the morning he came to the apostle and told him what he had done and he [Muhammad] said, "You have helped God and His apostle, O Umayr!" When he asked if he would have to bear any evil consequences the apostle said, "Two goats won't butt their heads about her", so Umayr went back to his people.

Now there was a great commotion among B. Khatma that day about the affair of bint [girl] Marwan. She had five sons, and when Umayr went to them from the apostle he said, "I have killed bint Marwan, O sons of Khatma. Withstand me if you can; don't keep me waiting." That was the first day Islam became powerful among B. Khatma; before that those who were Muslims concealed the fact. The first of them to accept Islam was Umayr b. Adiy who was called the "Reader", and Abdullah b. Aus and Khuzayma b. Thabit. The day after Bint Marwan was killed the men of B. Khatma became Muslims because they saw the power of Islam."

Let's sum this up and put it in perspective. Muhammad had al-Harith b. Suwayd b. Samit killed. This upset Abu Afak, so he spoke out against it. So, likewise, Muhammad had Abu Afak murdered. This offended Asma b. Marwan and she spoke out against that evil deed. She encouraged her fellow tribesmen to take action against Muhammad. When Muhammad heard of what she had said, he had her killed also. At first glance, this order to kill Asma might seem justifiable. Asma was calling for someone to kill Muhammad. It is understandable for Muhammad to be bothered by that.

But let's look deeper at the event and examine the context of Asma's relationship to her tribe.

First of all, Asma has seen Muhammad in action. She had seen him for what he was, a cold blooded murderer. Of course she spoke out against a murderer. Second, her tribe was not under Muhammad's rule. Perhaps they had a treaty with Muhammad, perhaps not. Either way, this women was free to speak her mind. If a treaty existed, and if Muhammad thought that she was out of line, Muhammad could have complained to her tribe's leaders, and they could have commanded her to be silent or dealt with the situation.

What's more note worthy about this event is that after she was murdered, Muhammad said "Two goats won't butt their head about her", meaning no one will care about her death. (Well except her children and her family). Also note, that there were already people from her tribe who had become Muslims. Certainly these people were not going to listen to her. The point is this: if no one really cared about her being murdered, then no one really cared about what she had to say. Her people also knew about Muhammad having Abu Afak murdered, and they didn't care about that either. Even in that light, no one would take her serious enough to listen to her urgings to murder Muhammad, who was the leader of a powerful group of people. None of her people were willing to put their lives on the line for her words. The bottom line is that Asma b. Marwan was not a legitimate threat to Muhammad. She didn't scare him, she was not the leader of her tribe, and she had little or no influence. She was little more than a nuisance to him. And one wonders why Muhammad didn't kill her himself? It was always easier for Muhammad to have someone else do his killing.

Put the shoe on the other foot. Throughout the Middle East, there are Muslims who call America the Great Satan. These Muslims have called for the violent destruction of America. Frequently great crowds have gathered to chant "death to America, or death to one of its presidents." At times these people have even murdered Americans. Now, if America, or its president, were to use Muhammad's standards, they would engage in killing multitudes Muslims, because Muslims criticized America. America could justify its action by appealing to Muhammad’s standards of treating those who criticized him. But we know that the chanting of a crowd of hot-heads does not necessitate the use of violence against them. There are better ways to deal with critics and criticisms. Frequently, in the passion of youth, people do and say things they don't intend to act out, or are not able to carry out. Given time, people can change, and pursue peaceful dialog. But if one applied Muhammad's standards, American would be justified in bombing Tehran; Israel would be justified in wiping out hundreds of thousands of Arab Muslims.

The only conclusion is that this lady troubled Muhammad and he wanted her silenced. Again, like Abu Afak, she was murdered in the night while she slept. What type of people murder those that sleep? Criminals!

What alarms me the most about Islam is its disposition to violence and use of violence as a standard of God's will. Umayr is a perfect example of this. Here is a Muslim man, a friend of Muhammad's, acting upon Muhammad's request and going into a woman's home under the cover of night. He comes upon the women, sleeping in her bed with her child, and murders her by plunging a sword through her body.

Afterwards, Muhammad tells the man that he has "helped God and his apostle". If Allah were really threatened by this woman, I think He could have killed her Himself, don't you? Does God need men to sneak around in the night and murder sleeping women?

Terrorism in the koran
Note that my comments are in [ ] brackets

Muhammad taught his followers to oppress or kill non-Muslims. Generally, Jews and Christians were allowed to live as such, provided they paid a special tax. This tax is Jizya, a tax revenue given to the Muslims to make up for revenues they lost from no longer dealing in pagan activities. If the Jews and Christians refused to pay this extortion tax they would have to convert to Islam or be killed. Non-Jews and non-Christians, such as idolaters or pagans, had to convert to Islam or be killed. Generally they didn't have the option of paying the tax. Here is the verse that teaches Muslims to oppress Jews and Christians:

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, [which is Islam that abolishes all other religions] of the people of the Book, [meaning the Jews and the Christians] until they pay the Jizya [the tax imposed upon them] with willing submission and feel themselves subdued . [with humiliation and submission to the government of Islam.] Sura 9:29."

The order to subjugate or kill Christians and Jews is in that verse. It is clear that Muhammad ordered his followers to fight those Christians and Jews to convert them or pay the Jizya, and if they didn't convert or pay, do you think that he told the followers to let them go in peace? It is very clear: convert, pay with submission, or die. The background for this is found in "The Life of Muhammad", op cit, page 620,

"until they [the Jews and Christians] pay the poll tax out of hand being humbled", (i.e). as a compensation for what you fear to lose by the closing of the markets. God gave them compensation for what He cut off from them in their former polytheism by what He gave them by way of poll tax from the people of scripture."

Muhammad told his followers to attack the Jews and Christians. If they humble themselves and submit to the Muslims, but choose to remain Christian or Jewish, then they had to pay the Muslims. Again, as Muhammad's circumstances changed, Allah changed. Now Muhammad was an extortionist. Also note that the tax levied upon the Christians and Jews was not to support the state in general affairs, it was to compensate the Muslims. Muhammad was exactly like Mafia crime boss, making others pay for "protection," except it was Christians and Jews who really needed protection from the Muslims! Here is the verse in the Qur'an that teaches Muslims to attack and kill pagans.

"When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. God is forgiving and merciful." Sura 9:5

The background for this verse is found in "The Life of Muhammad",  page 617-619. This a very long passage, so I have only quoted a portion of it:

A discharge came down, [Muhammad received a supposed revelation from God], permitting the breaking of the agreement between the apostle and the polytheists that none should be kept back from the temple when he came to it, and that none need fear during the sacred months. That there was a general agreement between him and the polytheists; meanwhile there were particular agreements between the apostle and the Arab tribes for specified terms. And there came down about it and about the disaffected who held back from him in the raid on Tabuk, [a Christian town Muhammad attacked, and forced them to pay him], .....So travel through the land for four months and know that you cannot escape God and that God will put the unbelievers to shame. And a proclamation from God and His apostle to men on the day of the greater pilgrimage that God and His apostle are free from obligation to the polytheists, i.e., after this pilgrimage. So if you repent it will be better for you; and if you turn back know that you cannot escape God. Inform those who disbelieve, about a painful punishment except those polytheists with whom you have made a treaty. .....If one of the polytheists, i.e. one of those whom I have ordered you to kill, asks your protection, give it him so that he may hear the word of God; then convey him to his place of safety.

Basically, Muhammad had an agreement with a number of Arab tribes. Some were peaceful with him, others disliked him. "Allah" gave Muhammad a "revelation" allowing him to break his word, the "agreement" with the pagan Arabs and attack them after the four sacred months were over. Once again,  Muhammad had gained power, and things changed. Now Muhammad was permitted to lie, i.e., break his agreement, and make war upon the pagans. Muhammad's circumstances changed, and Allah changed again.

Note that in the last quoted paragraph, it is supposed to be God telling the Muslims to go out and kill people. Some of these people had gotten along peacefully with the Muslims. But because they didn't follow Muhammad, they were going to be attacked.

Recent muslim writings on islam and terrorism.

Several muslims have written about the reasons they are allowed to wage war. From "The qur’anic concept of war", by Pakistani Brigadier S.K. Malik, it says, [in the preface]

"But in islam war is waged to establish supremacy of the Lord only when every other argument has failed to convince those who reject His Will and work against the every purpose of the creation of mankind." "Many Western Scholars have pointed their accusing fingers at some of the above verses in the qur'an to be able to contend that world of Islam is in a state of perpetual struggle against the non-Muslims. As to them it is a sufficient answer to make... that the defiance of God's authority by one who is His slaves exposes that slave to the risk of being held guilty of treason and as such a one, in the perspective of Islamic law, is indeed to be treated as a sort of that cancerous growth on that organism of humanity.... It thus becomes necessary to remove the cancerous malformation even if it be by surgical means, in order to save the rest of humanity."

The muslim writer states that those who reject Islam are viewed as a cancerous growth to be violently removed, i.e., murdered. And, note that the Muslim writer basically agrees with the "Western Scholars" who say that Islam is indeed "in a state of perpetual war", with non-Muslims. In viewing what has happened in Algeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Nigeria, Sudan, Israel, etc. it appears the reverse is true, Islam is actually the cancerous growth that has caused so much death and terror in the world.

Muslim Preacher on Temple Mount: Restore Worldwide Islamic Rule

Sheikh Ismail Nawahda, preaching to Moslem masses on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on Friday, has brought it out into the open: the call to restore the Moslem Khalifate, or, "Genuine Islamic Rule."


A plan for the "Return of the Khalifate" was published secretly in 2002 by a group called "The Guiding Helper Foundation." The group explained that it wished to "give direction to the educated Muslim populace in its increasing interest in the establishment of Islam as a practical system of rule."

This past Friday, Feb. 24, however, the plan went public. Sheikh Nawahda called publicly for the renewal of the Islamic Khalifate, which would "unite all the Moslems in the world against the infidels."

The Khalifate system features a leader, known as a Khalif, who heads worldwide Islam. Assisted by a ten-man council, his decisions are totally binding on all Moslems.

According to the Foundation's vision of the Khalifate, significant punishment can only be meted out for 14 crimes, including "accusing a chaste person of fornication," "not performing the formal prayer," and "not fasting during Ramadan."

The Foundation recommends working to restore the Moslem dictatorship using a system of small groups around the world. The purpose is so that the "enemies of Islam" who "will definitely try to stop us" will have a "much harder task, if not impossible, if they are faced with a myriad of small groups of differing locations, ethnicities," etc. This method also "ensures that if one group... is found and cut off, other similar groups will remain undetected."

Sheikh Nawahda reminded his Temple Mount audience that the first step taken by Muhammed in stabilizing his rule was to form the nucleus of the first Islamic country in the city of Medina. Nawahda also said that the status of Moslems around the world has dropped drastically ever since the collapse of the last Khalifate in 1924, after Turkey became a democratic republic.

Nawahda called upon the Arabs of the Palestinian Authority to rise above their personal and party interests, and said that Moslems must return to Islam and join forces in the struggle against the West. He praised the worldwide protests against the anti-Muhammed cartoons, and encouraged the Moslem public to continue such activities. He implied that those who insulted Muhammed are liable for death. The Sheikh designated the Moslem masses as a strong point that can be utilized in the fight against the West.

Brothers and Sisters,

Islam can only be as good and peaceful as their holy book, the koran. I obviously would not wish for everyone to run out and buy a copy of the koran to see just exactly what the Islamic doctrines are. One can easily read English versions of the koran on the Internet or get their own copy for more extensive study. I would recommend this only for mature Christians because the koran is no better than any other cult or false religion material.

If one reads the koran, it becomes obvious very quickly that the koran does NOT teach peace with people of other religious faiths. Many will try to deny the very plain teachings of the koran and say that it can only be properly interpreted in Arabic. This is a known lie, as the koran does teach violence. Let's talk about a simple example regarding a person of another religion. The only peace to be shown according to the koran is a reasonable opportunity to convert to Islam and reject all other gods and religions. If they refuse, the koran directs that they be killed. There are other examples involving violence that are much more blunt than this. The blueprint of violence from the koran is taught to their children in school as a primary topic. They even show their variety of cartoons that show the children what a joy and honor it is to be martyred as a suicide bomber. There are many schools in this part of the world where this hate is being taught right under our noses. We need not wonder why so many volunteer to be suicide bombers because they are brain-washed for their entire lives to do just that.

The truth of this matter is very simple: Islam is NOT a peaceful religion, and it never has been. Even the most moderate of those in Islam are still taught from the same book - the koran. The conclusion is very simple: Islam is a VIOLENT AND FALSE RELIGION. It certainly is NOT a matter of how kindly or gently we treat them, rather a matter of whether we wish to convert to Islam or die. We have been providing humanitarian supplies to hosts around the world for many years. They will take what we give them, but that doesn't slow down the curses and hatred they have for us. We made many of their countries rich by buying their oil, and much of that money finances terrorists whose primary goal in life is to kill us.

It is true that many in Islam don't have an immediate urge to kill us, but the same education and brain-washing has been done from the koran. SO, I doubt it would take much to turn them all into homicidal maniacs who are kill or be killed fanatics. Attempting diplomacy or negotiations is a joke, and it's simply seen as a sign of weakness on our part to exploit. It really isn't their style to attack people who are equipped and able to defend themselves. Their primary targets are the exact opposites - those who are innocent and helpless. They won't stand and fight a worthy enemy unless they are cornered and forced into the fight. Their other tactics are just as cowardly (i.e. hiding among or behind innocents).

Amen Brother Tom, the more I read about it the more it shows that it is indeed a violen and false religion. Also the more I read about it the more that I see it tying into the end times, the possibilities of it being used by the anti-christ himself to deceive so many people.

This book made me sick to read. It was full of hypocrisy. Claimed to be divine in revelation and free of error (Sura 85:21,22), AND in compliance or agreement with the Bible, it is full of contradictions. Just like any other cult, in the world today.

Violence is commanded in Sura 9:5 - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush. "

What if you resist islam? Sura 5:33 - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned. " Definitely a tough Christian mission field if you are caught!!

Command to Al Tawbah: Sura 9:73 - "O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination."

Terrorists?? Sura 8:59-60 - "And let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape. And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them; and whatever thing you will spend in Allah's way, it will be paid back to you fully and you shall not be dealt with unjustly."

Make peace and be friends with the Christian and the Jew? NOT! Sura 5:51 - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely allah does not guide the unjust people." How can a peace treaty ever come when this is commanded to the muslim?

Sura 7:51 and 10:3 claim 6 days of creation... but Sura 41 claims 8 days of creation? Sura 32-48 disagrees with Genesis 7.

There are numerous errors concerning Abraham: father's name was NOT Azar as called in 6:74; he did NOT live in Mecca (14:37); he did NOT sacrifice Ishmael (37:100-112); and he was NOT thrown into the fire by Nimrod (21:68,69).

And how about Muhammad. He was not sinless (Sura 40:55); he had 16 wives and 6' others'. Sura 4:3 forbids more than 4 wives; he never performed a single miracle (Sura 17:91-95). And what about his love for his people? He did not die for anyone. There is no personal relationship with him HE IS DEAD!!

And to the black muslims, have you been deceived? Check this out Sura 3:106, 107  "On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black; then as to those whose faces turn black: Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved. And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide." Hey, my friends, the arabs were enslaving black Africans long before any Westerners did. Slavery is still flourishing in the middle east.

Don't be fooled about what the media says of the basic islamic faith. It is considered for the muslim good strategy to make treaties with their enemies, then at the most opportune time to run rampant with a 'scorched earth' policy while the other party is unprepared. Those in power within its leadership intend to yield “The Sword of Allah.”

