Title: What is this image/symbol? Post by: acedia on August 06, 2005, 07:01:14 PM I am wondering what this particular image/symbol is. I had never run across it before today, and am wondering what it is. I have a few pictures of it:

I believe this is a symbol from Catholicism, and represents the "sacred heart" of Jesus. It symbolises His sacrifice on the cross and the shedding of blood for the remission of sins. My point is that if I have a username "dientamin" on photobucket, does it mean that I'm "dientamin" on the entire Internet, everywhere this name appears? It is the "Catholic Encyclopdia's" website for the description of what they deem, " devotion to the sacred heart of Jesus".