Please pray for those muslims who do not understand what their religion and its leaders intend for the world. It is complete domination by the islamic faith. There is NO COMPROMISE you are either one of them or an infidel worthy only of extermination and damnation to hell. Those peaceful muslims in the western world and elsewhere are being played as the fool. If they decide when they find out the truth that this religion is not for them their punishment is DEATH to be carried out by any other believing muslim, whether directly commanded or not. To try and leave this faith is suicide in the eyes of the mainline muslim.

Islam the religion of peace?? Yeah, right. Don't believe what I tell you, and especially not what the media tells you. Do some research and find out first hand, what you have read here. They not only want you dumb, if you are not one of them they want you dead!!

Brothers, and sister let us pray these fools learn islam is violent.

SO, Islam couldn't possibly be a peaceful religion unless the koran is condemned and they teach from another book. The world and our own politicians are simply lying to us to appease Islam. There is probably a reason for all of these lies, and it probably has something to do with slowing more masses from immediately joining those called radical extremists. I would be all for preventing more violence, but I wouldn't be willing to lie in getting it.

Doesn't it really boil down to the simple question of when will they obey the koran? I know that I could live in peace with Islam, but could they live in peace with me? Would this potential peace depend on me, even if I did nothing at all and minded my own business? I don't think so. I think that the only real peace is based on their ability to wage war and our ability to defend ourselves. In other words, the greatest chance for peace is our overwhelming strength to defend ourselves, and nothing else really makes any difference. BUT, we should still be feeding them and doing other acts of kindness and love, regardless of how badly they hate us. I think that this might involve part of the answer that 2nd Timothy was looking for the other day.

"I have never been physically attacked before. I've had slurs thrown at me, got into heated debates, but what was amazing was that I was actually physically attacked," Seva Brodsky said. "Since they were the majority, and felt invincible, they threatened to kill me!"

Brodsky, who recently returned from nearly six months in Israel, captured some of the confrontation on video, available at the weblog Solomonia.com.

The event Friday at Boston's City Hall Plaza was the Muslim American Society's "Justice for Palestine and Lebanon Protest." Participants brought signs, including one calling for "victory" for the terrorist group Hezbollah and the "Palestinian Resistance."

Brodsky reported to Solomonia he was bullied, pushed, shoved, cursed and abused after showing up in Boston where Muslims said they planned to rally to call for an end to the "indiscriminate" loss of life in Lebanon.

The event was held by the Boston branch of the Muslim American Society's Freedom Foundation, where spokesman Mahdi Bray told WorldNetDaily his group's events always are peaceful.

"I've been doing rallies since LBJ was president and I came out of the non-violence movement. Every rally we've ever had, regardless of the politics, all of our rallies are non-violent and peaceful," he insisted.

The local event organizer, Omar Abdala, said in reports that it was "unacceptable" to indiscriminately kill innocent civilians, and he is calling for Israel to pull back immediately.

Israel and Hezbollah, a terrorist faction operating in Lebanon, have been at war for two weeks after an attack on Israeli soldiers left several dead and two more as hostages.

Brodsky said he took out and turned on a video camera as he approached the assembled group, estimated by Boston police at about 500.

"As I approached the crowd I was confronted," Brodsky wrote. He said the man "tried to harass and intimidate me" and blocked his camera. When he tried to lift his camera overhead, to shoot over the top of the man confronting him, Brodsky said the man raised a large white banner to create a new barrier.

Then the crowd started threatening and verbally abusing him, he said, and a "short and skinny" woman screamed hysterically and grabbed his arm and his camera.

"At this point, indignant and even outraged, realizing that I was entirely on my own and no help was forthcoming, I yanked the camera … and a scuffle ensued," Brodsky said.

But one man then told Brodsky he would be hunted down and killed.

Brodsky said he eventually talked with a police officer and was directed to a nearby station, but he hadn't decided whether he would try to pursue a complaint.

Bray said there have been instances of individuals showing up at rallies with their own agenda of violence or intimidation and that he always arranges for police to be at rallies to address problems that do occur.

The Muslim American Society's website carried the Boston Globe report on the event. The paper reported both Muslims and Christians were at the rally and carried signs such as "Free All Palestinian and Lebanese Political Prisoners," "End the Israeli Occupation," and "Stop Aid and Weapons."

Brodsky, however, captured photographs of rally signs that said "Victory to Hizballah and the Palestinian Resistance" and "Zionists Out of the Middle East." A flyer attached to the sign said "Armagedon (sic)."

"I had the wrong type of faith," Brodsky told WorldNetDaily. "The Arabs at the demonstration were so hostile. They could see right away who I was."

The event was a big step among Muslims, said Caline Jarudi, of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in Massachusetts, because Muslims frequently are concerned about vocalizing their views.

Participants in the rally also held pictures of the dead in Lebanon, but a spokesman for the American Jewish Committee in Boston, Lawrence Lowenthal, said Hezbollah has moved into homes and apartments in civilian areas in Lebanon in order to launch rockets at Israel.

"I don't understand what alternative Israel has," he told the newspaper. "Hezbollah is holding Israel hostage."

One must focus on history when one hears the islamofacist battle cry,”We will attack everywhere.” Please do not forget that Spain was really controlled by Arab Muslims for more than seven centuries until they were driven from power in 1492.

It is particularly disturbing to hear that al-Zawahiri has called for Sunni, Shia, and non Muslims to join with al-Qaeda to destroy the United States and the State of Israel. This script follows al-Qaeda’s master plan to to establish a government ruled of the Caliphs.”



For sure, the liberal Howard Deans’ of this world would wake up before it is too late.

 Man cuts off hand in butcher shop

In a surreal scene, police said a man purposely cut off one of his hands in a Springfield butcher shop Saturday evening.
The grisly incident occurred in Super Halal Meat along the 7000 block of Spring Garden Drive, which bisects Brookfield Plaza, home to numerous Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern eateries and markets.

"I'm still numb talking about it," said Vikas Sinsunwal, who saw the man after he severed his hand.

Sinsunwal said he was outside his parents store, Niralla Sweets, when the man, announcing "I did this for Allah," approached his parents' shop lifting his bloody left arm into the air. "I could actually see bone in his wrist," he said.

He said after staring through the front window of his parents' store for several seconds, Sinsunwal said the man then walked toward traffic on busy Backlick Road as people poured out from surrounding businesses. He said police eventually arrived and grabbed the man as he attempted to evade the officers.

Mary Mulrenan, a spokeswoman with the Fairfax County Police Department, said officers were called to the scene for a person brandishing a weapon, but instead found "a man missing a hand."

After securing the man, she said police then called paramedics who transported him to Inova Fairfax Hospital for medical treatment and psychological evaluation.

Mulrenan would not say how the man, who was not identified, amputated his hand.

However, local NBC 4 News reported the man, while waiting on his order of goat meat, walked behind the butcher shop's counter and sliced off his hand presumably with an electric meat cutter. His teenage son was with him at the time.

Police said no criminal charges will be filed.

Fanatics around the world dream of the Caliph's return

It was, according to The Daily Telegraph, "one of the most astonishing acts of suicidal recklessness in the history of a modern or ancient times". On March 3, 1924, Turkish nationalists abolished the Caliphate, the position of supreme leadership handed down from the time of the Prophet Muhammad's first successors in the 7th century.

As Abdel-Mejid II, the last Caliph, went into exile - and later died in Paris - this newspaper predicted "the inevitable stirring up of the Moslem world". Today the Muslim world - and a good part of the non-Muslim world - is undeniably "stirred up".

From the London Underground to the streets of Baghdad and the hotels of Sharm el-Sheikh, the Muslim fanatics who blow themselves up in the name of Islam believe their "jihad" will ultimately defeat the infidel West and restore a Caliph to rule the billion-strong Islamic nation, or umma, according to Islamic law, or sharia.

For Osama bin Laden and his followers the end of the Caliphate was the moment of historic rupture, when foreigners broke up the Ottoman Empire at the end of the First World War and colonised Muslim lands. Even after independence, the regimes they left behind were godless and foreigners meddled in Muslim affairs, not least by supporting Israel.

In his first video released after the September 11 attacks, bin Laden declared: "What the United States tastes today is insignificant compared to what we have tasted for tens of years.

"Our nation has been tasting this humiliation and contempt for more than 80 years. Its sons are being killed, its blood is being shed, its holy places are being attacked, and it is not being ruled according to what God has decreed."

The long crisis of the Islamic world, from Napoleon's invasion of Egypt in 1798 to George W Bush's invasion of Iraq in 2003, provokes two broad responses among Muslims. One is to "modernise" by adopting western models, often in order to stand up to the West more effectively. The other is to return to a golden age by restoring the tenets of Islam.

As a religion that grew with Muslim conquest, Islam does not distinguish between the spiritual and the temporal. Islamists claim that after centuries of Islamic jurisprudence, "Islam has all the answers". But they have yet to resolve the question of how the Islamic state can be achieved: by preaching, political action or holy war? And if jihad is waged, what should be its targets and methods?

The outcome of these debates will do much to determine the course of the violent campaign being orchestrated by bin Laden and his admirers.

For much of the last century, the idea of Islam as a political cause seemed consigned to history as nationalists had the upper hand from Turkey to Egypt, Persia and Pakistan.

Mustafa Kemal, or Ataturk, went the furthest. Having abolished the Caliphate, he turned the rump of the Ottoman empire into the secular republic of Turkey and forced through the wholesale adoption of European legal codes, writing and calendar.

In Egypt, nationalists agitated against British colonialism. Later, Gamal Abdel Nasser's coup in 1952 led to the rise of strident Arab nationalism that demanded the creation of a single Arab state.

Islamists reviled nationalists for fragmenting the "land of Islam", elevating the laws of man above those of God, and worshipping national sovereignty as a false "idol".

The first Islamist mass movement was Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, founded in 1928. It initially emphasised personal piety and educational work, but quickly became a political force under the slogan - still current today - that "Islam is our Constitution".

Nasser's Free Officers briefly co-operated with the Brotherhood, but soon banned it. Its members were exiled, jailed or hanged. Many found refuge in monarchies such as Jordan, which sought allies to confront Nasser's radicalism, and Saudi Arabia, where the growing oil economy sucked in teachers, bureaucrats and workers from around the Muslim world.

Sayyid Qutb, an Egyptian teacher and civil servant, set out the basic doctrines of radical Sunni Islamism, mostly written in Nasser's jails in the 1960s. Qutb believed that Muslims were living in jahiliyya, the state of ignorance and barbarism that existed in Arabia before the advent of Islam. It had to be fought just as the Prophet Muhammad had fought the pagans.

The corollary was that Muslims who did not subscribe to Qutb's notion of an Islamist "vanguard" could be declared unbelievers, or kafir. Qutb was executed before fully elaborating his theory, but it has been seized upon by extreme jihadis to justify killing innocent Muslims.

It was not until the 1970s that Islamists came to the fore through a combination of factors: Israel's defeat of Arab armies in 1967 which broke the prestige of Arab nationalists; Saudi Arabia's petro-dollars which gave Islamists the means to proselytise around the Muslim world; and Ayatollah Khomeini's Islamic revolution which overthrew the Shah of Iran in 1979.

The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan the same year was the rallying cause for Sunni Arab Islamists, including bin Laden, who waged a jihad against the Soviet Union with the help of Saudi money and American weapons, and the co-operation of Pakistan's secret services. Apart from occasional bursts of violence, such as the assassination of Egypt's president Anwar Sadat in 1981 after he signed a peace treaty with Israel, Sunni Islamists concentrated on fighting the Soviets and building grassroots support at home.

The task of confronting America was taken up principally by Shias, the Iranian clerics and their Lebanese allies, Hizbollah, which pioneered the use of suicide bombings against the American marines, French and Israeli forces in Lebanon.

The withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan in 1989 and the end of the Cold War was a turning point. Just like the early Arab and Muslim armies had defeated the Persian empire and then gradually overcame the Byzantines, the Sunni "Arab Afghans" believed they had caused the collapse of the Soviet Union and would now bring down the other infidel empire, the United States. The deployment of US troops in Saudi Arabia to expel Iraqi forces from Kuwait in 1991 further radicalised Islamists such as bin Laden. Yet most jihadis still gave priority to fighting "the near enemy", that is Arab regimes, rather than the "faraway enemy", Israel and its American ally. After the fall of Kabul to the Mujahideen in 1992, Arab fighters returning home ignited bloody insurrections, particularly in Egypt and Algeria.

But as these insurgencies were crushed, more militants became convinced that the only way to get rid of the impious governments was to attack the "faraway enemy" that supported them. The 1993 lorry bombing of the World Trade Centre, carried out by followers of the blind Egyptian sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, was the first attempt to take the war to American soil. Five years later, from their refuge in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan, bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of Egypt's Islamic Jihad, announced their merger to create the "World Islamic Front for Jihad against Jews and Crusaders". They issued a fatwa declaring that "to kill Americans and their allies, civilians, and military is an individual duty of every Muslim who is able."

Their attacks - which saw the suicide bombing of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, and the crippling of the USS Cole in Aden in 2002 - climaxed with September 11. Declaring a "global war on terrorism", President George W Bush quickly toppled the Taliban in Kabul and scattered al-Qa'eda's leadership. However al-Qa'eda fragments or its sympathisers have since carried out a succession of bombings - many of them suicide missions - against western targets in Tunisia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Spain, Iraq, Egypt and now Britain.

Bin Laden's group was once seen as a "holding company" for jihadi groups around the world. But now western intelligence officials speak of al-Qa'eda as a "franchise" in which autonomous militant cells adopt bin Laden's anti-western ideology, terrorist methods and perhaps even the al-Qa'eda name.

A few months after the September 11 attacks, Zawahiri, arguably the real operational brain behind al-Qa'eda, released a "last will" in which he offered the clearest rationale yet for al-Qa'eda's cataclysmic attack on America.

In "Knights Under the Prophet's Banner", Zawahiri acknowledged that Islamists had failed to mobilise the Muslim "masses" against their own rulers. But he argued that the wars against foreigners in the Palestinian territories, Chechnya and Afghanistan had proven popular. Zawahiri said jihadis should now exploit the cause of Palestine, which "has been firing up the feelings of the Muslim nation from Morocco to Indonesia for the past 50 years", by striking at "the Americans and the Jews".

The benefits would include "dealing the blow to the great master"; "winning over the [Muslim] nation" by choosing a popular target; and exposing Arab regimes as western stooges if they tried to stop the jihadis.

Predicting that attacks on America would undermine its friendship with Arab leaders, Zawahiri calculated that the US would have to decide whether to withdraw from the Middle East or invade, in which case "the battle will turn into clear-cut jihad against infidels".

Zawahiri said jihadis should not lose sight of the ultimate goal - the creation of an Islamic state in the heart of the Muslim world, notably in Egypt, as a base from which to "lead the Islamic world in a jihad against the West" and recreate the Caliphate.

Without securing an Islamic state, "our actions will mean nothing more than mere and repeated disturbances".

Since turning on the "faraway enemy", the jihadis have certainly caused much "disturbance", but by Zawahiri's own measure, they have yet to achieve the central objective of seizing real power. In any case, there is nobody in sight who can claim the Caliph's mantle.

What do Islamist terrorists want? The answer should be obvious, but it is not.

A generation ago, terrorists did make clear their wishes. Upon hijacking three airliners in September 1970, for example, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine demanded, with success, the release of Arab terrorists imprisoned in Britain, Switzerland, and West Germany. Upon attacking the B'nai B'rith headquarters and two other Washington, D.C. buildings in 1977, a Hanafi Muslim group demanded the canceling of a feature movie, Mohammad, Messenger of God," $750 (as reimbursement for a fine), the turning over of the five men who had massacred the Hanafi leader's family, plus the killer of Malcolm X.

Such "non-negotiable demands" led to wrenching hostage dramas and attendant policy dilemmas. "We will never negotiate with terrorists," the policymakers declared "Give them Hawaii but get my husband back," pleaded the hostages' wives.

Those days are so remote and their terminology so forgotten that even President Bush now speaks of "non-negotiable demands" (in his case, concerning human dignity), forgetting the deadly origins of this phrase.

Most anti-Western terrorist attacks these days are perpetrated without demands being enunciated. Bombs go off, planes get hijacked and crashed into buildings, hotels collapse. The dead are counted. Detectives trace back the perpetrators' identities. Shadowy websites make post-hoc unauthenticated claims.

But the reasons for the violence go unexplained. Analysts, including myself, are left speculating about motives. These can relate to terrorists' personal grievances based in poverty, prejudice, or cultural alienation. Alternately, an intention to change international policy can be seen as a motive: pulling "a Madrid" and getting governments to withdraw their troops from Iraq; convincing Americans to leave Saudi Arabia; ending American support for Israel; pressuring New Delhi to cede control of all Kashmir.

Any of these motives could have contributed to the violence; as London's Daily Telegraph puts it, problems in Iraq and Afghanistan each added "a new pebble to the mountain of grievances that militant fanatics have erected." Yet neither is decisive to giving up one's life for the sake of killing others.

In nearly all cases, the jihadi terrorists have a patently self-evident ambition: to establish a world dominated by Muslims, Islam, and Islamic law, the Shari'a. Or, again to cite the Daily Telegraph, their "real project is the extension of the Islamic territory across the globe, and the establishment of a worldwide ‘caliphate' founded on Shari'a law."

Terrorists openly declare this goal. The Islamists who assassinated Anwar el-Sadat in 1981 decorated their holding cages with banners proclaiming the "caliphate or death." A biography of one of the most influential Islamist thinkers of recent times and an influence on Osama bin Laden, Abdullah Azzam declares that his life "revolved around a single goal, namely the establishment of Allah's Rule on earth" and restoring the caliphate.

Bin Laden himself spoke of ensuring that "the pious caliphate will start from Afghanistan." His chief deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, also dreamed of re-establishing the caliphate, for then, he wrote, "history would make a new turn, God willing, in the opposite direction against the empire of the United States and the world's Jewish government." Another Al-Qaeda leader, Fazlur Rehman Khalil, publishes a magazine that has declared "Due to the blessings of jihad, America's countdown has begun. It will declare defeat soon," to be followed by the creation of a caliphate.

Or, as Mohammed Bouyeri wrote in the note he attached to the corpse of Theo van Gogh, the Dutch filmmaker he had just assassinated, "Islam will be victorious through the blood of martyrs who spread its light in every dark corner of this earth."

Interestingly, van Gogh's murderer was frustrated by the mistaken motives attributed to him, insisting at his trial: "I did what I did purely out of my beliefs. I want you to know that I acted out of conviction and not that I took his life because he was Dutch or because I was Moroccan and felt insulted."

Although terrorists state their jihadi motives loudly and clearly, Westerners and Muslims alike too often fail to hear them. Islamic organizations, Canadian author Irshad Manji observes, pretend that "Islam is an innocent bystander in today's terrorism."

What the terrorists want is abundantly clear. It requires monumental denial not to acknowledge it, but we Westerners have risen to the challenge.

The Caliphate

In July 2005, I wrote an article titled "What Do the Terrorists Want? [A Caliphate]," pointing out how discussion of the goal of our Islamist enemy is almost non-existent. Today, Elisabeth Bumiller of the New York Times points out in "21st-Century Warnings of a Threat Rooted in the 7th" that the Bush administration has come around to my way of thinking – namely that the Islamist goal is a caliphate (a single, global state, ruled by the Shari‘a)..

    Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said it in a speech last Monday in Washington and again on Thursday on PBS. Eric S. Edelman, the under secretary of defense for policy, said it the week before in a round table at the Council on Foreign Relations. Stephen J. Hadley, the national security adviser, said it in October in speeches in New York and Los Angeles. Gen. John P. Abizaid, the top American commander in the Middle East, said it in September in hearings on Capitol Hill.

    Vice President Dick Cheney was one of the first members of the Bush administration to say it, at a campaign stop in Lake Elmo, Minn., in September 2004. … As Mr. Cheney put it in Lake Elmo, referring to Osama bin Laden and his followers: "They talk about wanting to re-establish what you could refer to as the seventh-century caliphate" to be "governed by Sharia law, the most rigid interpretation of the Koran."

    Or as Mr. Rumsfeld put it on Monday: "Iraq would serve as the base of a new Islamic caliphate to extend throughout the Middle East, and which would threaten legitimate governments in Europe, Africa and Asia."

    General Abizaid was dire, too. "They will try to re-establish a caliphate throughout the entire Muslim world," he told the House Armed Services Committee in September, adding that the caliphate's goals would include the destruction of Israel. "Just as we had the opportunity to learn what the Nazis were going to do, from Hitler's world in ‘Mein Kampf,'" General Abizaid said, "we need to learn what these people intend to do from their own words."

Of course, Bumiller goes on to quote such heavyweight analysts as Kenneth M. Pollack, John L. Esposito, and Shibley Telhami to explain why these top administration figures are wrong to refer to the caliphate. But, as I showed in my article, talking about the caliphate only reflects what the terrorists themselves are saying. (And here's an update: on about September 23, Al-Qaeda started a radio station called Sawt al-Khalifa, or "Voice of the Caliphate.") The Bush administration, in other words, is doing precisely the right thing in raising the specter of the caliphate. (December 12, 2005)

Dec. 17, 2005 update: Another heavyweight, this time investigative journalist Robert Dreyfuss, tells us what he thinks of the aspiration to a caliphate:

    Dreyfuss described as "idiotic" the notion that Islamist forces wished to establish a Caliphate from North Africa to Southeast Asia. This was utter nonsense, he said. What was happening was that those in the administration who made such declarations based them on what they read on Al Qaeda and other jihadi websites. He reminded his audience of the 1974 Patty Hearst case – the American newspaper heiress who joined a terrorist outfit – where the so-called Symbionese Liberation Army planned to overthrow the US government. Such threats, he added, were in the nature of fantasies and should be treated as such.

Comment: I believe in treating the enemy's goals with deadly seriousness, and not dismissing them as "fantasies." As Theodore Dalrymple explains, "impossible goals have had at least as great an effect on human existence as more limited and possible ones."

Jan. 4, 2006 update: Yet another deep thinker doth protest. James Reston Jr., with the coarseness that so often characterizes the Bush administration's critics, used his commentary on (taxpayer subsidized) National Public Radio to attack the "denseness" of American politicians' frequent misuse of the word caliphate. Reston assured his listeners that the prospect of a caliphate stretching across the Muslim world "is nonsense." (On which, see my response at the Dec. 17, 2005 update.)

He also ascribed "scary images of bloodthirsty Oriental despots in black turbans and silk caftans" to the word caliphate. Pointing to the fact that the historic caliphates represented "the height of Arab and Islamic achievement," he concluded that American officials using this term is "yet another slur on Arab history."

Comments: (1) The administration, in fact, is merely repeating a term that Islamists make common reference to; I quoted a number of instances of this in my initial article on this topic. (2) Reston is the one who raised "scary images" – no one in government did so. (3) One wonders what Reston wants Washington to do – avoid any term, no matter how often used by the enemy, if Reston supposes it conjures negative images in Americans' minds? (4) It's this kind of objection that makes one despair of the left ever understanding that the country is at war, for sensitivity is its watchword and highest priority, with security and victory relegated to low priority.

Jan. 14, 2006 update: The Washington Post's Karl Vick has an interesting piece today on the popularity of the caliphate, which he finds is "esteemed by many ordinary Muslims." He cites various pieces of evidence.

    Al Qaeda thrived in Afghanistan when the Taliban leader, Mohammad Omar, was called "Commander of the Faithful," a caliphic title. In his book published online shortly after Sept. 11, bin Laden's deputy, Ayman Zawahiri, declared that terror attacks would "be nothing more than disturbing acts, regardless of their magnitude" unless they led to a caliphate in the "heart of the Islamic world."

    The American-led invasion of Iraq provided an opportunity to do just that, Zawahiri apparently wrote last year to Abu Musab Zarqawi, the Jordanian who heads the insurgent group al Qaeda in Iraq. In the version of the letter posted on a U.S. government Web site, Zawahiri said only the presence of foreign occupiers had stirred "the Muslim masses" to action. He advised Zarqawi to use Iraq's Sunni areas as the base for "an Islamic authority or emirate, then develop it and support it until it achieves the level of a caliphate."

Vicks then focuses on Hizb ut-Tahrir, an organization founded in 1953 with what he calls "a bookish set of beliefs describing its utopian vision for a future caliphate," which will be revived "after national governments are subverted by Hizb ut-Tahrir members working in their highest levels." Vicks notes that Hizb ut-Tahrir members have been charged with planning to carry out coups d'état in Jordan and Egypt. The group also has a following in the West. If membership is up—and an imam in Copenhagen, Fatih Alev, and others say they keep seeing new faces—Hizb ut-Tahrir organizers say it is because more Muslims see events unfolding as the groups predicted.

    "Bush is saying they would establish a caliphate from Spain to Indonesia," said Abdullatif, the group's spokesman in Copenhagen. "The establishment of the caliphate will come by those who work hard." … As the Hizb ut-Tahrir meeting in Copenhagen broke for evening prayers, Muziz Abdullah, an affable native of Lebanon, surveyed a hall still with standing-room only. "Ten years ago, when I started, it was totally unrealistic to think there could be a caliphate," he said. "But now, people believe it could happen in a few years."

In Turkey, where the last gasp of the caliphate was extinguished in 1924, interest in the institution endures. Vicks mentions a Turkish plot in 1998 to fly a hijacked plane into the Atatürk mausoleum in Ankara: "the ill-prepared Turkish plotters told investigators they aimed to do was strike a dramatic blow toward reviving Islam's caliphate." But the caliphate's appeal goes far beyond such extremists. Vicks states that his interviews indicate that "the caliph is cherished both as memory and ideal."

    "Why do you keep invading Muslim countries?" asked Kerem Acar, a tailor in central Istanbul. "I won't live to see it, and my children won't, but one day maybe my children's children will see someone declare himself the caliph, like the pope, and have an impact." … "I wish there was a caliphate again, because if there was a caliphate all the Muslims would unite," said Ertuğul Orel, in a sweater and tie at the sidewalk cafe he owns outside Istanbul's vast Hagia Sophia, an iconic building to both Christians and Muslims. "There would be one voice. But I know neither the American nor the Europeans will ever allow it." From the next chair, gift shop owner Atacan Cinar added, "Before the end of the Ottoman Empire, there was no problem in the Islamic countries." …

    "The concept of the caliphate is very much alive in the collective memory of society," said Ali Bulaç, a columnist and author of several books on Islam and Turkey. "There is absolutely nothing to keep Muslim society together at the moment." Fatih Alev, imam of a moderate mosque in Copenhagen, said Hizb ut-Tahrir was "very unwise" to say that no other Muslim groups were working toward a caliphate. "As of now, the caliphate is totally irrelevant. As of tomorrow, it could be relevant. I would not exclude it."

Feb. 4, 2006 update: Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld in a speech today pointed to the global nature of the caliphate, saying that Islamists "seek to take over governments from North Africa to Southeast Asia and to re-establish a caliphate they hope, one day, will include every continent. They have designed and distributed a map where national borders are erased and replaced by a global extremist Islamic empire." Note the part about "every continent."

Feb. 28, 2006 update: John D. Negroponte testified today that the U.S. government knows "a great deal about al Qa'ida's vision. [Ayman al-]Zawahiri, al Qa'ida's number two, is candid in his July 2005 letter to [Abu Mus'ab al-]Zarqawi. He portrays the jihad in Iraq as a stepping-stone in the march toward a global caliphate, with the focus on Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, and Israel."

    Posters with big, bright-red lettering calling for the establishment of an Islamic Caliphate in Lebanon can now be seen around many streets in Sidon, pasted up by members of Hizb ut-Tahrir, a party banned by Lebanese authorities. On Saturday, citizens in Sidon were surprised to see the posters - especially in areas such as Riad al-Solh street, Sit Nafisa street and Mufti Mohammed Salim Jalaleddine street. The posters call for "reviving an Islamic Caliphate state after the enemies in the malicious and colonial West underestimated our spiritual force. We will only come out strong with an Islamic state." The posters further called for all Muslims to "be loyal to God and His prophets," adding that "loyalty to the Western countries, their rulers or agents is a treason to God and His prophets." …

    Hizb ut-Tahrir's media spokesperson Ayman Kadri said: "The posters were stuck on the walls on the occasion of March 3, 1924, to commemorate the fall of the Islamic Caliphate [and decline of the Ottoman Empire]." He added that "the posters are to remind people of this date and to highlight the importance of reuniting the Islamic nation in one country."

April 6, 2005 update: MEMRI makes available today an interview in Norway's Dagbladet on Mar. 13, 2006 with Najm Al-Din Faraj Ahmad, the Iraqi Kurdish Islamist who goes by "Mullah Krekar,"

    Interviewer: "Is the goal to re-establish the Caliphate - the Islamic rule that was established by the Prophet?"

    Krekar: "Yes. Our Caliph is dead and we are orphans. Therefore we are fighting, like the Jews fought under David Ben-Gurion, for our own state, a state ruled by a true Islamic ruler."

    Interviewer: "What borders should the Caliphate have?"

    Krekar: "It doesn't matter. Things are born, and then they grow bigger. The essential thing is Islamic rule. That was why the West destroyed the Taliban's rule in Afghanistan. They feared the Islamic state."

    Interviewer: "Who should rule the new Caliphate?"

    Krekar: "It doesn't have to be a cleric. A good human being is enough."

    Interviewer: "Is bin Laden such a person?"

    Krekar: "Osama bin Laden and Ayman Al-Zawahiri are among several good people. Weren't Jewish leaders also terrorists before they had their own state?"

May 10, 2006 update: James Brandon provides a fine overview in the Christian Science Monitor today of Hizb ut-Tahrir's drive to re-establish the caliphate. Some excerpts:

    Hizb ut-Tahrir says that Muslims should abolish national boundaries within the Islamic world and return to a single Islamic state, known as "the Caliphate," that would stretch from Indonesia to Morocco and contain more than 1.5 billion people. It's a simple and seductive idea that analysts believe may someday allow the group to rival existing Islamic movements, topple the rulers of Middle Eastern nations, and undermine those seeking to reconcile democracy and Islam and build bridges between East and West.

    "A few years ago people laughed at them," says Zeyno Baran, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and the leading expert on Hizb ut-Tahrir. "But now that [Osama] bin Laden, [Abu Musab al-] Zarqawi, and other Islamic groups are saying they want to recreate the Caliphate, people are taking them seriously."

    Even more moderate Muslim groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt pay lip-service to the ideal of reestablishing the Caliphate, leaving less ideological space for Muslims who want to move toward Western models of democracy. "The Caliphate is a rallying point between the radicals and the more moderate Islamists," says Stephen Ulph, a senior fellow at the Jamestown Foundation. "The idea of a government based on the Caliphate has a historical pedigree and Islamic legitimacy that Western systems of government by their very nature do not have."

    But unlike Al Qaeda, Hizb ut-Tahrir believes it can recreate the Caliphate peacefully. Its activists aim to persuade Muslim political and military leaders that reestablishing the Caliphate is their Islamic duty. Once these leaders invite Hizb ut-Tahrir to take power - effectively staging a military coup - the party would then repeat the process in other countries before linking them up to form a revived Caliphate. …

    Hizb ut-Tahrir promises that a revived Caliphate will end corruption and bring prosperity - though the group doesn't say how. It will let Muslims challenge, and ultimately conquer, the West, its followers say. "The Muslim world has resources like oil but it lacks the leadership that will rule us by Islamic law and make this jihad that the whole world is afraid of," says [Abdullah] Shakr, a Jordanian member of the group, who says the success of the Caliphate will also encourage more converts to Islam - eventually making the whole world Islamic. …

    "Islam obliges Muslims to possess power so that they can intimidate - I would not say terrorize - the enemies of Islam," says Abu Mohammed, a Hizb ut-Tahrir activist. "In the beginning, the Caliphate would strengthen itself internally and it wouldn't initiate jihad."

    "But after that we would carry Islam as an intellectual call to all the world," says Abu Mohammed, a pseudonym. "And we will make people bordering the Caliphate believe in Islam. Or if they refuse then we'll ask them to be ruled by Islam." And after that? Abu Mohammed pauses and fiddles with his Pepsi before replying. "And if after all discussions and negotiations they still refuse, then the last resort will be a jihad to spread the spirit of Islam and the rule of Islam," he says, smiling. "This is done in the interests of all people to get them out of darkness and into light."

The Caliphate is Coming

To Mousa Abu Marzuk, Deputy Chief of Hamas’ Political Bureau in Damascus, HAMAS’ triumph is an important springboard towards the establishment of the Caliphate ­– a global Islamic state, where life would be dictated by the Shari’a.

In a statement Abu Marzuk made on January 26, following HAMAS’ sweeping victory of the Palestinian legislative elections, he said that HAMAS, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), is reaping the fruits of its efforts over the last six decades. It was established in Palestine in 1936 - not in 1987, as most mistakenly think. Since then, the movement, according to Abu Marzuk, has carried out its political, social agenda, including Dawa (Prosetylization) and Jihad.

 

The international community’s calls to prevent HAMAS’ participation in the election, led HAMAS to run under the name of the "Change and Reform List." Yet, this blatant fraud was accepted by all. No one raised his voice to point out the obvious fact that HAMAS simply changed its name for the election. Now, that HAMAS won 74 seats of the 132 seat Palestinian parliament, the world is “shocked.” Yet, it is the West’s willful blindness that facilitated HAMAS participation and victory.

 

Unless the international community takes action to nullify the results of the Palestinian election, HAMAS will spread the MB’s malignant agenda, which is identical to their own, far beyond the Middle East.

 

Both the MB and Hamas are exploiting the U.S. call for democratization in the Middle East, using free elections to gain legitimate political power. Indeed, in December 2005, the MB won 88 seats in the 454-member Egyptian Parliament. This is while neither organization has changed its charter, or is likely to do so.

 

Among the many permanent, deleterious features of Shari’a is a system that subjugates and oppresses non-Muslims. It requires non-Muslims to convert to Islam or pay the jizya tax, a form of extortion, creating a “contract” (dhimma) that “guarantees” the infidels' lives and possessions. In a recent essay Dr. Andrew Bostom quotes the Arabic lexicographer, E.W. Lane, who bluntly calls the tax on “free non-Muslim subjects …compensation for not being slain.”

 

The system's “obligations” institutionalize discrimination (dhimmitude) that targets Jews and Christians only. Others, such Hindus, and Buddhists have a choice to convert or to be slaughtered.  These regulations prohibit them from possessing arms, ringing church bells, testifying in courts, building and restoring houses of worship while restricting many other civil rights as well. Like Nazi regulations, the Shari’a also require non-Muslims to wear special, identifying clothes. These key features of the Shari’a and Islamic ideology as called for by the MB and HAMAS, are political, not merely religious.

 

The spiritual leader of Hamas, the late Ahmad Yassin said: "The 21st century is the century of Islam," and his successor Mahmoud Zahar says, "Israel will disappear and after it the US." With its recent victory, HAMAS seems to be closer to reaching this goal.

 

Compare Hamas statements and its charter to those of al-Qaeda, Hizbullah and other Islamist organizations. All strive to establish a caliphate encircling the globe. Al-Qaeda says: "We will turn the White House and the British parliament into mosques," as documented by Jonathan Dahoah Halevi, director of Orient Research Group in Toronto.

 

It comes as no surprise, therefore, that Iran, a major HAMAS benefactor, is celebrating the terrorist movement’s victory. Its Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Assefi, said that Iran "congratulates the great Palestinian people, the Hamas movement, all Palestinians combatants, and the great Islamic Ummah.” And to ensure the HAMAS agenda, Iran is now considering financial aid to the Palestinians, “if Europe and the US cease funding the Palestinian Authority.” Saudi Arabia, who funded HAMAS all along, also promised $100 million to the Palestinian Authority. Clearly, both totalitarian Islamist regimes are stepping up to support the first democratically elected Jihadist government.

 

HAMAS’ victory, therefore, should be seen as an important realization of the MB agenda, not merely as a localized development. In Jordan, the Muslim Brotherhood “is demanding "true democracy" from the Jordanian king in order to win in elections there,“  while the efforts to impose the Islamist agenda are making strides in Europe.

 

Denmark, for example, has in the last few years become a host country for various Muslim radical groups, mostly offshoots of the Muslim Brotherhood.  The most prominent of these is Hizb ut-Tahrir. Like HAMAS, members of Hizb ut-Tahrir have been connected with the recruitment of fighters for the Taliban, as well as membership in the al-Qaeda terrorist networks. Like HAMAS, they too, under the banner of democracy, are allowed to pursue their Islamofacist agenda

 

According to Jonathan Dahoah Halevi, director of Orient research Group in Toronto, who follows Islamist organizations, they view Denmark as an easy target for the spreading of Islam, a springboard from which to renew the Muslim occupation of Europe. As Sheikh Issam Amayra warned in a recent sermon: "Three percent of the Muslims in Denmark constitute a threat to the future of the kingdom of Denmark. …our Danish brothers will manage to bring Islam to all the homes of the Danish citizens. Allah will grant them the victory in their country in order to raise the Caliphate in Denmark. Afterwards the citizens of the Caliphate (which will be raised in Denmark) will wage war on Oslo, [and] they will fight their neighboring Scandinavian countries in order to join their lands to the territory of the Caliphate. Then they will wage a holy war and spread the teachings of Islam to the rest of Europe, until they reach the original city of Medina.”

Given the global aspirations of these MB splinter groups and the Islamist nature of their agenda, it seems that the West’s unwillingness to recognize their threat to our democracy  will enable them to exploit it until those who survive, will have to do so under the MB’s inspired Caliphate.

The prior articles show what the goal of islam is today, through proselytizing or through force to re-establish the caliphate/khalifate. The caliphate are rising in various countries. There is a very large group in Russia that have gained a lot of ground in 2/3 rds of that nation. There is a movement in the EU to take over that government. CAIR Canada and CAIR U.S. has also stated that is their goal for the Americas.

The Iranian president has also voiced his desire for this throughout the ME and so has many other muslim leaders.

The Caliphate: One nation, under Allah, with 1.5 billion Muslims

AMMAN, JORDAN – The three middle-aged men sitting in an Indian restaurant in Jordan's capital scarcely look like Islamic revolutionaries. They are smartly dressed in Western-style suits and sip thoughtfully from cans of Pepsi as they share their plan to reshape the Muslim world.

"[President] Bush says that we want to enslave people and oppress their freedom of speech," says Abu Abdullah, a senior member of Hizb ut-Tahrir, the Party of Liberation. "But we want to free all people from being slaves of men and make them slaves of Allah."

"We spread our ideas by addressing people directly," says Abdullah Shakr, a fluent English-speaker, who, like all three men, spent time in Jordanian jails for membership in the party. "We don't care if the government knows about us, but ... we try not to catch their attention."

The party was founded in Jerusalem in 1953 by a Palestinian judge, Sheikh Taqiuddin Al-Nabhani. He taught that the Muslim world had grown poor and weak ever since the Caliphate was abolished by Turkish leader Kemal Ataturk in 1924.

The Caliphate was created after the death of Islam's founder Muhammad in 632 AD. During the following centuries the Caliphate expanded Islam's territories by conquest and treaty to cover most of the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa. As the Ottoman Turks lost ground to the West, they increasingly donned the cloak of the Caliphate. In the 1920s, Muslims throughout the British empire, particularly in India, used the restoration of the Caliphate as an anti-colonial rallying point. "People look back on the Caliphate and see its success as a poor reflection on the condition of the Muslim world today," says Mr. Ulph.

Hizb ut-Tahrir promises that a revived Caliphate will end corruption and bring prosperity - though the group doesn't say how. It will let Muslims challenge, and ultimately conquer, the West, its followers say.

Hizb ut-Tahrir's modern leader is a Jordanian known as Emir Atta Abu Rashta. He lives in a secret location in the Middle East and communicates mainly through the Internet. The party is illegal in all Arab countries as well as Germany. Britain mooted banning the group after last year's London bombings. Ms. Baran wrote in the November issue of Foreign Affairs that the attacks were carried out by members of a Hizb ut-Tahrir splinter group. The British government has not formally accused Hizb ut-Tahrir or Hizb ut-Tahrir splinter groups of involvement. Hizb ut-Tahrir's British branch has condemned both the 7/7 and 9/11 attacks. Hizb ut-Tahrir's critics rarely see the organization as a direct threat, however.

"Many people see Hizb ut-Tahrir's aims as utterly unrealistic," says Nadim Shehadi, a Middle East analyst at Chatham House. "Even their understanding of the Caliphate as a strong, powerful state is questionable. Historically the Caliphate only worked because it was very loose and extremely decentralized."

Many analysts say that real danger is that the group radicalizes its followers who may subsequently graduate into militancy.

"People who join won't necessarily end up as violent jihadists," says Shiv Malik, a journalist. "But Hizb ut-Tahrir can provide [them with an] ideological backbone."

Hizb ut-Tahrir is not a mass movement yet, but analysts warn the group has a growing prominence among educated professionals in Europe and the Middle East.

"In Europe they tell Muslims that they have to create parallel societies and that they should not follow European laws," says Ms. Baran. "If this happens it will impossible for people like me to argue that Islam can be democratic."

Baran estimates the group has tens of thousands of followers in Central Asia. "They're stronger in places where people know less about Islam and can't read the Koran in Arabic," she says. "They're not as popular in the Middle East because they don't get involved in the Palestinian cause."

Hizb ut-Tahrir takes a more gradual, long-term strategy for spreading the territory under Muslim rule.

The Muslim Brotherhood "Project"

One might be led to think that if international law enforcement authorities and Western intelligence agencies had discovered a twenty-year old document revealing a top-secret plan developed by the oldest Islamist organization with one of the most extensive terror networks in the world to launch a program of “cultural invasion” and eventual conquest of the West that virtually mirrors the tactics used by Islamists for more than two decades, that such news would scream from headlines published on the front pages and above the fold of the New York Times, Washington Post, London Times, Le Monde, Bild, and La Repubblica.

If that’s what you might think, you would be wrong.

 

In fact, such a document was recovered in a raid by Swiss authorities in November 2001, two months after the horror of 9/11. Since that time information about this document, known in counterterrorism circles as “The Project”, and discussion regarding its content has been limited to the top-secret world of Western intelligence communities. Only through the work of an intrepid Swiss journalist, Sylvain Besson of Le Temps, and his book published in October 2005 in France, La conquête de l'Occident: Le projet secret des Islamistes (The Conquest of the West: The Islamists' Secret Project), has information regarding The Project finally been made public. One Western official cited by Besson has described The Project as “a totalitarian ideology of infiltration which represents, in the end, the greatest danger for European societies.”

What Western intelligence authorities know about The Project begins with the raid of a luxurious villa in Campione, Switzerland on November 7, 2001. The target of the raid was Youssef Nada, director of the Al-Taqwa Bank of Lugano, who has had active association with the Muslim Brotherhood for more than 50 years and who admitted to being one of the organization’s international leaders. The Muslim Brotherhood, regarded as the oldest and one of the most important Islamist movements in the world, was founded by Hasan al-Banna in 1928 and dedicated to the credo, “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

 

The raid was conducted by Swiss law enforcement at the request of the White House in the initial crackdown on terrorist finances in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. US and Swiss investigators had been looking at Al-Taqwa’s involvement in money laundering and funding a wide range of Islamic terrorist groups, including Al-Qaeda, HAMAS (the Palestinian affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood), the Algerian GIA, and the Tunisian Ennahdah.

 

Included in the documents seized during the raid of Nada’s Swiss villa was a 14-page plan written in Arabic and dated December 1, 1982, which outlines a 12-point strategy to “establish an Islamic government on earth” – identified as The Project. According to testimony given to Swiss authorities by Nada, the unsigned document was prepared by “Islamic researchers” associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

 

What makes The Project so different from the standard “Death of America! Death to Israel!” and “Establish the global caliphate!” Islamist rhetoric is that it represents a flexible, multi-phased, long-term approach to the “cultural invasion” of the West. Calling for the utilization of various tactics, ranging from immigration, infiltration, surveillance, propaganda, protest, deception, political legitimacy and terrorism, The Project has served for more than two decades as the Muslim Brotherhood “master plan”. As can be seen in a number of examples throughout Europe – including the political recognition of parallel Islamist government organizations in Sweden, the recent “cartoon” jihad in Denmark, the Parisian car-burning intifada last November, and the 7/7 terrorist attacks in London – the plan outlined in The Project has been overwhelmingly successful.

 

Rather than focusing on terrorism as the sole method of group action, as is the case with Al-Qaeda, in perfect postmodern fashion the use of terror falls into a multiplicity of options available to progressively infiltrate, confront, and eventually establish Islamic domination over the West. The following tactics and techniques are among the many recommendations made in The Project:

 

    * Networking and coordinating actions between likeminded Islamist organizations;
    * Avoiding open alliances with known terrorist organizations and individuals to maintain the appearance of “moderation”;
    * Infiltrating and taking over existing Muslim organizations to realign them towards the Muslim Brotherhood’s collective goals;
    * Using deception to mask the intended goals of Islamist actions, as long as it doesn’t conflict with shari’a law;
    * Avoiding social conflicts with Westerners locally, nationally or globally, that might damage the long-term ability to expand the Islamist powerbase in the West or provoke a lash back against Muslims;
    * Establishing financial networks to fund the work of conversion of the West, including the support of full-time administrators and workers;
    * Conducting surveillance, obtaining data, and establishing collection and data storage capabilities;
    * Putting into place a watchdog system for monitoring Western media to warn Muslims of “international plots fomented against them”;
    * Cultivating an Islamist intellectual community, including the establishment of think-tanks and advocacy groups, and publishing “academic” studies, to legitimize Islamist positions and to chronicle the history of Islamist movements;
    * Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world;
    * Balancing international objectives with local flexibility;
    * Building extensive social networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamist ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant;
    * Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions;
    * Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam;
    * Drafting Islamic constitutions, laws and policies for eventual implementation;
    * Avoiding conflict within the Islamist movements on all levels, including the development of processes for conflict resolution;

In reading The Project, it should be kept in mind that it was drafted in 1982 when current tensions and terrorist activities in the Middle East were still very nascent. In many respects, The Project is extremely prescient for outlining the bulk of Islamist action, whether by “moderate” Islamist organizations or outright terror groups, over the past two decades.

 

At present, most of what is publicly known about The Project is the result of Sylvain Besson’s investigative work, including his book and a related article published last October in the Swiss daily, Le Temps, L'islamisme à la conquête du monde (Islamism and the Conquest of the World), profiling his book, which is only available in a French-language edition. At least one Egyptian newspaper, Al-Mussawar, published the entire Arabic text of The Project last November. 

 

In the English-language press, the attention paid to Besson’s revelation of The Project has been almost non-existent. The only mention found in a mainstream media publication in the US has been as a secondary item in an article in the Weekly Standard (February 20, 2006) by Olivier Guitta, The Cartoon Jihad. The most extensive commentary on The Project has been by an American researcher and journalist living in London, Scott Burgess, who has posted his analysis of the document on his blog, The Daily Ablution. Along with his commentary, an English translation of the French text of The Project was serialized in December (Parts I, II, III, IV, V, Conclusion). The complete English translation prepared by Mr. Burgess is presented in its entirety here with his permission.

 

The lack of public discussion about The Project notwithstanding, the document and the plan it outlines has been the subject of considerable discussion amongst the Western intelligence agencies. One US counterterrorism official who spoke with Besson about The Project, and who is cited in Guitta’s Weekly Standard article, is current White House terrorism czar, Juan Zarate. Calling The Project a Muslim Brotherhood master plan for “spreading their political ideology,” Zarate expressed concerns to Besson because “the Muslim Brotherhood is a group that worries us not because it deals with philosophical or ideological ideas but because it defends the use of violence against civilians.”

 

One renowned international scholar of Islamist movements who also spoke with Besson, Reuven Paz, talked about The Project in its historical context:

 

The Project was part of the charter of the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was official established on July 29, 1982. It reflects a vast plan which was revived in the 1960s, with the immigration of Brotherhood intellectuals, principally Syrian and Egyptians, into Europe.

 

As Paz notes, The Project was drafted by the Muslim Brotherhood as part of its rechartering process in 1982, a time that marks an upswing in its organizational expansion internationally, as well as a turning point in the alternating periods of repression and toleration by the Egyptian government. In 1952, the organization played a critical support role to the Free Officers Movement led by Gamal Abdul Nasser, which overthrew King Faruq, but quickly fell out of favor with the new revolutionary regime because of Nasser’s refusal to follow the Muslim Brotherhood’s call to institute an ideologically committed Islamic state. At various times since the July Revolution in 1952, the Brotherhood has regularly been banned and its leaders killed and imprisoned by Egyptian authorities.

 

Since it was rechartered in 1982, the Muslim Brotherhood has spread its network across the Middle East, Europe, and even America. At home in Egypt, parliamentary elections in 2005 saw the Muslim Brotherhood winning 20 percent of the available legislative seats, comprising the largest opposition party block. Its Palestinian affiliate, known to the world as HAMAS, recently gained control of the Palestinian Authority after elections secured for them 74 of 132 seats in the Palestinian Legislative Council. Its Syrian branch has historically been the largest organized group opposing the Assad regime, and the organization also has affiliates in Jordan, Sudan, and Iraq. In the US, the Muslim Brotherhood is primarily represented by the Muslim American Society (MAS).

 

Since its formation, the Muslim Brotherhood has advocated the use of terrorism as a means of advancing its agenda of global Islamic domination. But as the largest popular radical movement in the Islamic world, it has attracted many leading Islamist intellectuals. Included among this group of Muslim Brotherhood intellectuals is Youssef Qaradawi, an Egyptian-born, Qatar-based Islamist cleric.

 

As one of the leading Muslim Brotherhood spiritual figures and radical Islamic preachers (who has his own weekly program on Al-Jazeera), Qaradawi has been one of the leading apologists of suicide bombings in Israel and terrorism against Western interests in the Middle East. Both Sylvain Besson and Scott Burgess provide extensive comparisons between Qaradawi’s publication, Priorities of the Islamic Movement in the Coming Phase, published in 1990, and The Project, which predates Qaradawi’s Priorities by eight years. They note the striking similarities in the language used and the plans and methods both documents advocate. It is speculated that The Project was either used by Qaradawi as a template for his own work, or that he had a hand in its drafting in 1982. Perhaps coincidentally, Qaradawi was the fourth largest shareholder in the Al-Taqwa Bank of Lugano, the director of which, Youssef Nada, was the individual in whose possession The Project was found. Since 1999, Qaradawi has been banned from entering the US as a result of his connections to terrorist organizations and his outspoken advocacy of terrorism.

 

For those who have read The Project, what is most troubling is not that Islamists have developed a plan for global dominance; it has been assumed by experts that Islamist organizations and terrorist groups have been operating off an agreed-upon set of general principles, networks and methodology. What is startling is how effectively the Islamist plan for conquest outlined in The Project has been implemented by Muslims in the West for more than two decades. Equally troubling is the ideology that lies behind the plan: inciting hatred and violence against Jewish populations around the world; the deliberate co-opting and subversion of Western public and private institutions; its recommendation of a policy of deliberate escalating confrontation by Muslims living in the West against their neighbors and fellow-citizens; the acceptance of terrorism as a legitimate option for achieving their ends and the inevitable reality of jihad against non-Muslims; and its ultimate goal of forcibly instituting the Islamic rule of the caliphate by shari’a in the West, and eventually the whole world.

 

If the experience over the past quarter of a century seen in Europe and the US is any indication, the “Islamic researchers” who drafted The Project more than two decades ago must be pleased to see their long-term plan to conquer the West and to see the Green flag of Islam raised over its citizens realized so rapidly, efficiently and completely. If Islamists are equally successful in the years to come, Westerners ought to enjoy their personal and political freedoms while they last.

The day Rashida was called to family court, she found herself in a scene that nearly stopped her heart. There, before the judge, was her husband of 10 years, father of her two children, the man she thought so enlightened when they first met at the university. That same man was seeking the court's consent to marry a second wife.

It took just minutes for the judge to approve. He ruled that the petitioner, who was a senior government official, earned enough to maintain two families. Rashida's unexplained summons to court was the first she had heard of the matter.

Since her husband's second wedding, two years ago, Rashida has begged him in vain for a divorce and child support. She dares not think of remarrying. If she did, under Morocco's Islamic law, she would be likely to lose her children. That is also why she did not want her full name used.

"This case is cruel, but it's mild compared to many others."

Before Rashida, two women went to the center who had been repudiated by their husbands, effectively relieving the husbands of any further responsibility toward them, and left in the street with their children.

A 14-year-old girl had been raped, which left her pregnant and with nowhere to go. She could not return home. Her oldest brother said he would kill her for dishonoring the family.

Such cases are common, and not just in Morocco, which likes to see itself as one of the more cultured and humane Muslim nations. They occur throughout the Islamic world, where texts of the Koran and a range of appendages attached in the Middle Ages are invoked to deny equal rights to women.

Protests against the humiliation of women in Islamic societies are hardly new. But more Islamic women's groups are speaking out against what they call the Muslim system of apartheid.

The status of Muslim women varies widely. While some have gained rights, others have recently lost them. But like a deep fault line, the issue of how women are viewed socially and legally runs through most of the Islamic world.

Women and what they are forbidden to do or wear are at the heart of the fundamentalist policies in Afghanistan and Iran and even of the divisions that have led to the political violence in Algeria. Whether women should wear head scarves as a sign of religious modesty has been revived as an issue in Turkey. And demands to abolish discrimination in Muslim family laws are testing official promises for greater democracy in Morocco, Tunisia and Malaysia.

But even if these issues are ubiquitous, there has been little motion.

"Islamic countries have modernized many laws in the economy, education, commerce, politics, you name it,"  an Algerian lawyer and a specialist in Muslim women's rights at UNESCO. "But there is practically no movement in the status of women. When it comes to women's rights, religion and theology are invoked.

Change is so difficult because in Islam, women symbolize tradition and cultural identity. It is as if the whole burden of the Islamic tradition rests on their shoulders.

But a public, if relatively quiet, rebellion is under way. The activists do not get much limelight: They usually do not march in protest, either because it is forbidden or because they fear a backlash. But as International Women's Day, on March 8, approached this year, there was a multitude of debates, conferences and television programs about the issues across North Africa, from Morocco to Egypt.

Because the movement is informal and ad hoc, statistics about participation or impact are hard to come by. Almost by definition, it revolves around educated women.

In Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, where women rank among the more emancipated of the Islamic world, activists say the U.N. international women's conference in Beijing in 1995 was an important catalyst for defining the issues and planning action.

But most important, they say, support has grown because women are caught in the growing contradictions and shifts within Islamic societies.

One such shift, in the countries around the Mediterranean, has been the enormous migration from the countryside to the cities in recent years. As a result, more women now go to universities and work as doctors and lawyers as well as in factories and offices. But the archaic laws linger.

Legally they are still as helpless as the illiterate girls on the farms, a Casablanca pharmacist, "We are all legal minors, and we depend on permission of our fathers, brothers or husbands."

Educated or not, a Moroccan women needs the permission of a male relative to marry, name her children or work. She inherits half as much as her male siblings. She can be forced into marriage or polygamy and can be beaten or repudiated without recourse. >:( >:( 

Muslim feminists have long argued that it is not the religion but the male interpretation of the Koran that keeps women oppressed, along with the texts that were added on in the Middle Ages. So the way to reform had seemed to be to re-examine and reinterpret the religious texts. But efforts to reform Islam from within keep failing.

In Algeria, Islamic fundamentalists have been conducting a violent campaign against the government for five years. In Afghanistan, they have captured most of the country and have barred women from virtually all public activities. In both countries they have shown how easy it is to turn back the clock by invoking religion.

Many women now feel that they must fight to expand and change secular law, rather than reform the Sharia, the Islamic legal code.

It is a subject that means little to Zoubida Mhider, 48, who lives in poverty in Rabat. She is illiterate, like almost 70 percent of Moroccan women. In the waiting room of Annajda, a legal-aid office in Rabat, she whispered that she had been beaten by her husband for so long that she finally left with her 11 children.

For almost four years, Mrs. Mhider said, she has been going to court to beg for help with getting a divorce and seeking child support. Her husband usually fails to show up for court appointments, and the court has not pressed him.

Two of the children have married, and she and the younger children have been getting by on money her married daughter sometimes sends from the Netherlands.

Fumbling with her veil, she said she was very religious but did not care if Moroccan law was Islamic or secular. "I just want this settled," she said, sighing.

Fatima Zahra Tamouh, a professor of African history at the University of Rabat, said that in Morocco and a number of countries, migration to the cities had brought more education for women but also more violence, repudiation and divorce.

"In the countryside, couples rarely lived alone," she said. "A husband was accountable to the woman's family -- to her father, her brothers. But there is more abuse and more divorce and repudiation now that couples live alone. The problem is we got a society more based on individuals without the laws to go with it."

In Rabat, Morocco's spacious and sunlit capital, women's groups are mobilizing to get divorce and child-custody rules moved from the Mudawana, the Muslim family law, into the civil code. In 1993 women collected a million signatures in this nation of 28 million people to support such reform. King Hassan II agreed.

But the reforms, made by men, have made little difference. This time, women say, they want a role in drafting the changes.

Equal rights in divorce and abolishing the one-sided act of repudiation are only one aspect of Muslim women's concerns, but in the big cities they affect almost 50 percent of couples, said Mrs. Skali, the pharmacist, who also is chairman of the Association of Democratic Women.

"We want to ring the alarm bell, because divorce is affecting our whole society," she said. "The women are left on their own, with no support. It's one reason why we are seeing more and more street children."

Mohammed’s ethnic cleansing of Medina is rarely mentioned in current books on Islam. During Mohammed’s rule of Medina two Jewish tribes were banished and the remaining tribe slaughtered, a day long process in which all the men were systematically executed by the sword. There was a time that reputable authors felt duty bound to include at least a summary reference to these facts. Here is an excerpt from one book originally published in 1914:

    “At Medina he expected the Jews to recognize the agreement between his teaching and theirs, and to own him as a prophet in the true succession, perhaps as the Messiah for whom they were waiting. The Moslems, when they prayed, turned their faces toward Jerusalem; the Day of Atonement was made a solemn fast for Moslems, the one great fast in the year. Mohammed did not see why if he acknowledged Moses and his Torah, the Jews should not acknowledge him and his Koran.

    The Jews proved obdurate; their doctrine had no place in it for Arab prophets or messiahs. They took a malicious pleasure in exposing the ignorance of biblical history which Mohammed displayed in his stories about biblical persons, thus impugning his claim to have his stories by revelation. He retorted that his was the true and original version; if it was told otherwise in the books of the Jews it was because they had falsified their Scriptures. The attitude of the Jews was not only vexatious, but had in it a visible element of danger. In conjunction with the ‘hypocrites,’ as Mohammed calls the numerous class who outwardly professed Islam but had no real faith in it, they might at more than one crisis have made his position in Medina untenable. In the interludes in the conflict with the Meccans, Mohammed, on one pretext or another, fell upon the Jews, and did not stop till he had driven out all their tribes from Medina, and conquered their strongholds in the oasis of Khaibar.”

Today, it is rare to find such a presentation. Most people are shocked when at mention that Mohammad ethnically cleansed Medina of Jews. “Surely, I would have read of such a horrendous event in my history book,” I’m told by skeptical critics. After reading several books, each with a part of the picture, the whole becomes clear to any open-minded person.

Today’s authors lie by omission in order to present a narrative that isn’t embarrassing to Muslims in light of contemporary standards. The worse offender is John Esposito of Georgetown University. In a recent introductory book he describes Mohammad’s exemption from the 4-wife limit as a result of Mohammad’s kindness. Esposito explains that he married widows to provide them with protection and security. He conveniently leaves out that fact that many, if not most of these women became widows when Mohammad slaughtered the men of the tribe and took first pick of the wives for a trophy.

Understanding the inherent nature of the Islamic supremacist ideology makes it clear: Islam sees the West (and all non-Muslims for that matter) as an inferior realm to be brought under Islamic rule and subjugated. Islam originated as a supremacist ideology that believes it deserves to rule over others.

Muhammad was succeeded by the four “rightly guided caliphs” (632-661 A.D.). During this time Muslims conquered Persia and a major part of the Eastern Roman Empire: Syria, Palestine and Egypt. These military victories had profound religious significance: it validated Islam as the true religion. Following Muhammad’s example, Muslims derived their livelihood from conquest and exploitation, not production and trade.

Muslim apologists scoff at the notion that Islam was spread by the sword since Islam holds that before waging war, non-Muslims must be given the chance to submit. In essence, Muslim warriors were saying “we’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse.” Massacres were common in Syria (634), Mesopotamia (635-642), and soon after in Egypt, Cyprus, Armenia, Tripoli, Carthage, etc. However, in many instances populations choose to accept the change from Byzantine rule to Islamic rule with initially minor change in daily routine.

Islam was initially a racial supremacist ideology that became a religious supremacist ideology. In the first hundred years non-Arab Muslims were excluded from power. Muslims believed Allah spoke Arabic and favored the Arabs. Only Arabs were exempt from slavery, for example. In Islam’s second century, after 750 AD, under the Abbasid caliphs, who ruled from Baghdad, Persians were included in the governing ranks. “To compensate for this, and to replace the wakening bond of Arab ethnic cohesion, the caliphs laid increasing stress on Islamic identity and conformity trying to impose on their vast and diverse empire the unity of a common faith and culture.”

Mother axes daughter to death in Jordan 'honor killing'

AMMAN --  A Jordanian woman hacked her 26-year-old daughter to death in her sleep with an axe for giving birth out of wedlock, the Jordan Times reported Sunday.

The 69-year-old mother and another daughter turned themselves in to police after Saturday's killing, claiming they had acted to cleanse the "family honor," the paper said, quoting official sources.

They were charged with premeditated murder, the sources said.

The victim had been divorced for the past seven years and had given birth to a boy on the day she was murdered.

Hours later "her enraged mother decided to kill her to cleanse the family honor," one official told the newspaper.

"The mother and daughter waited until the victim went to sleep, took an axe and hacked her repeatedly until they made sure she was dead," the official said.

More than 10 women have been killed in similar "honor crimes" since January in the conservative Muslim kingdom.

An estimated 750,000 Christians have been ejected from their homes – and sometimes their own nations – as militant Islamists wage their war on infidels across the Mideast, according to several Christian refugee organizations.

In just recent weeks, more than 100,000 Lebanese who are Christian have been forced to flee the violence ravaging their homeland, according to the Barnabas Fund, a Christian group established in 1993 that channels aid to projects run by Christian nationals in more than 40 countries.

"On both sides of the conflict, Israel and Lebanon, the Christian community is caught in the crossfire," Carl Moeller, the president of Open Doors USA, the Bible-delivering ministry founded by Dutch missionary Brother Andrew in 1955, told WorldNetDaily.

Brother Andrew's story was portrayed in the book "God's Smuggler," which detailed his exploits of driving cars loaded with Bibles behind the Iron Curtain. After the book was published, much of his organization's work was moved to the Mideast, where projects have included the Gaza Baptist Church and Bethlehem Bible College.

"The current conflict in Lebanon has caused almost a quarter of the Lebanese population to relocate, some within their own country, others to Syria and Jordan," the Barnabas Fund said. Other displaced Christians have come from Syria, Jordan, Iraq and the West Bank, numbering up to 750,000 across the region, it said.

There have been about 50,000 Lebanese Christians who have fled to other parts of their own nation, 33,000 who have gone to Syria and another 30,000 who have fled to Jordan, the group said.

"In addition there were an estimated 80,000-100,000 Filipino, Sri Lankan and other 'third country nationals' working in south Lebanon, many of whom were Christians. It is believed that most have left," the Barnabas Fund said.

In recent weeks many Arab Israelis, including Christians, also have fled northern Israel, moving to the West Bank towns of Bethlehem and Jericho, Syria via Jordan and other locations.

The group also reported that large numbers of Iraqi Christians fled their country following the 1990-1991 Gulf War, and the 2003 conflict that deposed Saddam Hussein led to another surge of departures.

"The increasingly ferocious anti-Christian rhetoric and violence since then have ensured that the flow of Christians out of Iraq continues," the group's report said.

Iraq basically has a de facto civil war among the Shiite, Sunni and Kurd populations, and the Christians are faced with the stark choice, Moeller said.

"Do we try to maintain an existence in a society that's crumbling around us? Where do the Christians go?"

However, Moeller said God continues to do amazing things. In northern Iraq, a recent conference for Christian pastors drew 640 leaders, he said.

An estimated 190,000 Iraqi Christians have moved to Syria since 2003, settling mostly in Aleppo and Damascus, while another 195,000 have moved to Jordan, including 45,000 just this year.

The number of Iraqi Christians still in their homeland now total little more than 200,000, officials said, down from 1.5 million before 1990. And many of the 200,000 are displaced within their country, after fleeing Baghdad and southern parts of the nation.

Even after arriving in a new location, the refugees face further difficulties, with a ban in Jordan on Iraqi children studying in government schools, and some nations now refusing entry to refugees.

"Filipinos, for example, do not expect any help from the Filipino government, nor from the Lebanese families who formerly employed them as domestic servants," the Barnabas Fund said.

The biggest needs are shelter, food and clothing, as well as specific medical needs because of war injuries.

A report by Catholic News Service put the estimate for Christians leaving Iraq at about half.

In that report, Chaldean Catholic Auxiliary Bishop Andreos Abouna said of the 1.2 million Christians estimated to have been in the predominantly Shiite Muslim state, there remain only 600,000. Many have gone to Syria, Jordan and Turkey, he said.

There was no way to reconcile the differing estimates regarding the roughly 3 percent of the Iraqi population who are Christian. The rest are Shiite and Sunni Muslims, and in some locations those religious leaders have created a virtual Islamist religious compound where alcohol is banned and rigid Islamic dress codes are enforced, the report said.

United Nations sources also have reported that in Iraq Christians are experiencing increased discrimination in access to jobs and social services. More than one-third of those who have fled Iraq to Syria are Christians, though they make up only a small percentage of the population.

Christian shops legally selling CDs and videos also have been burned and looted and to date, the Barnabas Fund has sent an estimated $20,000 to help 100 Christian refugee families in Lebanon and another $10,000 to help those in Syria.

Today, thousands of UK Muslims are converging on the city of Manchester for ExpoIslamia – a convention that promises to present Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims in its clearest and most original form using artists, comedians and guest speakers, including one who has said that, if he had the chance, he would sacrifice himself as a suicide bomber in Israel.

The day-long event, bearing the theme – "A Call to Humanity," – is the fifth in a series of ExpoIslamia conventions held across the UK.

"Whilst a few espouse a 'Clash of Civilizations,' the vast majority who believe in the innate goodness of humanity need to raise their voice," the organizers say on their website.

Among the guest speakers are several imams, Muslim community activists and leaders of national Muslim organizations.

Mohammed Abdul Bari, Muslim Council of Britain secretary general, was one of the "moderate" signers of an open letter to Prime Minister Tony Blair last week that linked the thwarted terror plot to blow up airplanes over the Atlantic with British foreign policy positions in the Mideast.

A second speaker is Yvonne Ridley, a former British journalist who converted to Islam 30 months after being captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan. She also sits on the national council of Respect, a UK political party, and stood as a Respect candidate in the last general election.

"[Respect] is a Zionist-free party," she declared at a meeting earlier this year. "If there was any Zionism in the Respect Party, they would be hunted down and kicked out. We have no time for Zionists."

She criticized government support "towards that disgusting little watchdog of America that is festering in the Middle East" and promised that a Respect victory would mean the raising of the Palestinian flag in the UK.

Zakir Naik, 40, an Indian doctor, is also scheduled to address ExpoIslamia. Naik, a frequent lecturer, has reportedly declared that it is blasphemous for Muslims to wish Christians a Merry Christmas because doing so acknowledges Jesus as a son of God.

The most controversial speaker, by far, at today's conference is Azzam Tamimi, who has condemned unequivocally the London bombings of July 7, 2005, but who praises suicide bombers in Israel – even to the point of saying he would like to be one.

In 2004, while a guest on the BBC's "Hard Talk," Tamimi, who is director of the London-based Institute of Islamic Political Thought, was challenged over his praise of suicide bombers.

"Why, if it is so glorious and honourable to do this, why don't you do it?" asked the interviewer.

"If I have the opportunity I would do it," Tamimi, who was born in Hebron, answered. "If I can go to Palestine and sacrifice myself, I would do it.

"Why not? You see, sacrificing myself for Palestine is a noble cause. It is the straight way to pleasing my God and I would do it if I had the opportunity," he said.

A video of a recent street rally, following the outbreak of fighting between Hezbollah and Israel, shows Tamimi denouncing Israel.

"Anyone in the world ... must come together in order to eradicate this cancer from the body of humanity. ... We are ever grateful to the late imam Khomeni for starting this occasion. ... [Bush and Blair] are worried that this spoiled baby of theirs is about to be thrown out of this human body of ours. It's just a matter of time. You count my words. ... If they don't want peace, we have another language. We have another language and we have every right to use that language. And time will tell, and history will tell. Allah akbar!"

Organizers say ExpoIslamia is a multi-faith event with other religious groups invited to attend – but Manchester Jewish community leaders said they were not been invited, and other religious groups say they had not heard of the event.

"We appear not to have been invited," a spokeswoman for the Manchester Inter-Faith Forum told the Irish Examiner.

"It is certainly not anything that I or my community would want to be associated with," said Louis Rapaport, president of the Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester. "We are greatly suspicious of what their motives are. We have good relations with the Muslim community here. This is not going to lead to harmony."

Ahmed Khabir, spokesman for ExpoIslamia insisted that speakers would not be permitted to stray into extremist subjects.

"They are here to talk about specific issues. These are not our views or our principles," he said, despite the "Call to Humanity" website's promise that the convention's primary goal is to present Islam in its clearest, original form.

"If they start to talk about these things we will take them off the platform," he said.

Tamiri dismissed questions about his advocacy of suicide bombing.

"That is history. I have not decided what I am going to say," he said. "It is a free country. Are we in a dictatorship now? Let the government prosecute me.”

Christianity by its nature is not compatible with any other religion. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). The Lord didn't say, “I am one way among many.”

During the tribulation hour, a global religious system will be established, and all the world's major religions will be united under the rule of the Antichrist. Right now, the devil is working hard to build a foundation to facilitate that eventual unity.

I maintain that Islam is itself incompatible with Christianity. Western liberal scholars do their best to promote the idea that Islam means peace and love, but they can't hide the vengeful and perverted teachings easily found in Islamic writings. Brothers and Sisters,

A great many have doubts, and those doubts are usually installed and fueled by liberals, most specifically secular humanists. I'm talking about news media and talking heads in our own countries. Those talking heads are empty.

I'll make a complete GUESS and say that doubts of any kind will be erased in less than a year. Much of the world will then KNOW many things, but the LOST won't understand their new-found wisdom and what it means. Those who belong to JESUS CHRIST will understand MUCH MORE. I think that we've already seen previews of the End Days of this AGE OF GRACE. There might be more previews or the actual unfolding of Bible Prophecy. No man knows, but the time is most obviously soon for anyone who studies Bible Prophecy.

The generation living RIGHT NOW is when the unfolding will begin.

All will be according to GOD'S Appointed Time, and no power will be able to slow or hasten it. Obviously, no power will be able to stop it.

The center stage for the End Days of this AGE OF GRACE were set thousands of years ago. Old Testament and New Testament Prophets gave details about what IS TO SOME. The GREATEST AND HIGHEST PROPHET, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF gave details about what is to come during HIS FIRST COMING to Sacrifice Himself for the Salvation of those who would believe. HIS FIRST COMING was in the Greatest Love that could possibly be described, a love far above what mankind can describe.

The SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST will be in GREAT WRATH, THE RIGHTEOUS WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD. There will be a 7 year period of time prior to HIS SECOND COMING known as the Tribulation Period. The last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation Period is called the Great Tribulation. This will be a time of terror and horror like the world has never known.

I won't argue again about the timing of the RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST. I'll simply say that I firmly believe the CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST will be RAPTURED HOME with JESUS CHRIST prior to the Tribulation Period. I will simply say that the RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING are two completely separate and distinct - unique events. JESUS CHRIST RAPTURES HIS CHURCH in the GREATEST LOVE and HE doesn't come all the way down to the earth. HIS CHURCH IS CAUGHT UP (RAPTURED) to meet JESUS CHRIST in the AIR - Forever to remain with HIM.

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST is all the way down to the earth, and it will be in a GREAT AND HOLY WRATH - NOT LOVE!. Heavenly Hosts will follow JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF into battle. Israel and Jerusalem will be the center stage, exactly as described by Daniel and other Prophets. All who come against Israel will be destroyed, and much of the world will die. JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF will defeat and lock away evil for final judgment at HIS Appointed Time. JESUS CHRIST will rule and reign over the earth from the Throne of David in Jerusalem for 1,000 years.

Here's a shock for many, including many Christians who have ignored portions of their Bibles or marked those portions of the Bible off as allegories or otherwise just spiritualized them. JESUS CHRIST is the Anointed King of Israel, and HE will claim HIS Throne. JESUS CHRIST is also the KING OF KINGS of a Heavenly Kingdom. The Nation of Israel will be restored and JESUS CHRIST will be their KING. This Throne has been HIS for thousands of years and it will NOT be denied HIM. In fact, the time will come when all will bow before HIM and NONE will deny HIM! "His own received him not..." at HIS FIRST COMING, but Israel WILL receive HIM at HIS SECOND COMING.

For Christians, we simply need to pray that GOD will give us the strength and guidance to do HIS Will until the last moment. We are NOT of this evil world - our Citizenship is in Heaven.

 Islamic Terrorist Training Camp In New York

Situated within a dense forest at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains on the outskirts of Hancock, New York, Islamberg is not an ideal place for a summer vacation unless, of course, you are an exponent of the Jihad or a fan of Osama bin Laden.

The 70 acre complex is surrounded with "No trespassing" signs; the rocky terrain is infested with rattlesnakes; and the woods are home to black bears, coyotes, wolves, and a few bobcats.

Muslim LaneThe entrance to the community is at the bottom of a very steep hill that is difficult to navigate even on a bright sunny day in May. The road, dubbed Muslim Lane, is unpaved and marred by deep crevices that have been created by torrential downpours. On a wintry day, few, save those with all terrain vehicles, could venture forth from the remote encampment.
A sentry post has been established at the base of the hill.

The sentry, at the time of this visit, is an African American dressed in Islamic garb - - a skull cap, a prayer shawl, and a loose fitting shalwat kameez. He instructs us to turn around and leave. "Our community is not open to visitors," he says.

Behind the sentry and across a small stream stand dozens of inhabitants of the compound - - the men wearing skull caps and loose fitting tunics, the women in full burqa. They appear ready to deal with any unauthorized intruders.

The hillside is blighted by rusty trailers that appear to be without power or running water and a number of outhouses. The scent of raw sewage is in the air.

The place is even off limits to the local undertaker who says that he has delivered bodies to the complex but has never been granted entrance. "They come and take the bodies from my hearse. They won't allow me to get past the sentry post. They say that they want to prepare the bodies for burial. But I never get the bodies back. I don't know what's going on there but I don't think it's legal."

On the other side of the hill where few dare to go is a tiny village replete with a make-shift learning center (dubbed the "International Quranic Open University"); a trailer converted into a Laundromat; a small, green community center; a small and rather squalid grocery store; a newly constructed majid; over forty clapboard homes; and scores of additional trailers.

It is home to hundreds - - all in Islamic attire, and all African-Americans. Most drive late model SUVs with license plates from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The locals say that some work as tollbooth operators for the New York State Thruway, while others are employed at a credit card processing center that maintains confidential financial records.

While buzzing with activity during the week, the place becomes a virtual hive on weekends. The guest includes arrivals from the inner cities of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and, occasionally, white-robed dignitaries in Ray-Bans from the Middle East.

Venturing into the complex last summer, Douglas Hagmann, an intrepid investigator and director of the Northeast Intelligence Service, came upon a military training area at the eastern perimeter of the property. The area was equipped with ropes hanging from tall trees, wooden fences for scaling, a make-shift obstacle course, and a firing range. Hagmann said that the range appeared to have been in regular use.

Islamberg is not as benign as a Buddhist monastery or a Carmelite convent. Nearly every weekend, neighbors hear sounds of gunfire. Some, including a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, have heard the bang of small explosives. None of the neighbors wished to be identified for fear of "retaliation." "We don't even dare to slow down when we drive by," one resident said. "They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it but move, and we can't even do that. Who wants to buy a property near that?"

Islamberg's Grocery StoreThe complex serves to scare the bejeesus out of the local residents. "If you go there, you better wear body armor," a customer at the Circle E Diner in Hancock said. "They have armed guards and if they shoot you, nobody will find your body."

At Cousins, a watering hole in nearby Deposit, a barfly, who didn't wish to be identified, said: "The place is dangerous. You can hear gunfire up there. I can't understand why the FBI won't shut it down."

Islamberg is a branch of Muslims of the Americas Inc., a tax-exempt organization formed in 1980 by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, who refers to himself as "the sixth Sultan Ul Faqr," Gilani, has been directly linked by court documents to Jamaat ul-Fuqra or "community of the impoverished," an organization that seeks to "purify" Islam through violence.

Though primarily based in Lahore, Pakistan, Jamaat ul-Fuqra has operational headquarters in New York and openly recruits through various social service organizations in the U.S., including the prison system. Members live in hamaats or compounds, such as Islamberg, where they agree to abide by the laws of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, which are considered to be above local, state and federal authority. Additional hamaats have been established in Hyattsville, Maryland; Red House, Virginia; Falls Church, Virginia; Macon, Georgia; York, South Carolina; Dover, Tennessee; Buena Vista, Colorado; Talihina, Oklahoma; Tulare Country, California; Commerce, California; and Onalaska, Washington. Others are being built, including an expansive facility in Sherman, Pennsylvania.

Before becoming a citizen of Islamberg or any of the other Fuqra compounds, the recruits - - primarily inner city black men who became converts in prison - - are compelled to sign an oath that reads: "I shall always hear and obey, and whenever given the command, I shall readily fight for Allah's sake."

In the past, thousands of members of the U.S. branches of Jamaat ul-Fuqra traveled to Pakistan for paramilitary training, but encampments, such as Islamberg, are now capable of providing book-camp training so raw recruits are no longer required to travel abroad amidst the increased scrutiny of post 9/11.

Over the years, numerous members of Jamaat ul-Fuqra have been convicted in US courts of such crimes as conspiracy to commit murder, firebombing, gun smuggling, and workers' compensation fraud. Others remain leading suspects in criminal cases throughout the country, including ten unsolved assassinations and seventeen fire-bombings between 1979 and 1990.

The criminal charges against the group and the criminal convictions are not things of the past. In 2001, a resident of a California compound was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of a sheriff's deputy; another was charged with gun-smuggling' and twenty-four members of the Red House community were convicted of firearms violations.

By 2004 federal investigators uncovered evidence that linked both the DC "sniper killer" John Allen Muhammed and "Shoe Bomber" Richard Reid to the group and reports surfaced that Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was captured and beheaded in the process of attempting to obtain an interview with Sheikh Gilani in Pakistan.

Even though Jamaat ul-Fuqra has been involved in terror attacks and sundry criminal activities, recruited thousands of members from federal and state penal systems, and appears to be operating paramilitary facilities for militant Muslims, it remains to be placed on the official US Terror Watch List. On the contrary, it continues to operate, flourish, and expand as a legitimate nonprofit, tax-deductible charity.

Blogger who posted CFP Islamberg story had life threatened

"Dear Robert, Brigette and Paul (Williams),

"Were any of you threatened in any way, specifically for carrying the Islamberg story?" asked a blogger, who copied Canada Free Press (CFP) last night.

Robert is Robert Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, and author of two New York Times bestsellers on Islamic Jihad.

Brigette is Brigette Gabriel, a Lebanese Christian and Middle East correspondent, who is Director of American Congress.

Islamberg not the only radical Muslim compound flourishing in North America

 Paul Williams, prolific writer and author of the newly released Day of Islam, wrote a CFP cover story published May 11, detailing a radical Muslim paramilitary compound that flourishes in upper New York State.

The story, posted by Michael Savage and carried by dozens of blogs, including www.littlegreenfootballs.com, was virtually ignored by the mainstream media.

Someone didn't like the story and that someone threatened the life of U.S. war veteran and blogger Scott Grayban.

Grayban publishes blog.borgnet.us. in Spokane, Washington.

CFP receives thousands of emails from readers. The one from Grayban's blogger friend caught our immediate attention.

The blogger, whose name is being withheld by CFP, hoped flagging the Internet might protect Grayban's physical safety if someone publicized the two threats made on his life over the telephone.

That is the reason for this story.

Grayban received two phone calls on Sunday night from a foreigner, threatening his life.

"The caller used a hacked phone (or internet line) to disguise the location from which he was calling. (Please see jpeg of record/caller ID attached at bottom of page).

"The caller told Scott the precise street on which he lives, that he lives across from an auto shop, that he has a solar panel in his apartment window and the make of the car he drove to the mall on Saturday."

As the blogger pointed out, "These aren't details anyone could obtain from Google Earth."

Someone is following Scott Grayban in Washington State. Yet the local FBI office told him to call the police. The local police told him to call the FBI and his phone carrier (Vonage) said there's no way to trace the call.

There might be a way to trace the call with a court order, but it's unlikely that Grayban could ever get one.

Cold comfort for a man who's being stalked and threatened.

The blogger made the decision to "publicize this threat has occurred" and sent out an email to ask if anyone else who carried this story has also been threatened.

No one at CFP, who originally ran the Williams' story, has been threatened. The writer of this article was unable to reach Paul Williams at his Pennsylvania home at press time and is convinced that she would have heard from the author if he had been threatened.

Williams and Northeast Intelligence Director and private investigator Doug Hagmann, scouted out a Jihadist camp dubbed Islamberg, at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains on the outskirts of Hancock, New York, last summer.

"Islamberg is not an ideal place for a summer vacation unless, of course, you are an exponent of the Jihad or a fan of Osama bin Laden," Williams wrote in CFP on May 11, 2007.

Very few visitors come to Islamberg, where a sentry post has been established at the base of the hill.

"Islamberg is a branch of Muslims of the Americas Inc., a tax-exempt organization formed in 1980 by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, who refers to himself as "the sixth Sultan Ul Faqr". Gilani has been directly linked by court documents to Jamaat u-Fuqra or "community of the impoverished", an organization that seeks to "purify" Islam through violence.

"Islamberg is not as benign as a Buddhist monastery or a Carmelite convent. Nearly every weekend, neighbors hear sounds of gunfire. Some, including a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, have heard the bang of small explosives. None of the neighbors wished to be identified for fear of "retaliation". "We don't even dare to slow down when we drive by", one resident said. "They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it but move, and we can't even do that. Who wants to buy a property near that?"

Meanwhile the blogger who tipped off CFP about the threats to Scott Grayban, emailed to say a report was finally taken by Spokane Washington police. The SPD report number is 07-132-368.

Let's hope that Grayban remains safe from harm.

The Muslim Brotherhood and the Copts

Many have recently wondered about the Copts’ evident concern over the Muslim Brotherhood’s victory of 88 seats in the last parliamentary elections in Egypt. Why, exactly, are the Copts so upset, and would they stand against democracy if it works in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood?

Actually, the Copts are not the only ones to have serious misgivings about this latest development in Egypt’s political life; women, liberals, civil society supporters, leftists, and other advocates of democracy share the same sentiment. The champions of civil society are haunted by the nightmarish vision of a religious government, and it goes without saying that the Copts, as a religious minority, are particularly concerned about the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda with regards to the creation of an Islamic state and Islamic nationalism.

In response to these concerns, the Muslim Brotherhood claims that it does not seek to establish a religious state, but rather a “civil state with an Islamic framework” or an “Islamic democracy.” However, I am challenging if there is any person out there who can pinpoint the exact definition of those ambiguous terms, give accurate details as to what an Islamic democracy entails, or what it means to have a civil state with an Islamic framework.

Most importantly, the Muslim Brotherhood’s history, actions, website statements and newspaper articles confirm the intent to establish a state that has a religious nature and not a civil one. To illustrate:

• Mustafa Mashour, the former supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, was quoted as saying that “Whoever stands against the Muslim Brotherhood is also standing against God and His Prophet.” The implication here is that Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood are on an equal standing or are one and the same. The same feeling is reflected in the statement made by Hassan Hanafi: “What is so terrifying about the Muslim Brotherhood? The Western media is ruining their image in the same pattern it has been ruining the image of Islam and Muslims.” (Al-Arabi, No. 989)

• Essam Al Erian: “The Muslim Brotherhood believes that a comprehensive reform will not have the power to inspire real public participation unless it is resting on an Islamic foundation… We seek to build an Islamic civilization under an umbrella of faith in God and in the after-life, a civilization that would re-establish man’s psychological balance and restore his lost soul.” (Al-Hayat, 30 Nov 2005). I wonder who told Mr. Erian that our souls are lost, and who can possibly determine the meaning of loss and restoration?

• The current supreme guide, Mohammed Mahdi Akef, responded to the civil society advocates’ request for a constitutional amendment which would provide for a civil framework for the state by saying: “This is a futile and foolish request, and we will say no more about it, except to call on the people to protect their own faith.” His deputy, Mohammed Habib, commented by saying, “This request crosses a line that shouldn’t even be touched, because just touching it can trigger a civil war in Egypt.”

• A spectacle that needs no comments: Members of Egypt’s Parliament from the Muslim Brotherhood standing in line to kiss the hand of the supreme guide!

• Mustafa Mashour’s declaration: “For now we accept the principle of party plurality, but when we will have an Islamic rule we will either accept or reject this principle” (in Refaat Al-Said’s Against Islamization). The clear reference to an “Islamic rule,” or in other words, a “religious state,” is proof enough that our fears are well founded.

• Mohammed Mahdi Akef’s statement: “The public opinion is ruled by Shari’a. We should not forget that the Egyptian Constitution states that ‘the Islamic law is the principal source of legislation’” (Akher Saa, 20 Jul 2005).

• According to Mohammed Habib, even the separation of powers should be guided and inspired by the rules of Islamic Shari’a (Asharq Al-Awsat, 27 Nov 2005).

• The Muslim Brotherhood’s main slogan is “Islam is the Solution,” a mysterious slogan that excludes “infidels” such as the Christians and the Jews. The Brotherhood’s flag pictures two swords and the Qur’an and a Qur’anic verse which states: “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies.” (Spoils of War Surah – El-Ghanaem: 60)

• Their proclaimed purpose is to “restore the Islamic Caliphate (Islamic political system and rule).Their former supreme guide, Mustafa Mashour, has frankly stated: “We will not give up our mission to restore the lost Islamic Caliphate.” (Asharq Al-Awsat, 9 Aug 2002)

• The professional syndicates in Egypt bear the mark of the Muslim Brotherhood’s intrusion. For example, the solemn Hippocratic Oath was replaced by a Muslim oath in the Physicians’ Syndicate; hard-earned Egyptian money is being donated to the “brothers” in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya and Kashmir; and the syndicates’ funds are wasted on Islamic projects that belong to the Muslim Brotherhood.

When it is so obvious that public affairs have been turned into “holy” affairs, and the debate revolves around religious credentials and how to best abide by Islam’s rule, it seems pointless to expect that their promised state would be a civil state.

When asked about the program of action for this alleged civil state, the Muslim Brotherhood usually refers to the reform initiative issued in March 2004 in the Journalists’ Syndicate, and which is posted on the Muslim Brotherhood’s website. A study of the initiative leads to the undeniable conclusion that this document is, in fact, a proposal for an Islamic state.

It plainly states: “Our mission is to implement a comprehensive reform in order to uphold God’s law which is good for both secular and religious affairs.” It goes on to state that “Our only hope, if we wish to achieve any type of progress, is to go back to our faith, and to apply the Shari’a,” clearly confirming “our mission is to build a Muslim individual, a Muslim family, a Muslim government, and an Islamic rule to lead other Islamic states.”

The document touches briefly on what we can expect if that mission is accomplished:

- Regarding the media: “The media will be cleansed of anything that disagrees with the decrees of Islam.”

- Regarding the economy: “We believe in an economic system that is derived from Islam… usury should be outlawed as a source of funding.”

- Regarding politics: “The state should have a democratic system that is compatible with Islam, and within Islamic boundaries.”

- Regarding the social system: “The zakah (alms) institutions should be in charge of the distribution of income.”

- Regarding education: “To increase the number of kuttab (a rudimentary religious school) and nurseries, and the focus of education should be on learning the Qur’an by heart.”

- Regarding women: “Women should only hold the kind of posts that would preserve their virtue.”

- Regarding culture: “Our culture has to be derived from Islamic sources.” This would also impact television: “Improper drama and offensive TV shows should be banned.”

The notion of a civil state is nowhere to be found in the sole document offered by the Muslim Brotherhood.

I have yet to meet anyone who knows what Islamic democracy means. As Ragaa ben Salama says: “If we have no doubt that a Muslim can live within a democracy, and remain a practicing believer, can we say the same about democracy surviving an Islamic label? Democracy basically means the supremacy of the people, a rule by the people for the people, so can we call democrats those who opt for an Islamic state which, according to Rashid al-Ghanoushi, is ruled by the highest legislative authority issued by God, the Qur’an and Sunna (the Prophet’s traditions)?

How will we proceed in finding a middle ground between the Holy Texts and human rights principles, and do we have viable suggestions in that respect?
It seems that with that type of “democracy” we will only be trading one tyranny for another, to live under the rule of Shari’a is to experience the greatest level of tyranny, because every tiny detail in human life, whether public or private, is subject to the haram and halal (permissible and forbidden) rules (Middle East Transparent, 21 Dec 2004).

As we can see, the notion of a religious state is a scary one for all, particularly for the Copts, who have not, throughout the history of Islam, enjoyed equal treatment as full citizens while living under a religious Islamic state.

I have met Muslim Brotherhood leaders more than once in the course of television interviews, and it did not take me long to realize that we come from two different worlds and spoke different languages: our civil perspective versus their religious perspective. However, they have been strangely determined to force this delusion of a “common civil ground” on their audience by using a plethora of mysterious expressions and misleading theories. Needless to say, the “delusion” can only work until you discuss the details of their proposals, then their religious orientation will ultimately reveal itself.

The problem with the Muslim Brotherhood is that they are hard to pin down, with their elusive style, word play, taqiyya, contradictory statements, and double language. They are all-set to accommodate different clients: The West and Americans, the Copts, women, liberals, as well as Osama bin Laden and Ayman Al-Zawahiri. To this moment they refuse to condemn the writings of Said Kutb, the philosopher of terror and violence.

Meanwhile, the Copts have particular reasons to fear the Muslim Brotherhood:

First: The Muslim Brotherhood’s racist declarations against the Copts.

• A famous fatwa (a legal pronouncement in Islam) prohibited the construction of new churches in Egypt. The fatwa was published in Al-Dawaa magazine, which speaks for the Muslim Brotherhood, in December 1980, and was issued by Mohammed Al-Khatib who was, and still is, a member of the guidance council of the Muslim Brotherhood movement. Twenty-five years later, the Muslim Brotherhood still acknowledges the validity of this fatwa.

• Another outrageous fatwa issued by Mustafa Mashhour stated that: “Islamic law, Shari’a, is the principal point of reference (authority) for governance. Copts must pay the jizyah instead of joining the army, lest they ally themselves with the enemy, if that enemy happens to be a Christian country” (Al-Ahram Weekly 13 April 1997). A calculated change was later made by Mashhour, who still would not deny the validity of his statement. Recently, on 22 December 2005, Mohammed Akef used the same tactic to contain the angry responses to his statement about the holocaust being a “myth,” but he neither denied the statement nor offered an apology.

• In an interview with the newspaper Azzaman, Mohammed Habib said: “The Muslim Brotherhood rejects any constitution based on secular and civil laws, and as a consequence the Copts can not take on the form of a political entity in this country. When the movement will come to power, it will replace the current constitution with an Islamic one, according to which a non-Muslim will not be allowed to hold a senior post, whether in the state or the army, because this right should be exclusively granted to Muslims. If the Egyptians decide to elect a Copt for the presidential post, we will issue a protest against such an action, on the basis that this choice should be ours” (Azzaman 17 May 2005).

On another occasion he stated that the Copts should submit to Islamic law like the rest of Egyptians” (Mona Al-Tahawi, Asharq Al-Awsat 18 Aug 2005). Later, when it became obvious that his statements provoked an angry reaction, he wrote an article in Asharq Al-Awsat where he stated: “We consider the Copts as citizens who are entitled to the full rights of citizenship, and consequently they have the full right to hold all sorts of public positions except for the presidential post.” (Asharq Al-Awsat, 27 Nov 2005)

The danger here lies in the reasoning behind such statements: the presidential post is considered welaya kobra (major governance) and in this case a non-Muslim is not allowed to govern a Muslim, which completely shatters the basic notion of citizenship. It is a given that a non-Muslim Egyptian will have serious obstacles to be elected president. But, the problem is if an obstacle is based on a religious rule advocated by the Muslim Brotherhood.

While Habib seems to be adjusting his original statement, he is in fact joining his fellows in making a tactical change, given that this principle applies not only to the presidential post but to all senior official posts, as previously mentioned by another Islamist, Dr. Neemat Ahmed Fouad: “Those who are making a big issue out of the fact that there are no Christian governors in Egypt forget that the governor is ruling his governorate on behalf of the president, who is Egypt’s ruler…the same logic and same criteria are applicable” (Al-Ahram, 4 Aug 1992).

This explains Milad Hanna’s prediction: “The Muslim Brotherhood will resort to taqiyya (deceit). They will claim that they believe in citizenship, but I know that the principle of their religious ideology has more power than the intentions of its followers” (Asharq Al-Awsat, 27 Nov 2005).

• In an interview with Sameh Fawzi in 1996, Mamoun Al-Hudaibi answered the question about whether the Copts were considered citizens or dhimmi by replying that they were both. When pressed for a specific answer, he clearly states: “They are dhimmi” (Al-Hayat, 30 Nov 2005).

Second: While the Muslim Brotherhood’s statements and declarations inspire concern, what they have left unsaid is as much a source of concern as what they actually said.

In the reform document, their only one to date, there was not even an allusion to the issue of citizenship, no specific details about other issues, and much general talk. For instance, in talking about their vision, Mohammed Habib says: “To have open and strong relations with the Arab and Islamic regimes, and to achieve a high level of cooperation in the economic, cultural, information and defense fields” (Asharq Al-Awsat, 27 Nov 2005). He avoided mentioning Egypt’s international relations, and its relation with Israel. They have followed that same pattern in dealing – or rather in not dealing – with critical issues, intent on hiding pertinent political and moral details.

Third: The Muslim Brotherhood’s discourse bears a religious and superior tone, with constant references to the “other”, often in a belittling and hurtful manner. Their frequent use of terms such as infidels, crusades, the triumph of the Islamic nation, and the armies of Muslims is guaranteed to antagonize Christians.
The discourse can turn downright hostile, as Hassan Al-Banna was quoted to literally say: “it is necessary to kill ahl el-ketab (Christians and Jews), and God will give a double recompense for those who fight them.” Al-Banna also tackled the issues of employment for non-Muslims in a haughty tone: “It is alright to employ non-Muslims, but only when it is necessary, and in posts that do not deal with matters of public governance” (Messages of Hassan Al-Banna, The Legitimate Printing, 1990, p. 280 & 394 – Samir Morkos, Middle East Transparent, 24 Dec 2005).

At best, the Muslim Brotherhood resorts to vague conciliatory statements such as the famous quote which states: “They (Christians) have the same rights as we do and the same duties as we do.” Yet, there is no way to reconcile the theory of peaceful coexistence on the basis of equality and citizenship and the prospect of a religious majority imposing its rules and perspective on the minority – in that case, we are no longer talking about a citizenship status but about dhimmi status.”

Fourth: The Muslim Brotherhood and their allies insist that the Coptic population amounts to only 6% of Egypt’s total population, in spite of a recent official declaration by Osama Al-Baz that the Copts constitute 12.5% of Egypt’s population, and despite the fact that other organizations have estimated the number of Copts to be 15 millions, i.e., 20% of the population. Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood claims that the Shi’a amount to 30% of the total population of Iraq, while it is a well-known fact that they constitute 50-60% of the population (Mona Al-Tahawi, Asharq Al-Awsat, 8 Aug 2005). This purposeful twisting of numbers and percentages is a strategy used by the Muslim Brotherhood to deny the rights of their opponents, and on this point, they are worse in deceit compared to the current Egyptian regime.

Finally: Egyptian liberals, advocates of democracy, and the national movement strive towards the achievement of “national integration” for all elements of society, but the Muslim Brotherhood has in mind for the Copts a sort of “religious assimilation,” and there is a large difference between the two. Islamization is the first enemy of national integration, it pushes for the religious assimilation of the Coptic minority through a gradual desertion of their faith, or at the very least through a loss of their cultural and religious identity as it melts into the majority’s Islamic culture.

Evidently, Hassan Al-Banna and his followers have managed to sabotage the good work of the national movement. The Muslim Brotherhood is constantly praising the Copts who have accepted the idea of religious assimilation such as Rafik Habib, who promotes this idea among the Copts; Gamal Asaad, a candidate who adopted the slogan “Islam is the Solution” in his parliamentary campaign; and Hani Labib, who accepted a membership in the labor party under the same slogan, and whose books bear prefaces written by Islamic fundamentalists Tarek el-Beshri and Selim el-Awa. According to the Muslim Brotherhood, those Copts represent a commended Coptic ideal.

Throughout the history of Christianity, many martyrs have paid the price for resisting such religious assimilation, but none as much as the Copts.

The idea that religion should become the framework for the state is not acceptable to advocates of civil society in Egypt. It is not even open for debate or compromise. The Egyptians cannot be expected to live according to rules that are more than 1400 years old, and that are contradictory with those of modern civilization.

The Muslim Brotherhood is welcome to the political process if they share the values and principles of the modern world, but definitely Egyptians refuse to go back to those dark ages.

A Soft Jihad Grows in Brooklyn

In Brooklyn, New York, a public school named the Khalil Gibran International Academy (KGIA) has opened.  Its primary purpose -- demonstrated by its advisory board, its apparent curriculum and the lining of school walls with pictures of Arab figures and heroes, is to teach Arabic and Muslim language and culture and to inculcate the children with radical Islamic ideology.

One of the school’s more notorious public supporters is convicted cop-killer and former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal.  The school’s advisory board includes several imams, one of whom has displayed the Muslim Brotherhood slogan on his mosque’s website: “Jihad is our way, and death in the way of Allah is our promised end.”
 
A spokesperson for the school speaks not of the duties of American citizenship but the aspiration towards “global” citizenship.  Perhaps that is why this public school, unlike P.S. 132, calls itself an “international academy.”

Many New Yorkers are appalled that taxpayer money is being used to finance a public school whose purpose will likely advance the Islamic religion and Islamist ethnic identity.  Three local parents, two of whom are teachers, started a grassroots effort called Stop the Madrassa to question this inchoate madrassa disguised as a neutral public school.

Middle East scholar Daniel Pipes has written extensively about KGIA and other such schools now spreading across the country. On the opening day of school, Sept. 4, 2007, civil rights, religious and community leaders held a press conference on the steps of New York’s City Hall demanding answers from Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his Schools Chancellor, Joel Klein. From out of town came Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy, and attorney Brian Rooney of the Thomas More Law Center. That day, Citizens for American Values in Public Education was born, created to fight the problem of Islamization in schools across the country. 

Immediately a request was made of the Department of Education, under the Freedom of Information Act, as to the curriculum, teachers, lesson plans and textbooks of the school. This is not unusual given that schools --- for reasons of transparency and accreditation – must pre-publicize educational content prior to the school year. Indeed, many are wondering about the use of public money for an institution, such as this, with religious overtones. The response to these legitimate concerns is that those that are asking these questions must be “racists.”

For example, Mumia Abu-Jamal asserts: “Racist and right-wing groups and media outlets have demonized the school…”  Councilmember Leticia James talks of “anti-Arab racism …”   The New York Collective of Radical Educators, in its statement supporting KGIA,  called on “New York City to continue to be a voice in the struggle against anti-Arab/anti-Islamic prejudice…” Even Brooklyn’s Borough President, Democrat Marty Markowitz, labeled inquiry into the school “disgraceful, xenophobic, and racist.”

The intent of calling “racist” those who question the school’s goals and legitimacy is, no doubt, to silence critics of the school’s agenda. This attempt to silence Americans is very similar to CAIR’s lawsuit that was brought by Muslim organizations against citizens on an airplane who alerted flight attendants of the fear they felt witnessing highly erratic conduct by six belligerent and provocative imams on a plane.
 
What should be every American’s right to self-defense, or the right to inform appropriate authorities of  possible harm or danger, has now been characterized by a number of  Muslim organizations as “criminal” and, somehow, a “violation of civil rights“ worthy of civil suit. Fortunately, House Republican Steve Pearce introduced the Protecting Americans Fighting Terrorism Act of 2007, protecting citizens from lawsuits when simply informing authorities of possible danger. 
 
It appears that yet another strategy for silencing critics of radical Islam is emerging. It is alleging that critics of suspicious Muslim activities are guilty of “stalking,” “harassing,” or “assaulting.” This new mode of attack is, it seems, being hatched here in Brooklyn. Dhabah Almontaser, the school’s former principal, recently claimed that those non-Muslim community members who were critical of her stewardship at the school “stalked me wherever I went and verbally assaulted me with vicious anti-Arab and anti-Muslim comments.”

With her lawyer standing at her side at the press conference in which she made this claim, she sent a veiled threat of legal action against those who have criticized her.   As usual, those merely critical of policies are being defamed as “anti-Muslim” and “viciously anti-Arab.”  The fact is that, according to Citizens for American Values in Pubic Education and Stop the Madrassa, no one has followed Almontaser on the street or ever threatened her and there has been no personal harassment or stalking.

Ms. Almontaser knows this. Nonetheless, her hope, and the hope of her attorneys, is that concerned citizens in New York and elsewhere in the country will become intimidated by threats of prolonged and expensive lawsuits if they question alarming Muslim activity.
 
Almontaser resigned after a firestorm erupted regarding her support for some T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan “Intifada NYC” that were distributed by AWAAM, one of the organizations affiliated with her. When asked to separate herself from such obvious incitement to violence, she told the New York Post that the slogan merely referred to a “shaking off” and was a chance for young girls to express that they are “shaking off oppression." What “oppression,” she did not say. The Post reports that the co-founders of AWAAM, the distributors of the T-shirt are “active in the more militant pro-Palestinian group, al-Awda, whose main U.S. office is in California,” and that AWAAM is an active supporter of Hezbollah and Hamas.

In an interview with Amnesty International in Europe in January 2002, Almontaser stated that “I have realized that U.S. foreign policy is racist; in the ‘war against terror’ people of color are the target.” Such attitudes about our country raise legitimate concerns as to whether such a person should be a school principal of children for which the tax system is paying.

Citizens for American Values president Stuart Kaufman states, “We will not be silenced through threats of lawsuits or being falsely called names such as ‘racists’ and ‘haters’ and ‘bigots’ or other efforts to silence American citizens exercising their right to freedom of speech.”

In addition to the cop-killer, radical imams, and anti-Americans associated with
the school, Stop the Madrassa is also up against the usual multiculturalists who are pushing Islamic schools -- though they themselves are not Muslims -- as a further means to radically transform our culture and diminish the concept of Americanism historically taught in our public schools. The liberal left is a witting collaborator in the soft jihad that has already arrived on our shores and is moving westward, one that wishes to incrementally carve out Islamic principalities, and brazen influence, in our midst.

Saudi Marriage 'Expert' Advises Men in 'Right Way' to Beat Their Wives

Move over, Dr. Phil, there's a new relationship expert in town.

He's Saudi author and cleric, "Dr." Muhammad Al-'Arifi, who in a remarkable segment broadcast on Saudi and Kuwaiti television in September, counseled young Muslim men on how to treat their wives.

"Admonish them – once, twice, three times, four times, ten times," he advised. "If this doesn't help, refuse to share their beds."

And if that doesn't work?

"Beat them," one of his three young advisees responded.

"That's right," Al-'Arifi said.

He goes on to calmly explain to the young men that hitting their future wives in the face is a no-no.

"Beating in the face is forbidden, even when it comes to animals," he explained. "Even if you want your camel or donkey to start walking, you are not allowed to beat it in the face. If this is true for animals, it is all the more true when it comes to humans. So beatings should be light and not in the face."

His final words of wisdom?

"Woman, it has gone too far. I can't bear it anymore," he tells the men to tell their wives. "If he beats her, the beatings must be light and must not make her face ugly.

"He must beat her where it will not leave marks. He should not beat her on the hand... He should beat her in some places where it will not cause any damage. He should not beat her like he would beat an animal or a child -- slapping them right and left.

"Unfortunately, many husbands beat their wives only when they get mad, and when they start beating, it as if they are punching a wall – they beat with their hands, right and left, and sometimes use their feet. Brother, it is a human being you are beating. This is forbidden. He must not do this."

ISLAM - A SHORT SYNOPSIS OF HOW IT WORKS

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called 'religious rights.'

As long as the muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves - along with threats for failure to comply. For non-muslims, forget about having pork in the stores.

95 MILLION ILLITERATE ARAB PEOPLE

ROME, SEPTEMBER 8 - With 95 million illiterate people, of whom 75 million aged between 15 and 45, the Arab world confirms itself on the first place in the global ranking of the countries whose citizens do not know either to read or write. These are the merciless data presented in Rome this morning during the conference titled "Literacy in the Mediterranean", organised at the Chamber of Deputies as part of the celebrations for the International Literacy Day, called by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. "One out of three citizens is illiterate", Arab League Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ALESCO) director Mongi Bousnia reminded.


This is double the world average (16%). Women are the most affected by the phenomenon, actually 46.5% do not know either to read or write. And also most of those who live in the villages and in the most depressed areas of the Arab world have never had a chance to sit at the school desks. The main causes for that phenomenon," Bousnia pointed out, "are surely the excessive birth rate", as the close correlation between exponential demographic growth and the rise of illiteracy rate (71%) shows in the five most populated states which are part of the 28 countries part of ALESCO. It is not only the demographic boom but also the abject poverty which afflicts these people, as well as the disinterest of the Arab governments which have ignored the literacy issue too long. "In the past thirty years we made many efforts to reduce the rate of the people without education, but the road to go is still very long,"

Bousnia said. In relative terms, the data speak of a constant drop. In 1970 the rate of illiterate adults in the Arab states was 75%, in 1990 it was 48.7%, in 2000 it was 39.9%, while in 2007 the average of illiterate people in this area of the world is around 30%. "Nevertheless, in absolute terms, the number of illiterate Arab citizens is growing at a skyrocketing speed," Bousnia said. From 50 million illiterate in 1970, there were 60 million in 1990s, to the current 95.5 million out of the 335 million citizens of those states. There have been many common efforts - also of the economic type . taken since the 1960s by the Arab governments, but the road is yet to be climbed. "Eradicate illiteracy is a way to increase security in the Mediterranean area," the ALESCO director said.

Here, he believes, the role of the woman is fundamental for fighting against the mentality of hatred and violence which lies on the basis of terrorism. However, investment in literacy programmes is needed. "Tunisian President Ben Ali has launched an appeal to the rich oil-producing countries so that their governments allocate one dollar per each barrel of crude in projects to fight illiteracy in the Arab states," Bousnia said. Not only the institutions, but also the Arab civil society, with its non-governmental associations and organisations, can give its contribution. It is thanks to the NGOs that the poor people in Egypt come close to education, Raafat Abdel Baki, delegate of the Egyptian Education Ministry, explained during the day of study organised by the National Union to Fight Illiteracy, by the Observatory of the Mediterranean and the University of Castel Sant'Angelo. With 17 million illiterates, Egypt is the Arab state with the highest number of illiterate people.

This is extremely sad and explains why ANY education other than their own forced indoctrination is viewed by them as DANGEROUS! This may also explain why a HOLY BIBLE is so DANGEROUS! Someone might be able to read it to them and give them the TRUTH! This should be a matter of prayer for all Christians. I must add that many Christians have already given their lives in trying to help Arab people in many ways. In fact, more Christians by the day are being persecuted, beaten, imprisoned, and killed while trying to help people.
