This is the person that is hailed as the Christ by Benjamin Creme and has been to some of the crusades of Reinhard Bohnke. The last I heard was that this guy was to show up at some of Benny Hinns crusades also with Hinn proclaiming him to be Christ. I don't know if that ever took place though.

2 Peter 2:1 BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Ezekiel 13:9 And My hand shall be against the prophets who see empty, false, and delusive visions and who give lying prophecies. They shall not be in the secret council of My people, nor shall they be recorded in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord God.

I wouldn't want to be in any false prophet, come Judgement Day.

I've read several articles with the name "Maitreya" in it, but I really didn't have a clue. It's absolutely amazing what some folks will believe. If I was there listening to this clown, I would be looking for the 3 Stooges.

Maitreya's name is derived from the Sanskrit 'maitri' meaning 'universal love'. . There is more than one Maitreya coming out in the world. If the last one made you sick this one probably will also.

Rev. Sun Myung Moon declared himself the Messiah.

There is a forum that claims they have the Messiah there where you can ask questions of him and get direct answers.

There many others not as well known that either claim to be Christ or claim that Christ is walking amongst them here on earth in the flesh.

Everyone should pay close attention to Matthew 24:27, as it speaks volumes and would be a very interesting Bible study.

Yes, there are many pretenders and there will be more. We've had at least three on Christians Unite over the last year. At best, they will be cheap magicians - NOT our Lord and Saviour, JESUS CHRIST! The best of the pretenders will be the anti-Christ himself, and he will show great lying signs and wonders. Hosts will be fooled by the anti-Christ, and he will rule for 3 1/2 years before the return of THE LORD OF HOSTS IN GREAT POWER AND WRATH!

It gives me chill bumps just to think about the AWE, MIGHT, AND POWER OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST!

Revelation 1:7 NASB  BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

There will no longer be any doubt, but it will be too late. THE GREAT AND RIGHTEOUS WRATH OF GOD WILL BE POURED OUT UPON THE EARTH!

It makes me sick to know that some try to make a stage show out of the Second Coming of Christ. If they had any sense, they would fall down on their face right now and beg God for forgiveness for even mentioning HIS MIGHTY NAME in connection with such human nonsense!

No prob. Most people seem to believe it because the media wants us to. I met Jim while I was stationed in Hawaii. The whole thing started out as a joke by a bunch of gay people at some LA gay bash. The media picked it up and it ruined Jims career. Other than an occassional music album he doesn't do much now except run a macadamia nut farm in Hawaii and pretty much stays to himself because of that publicity.

Interesting. Maitraya I know about. Benjamin Creme I know about. What I did NOT know was the endorsement by Hinn.

Anyone have concrete evidence of this? If not, then don't say it. Because you could be partaker in something just as bad as lifting up a flase prophet.

I'm not a real fan of Hinn myself, but this much I DO know: He can't preach what he does except by the Holy Ghost. For no man can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Ghost.

1Co 12:3  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Regardless of whatever motives Hinn preaches by, he still preaches Jesus is Lord.

And the same goes for Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts, previously Kenneth E. Hagin, etc.

Brother, first please know that I have no desire to start an argument of any kind.

I understand your thoughts, but I would have to add some other equally Biblical thoughts about false prophets and false teachers. I would be like you in wanting evidence or proof regarding people like Benny Hinn. We've had several discussions here about Benny Hinn, and folks have various opinions about him. There was so much talk about him that I did go looking for evidence and facts to form my own opinion. I was shocked and did form my own conclusion that he is a false prophet and false teacher. PLEASE, I don't say this to hurt anyone's feelings or start a debate. I simply considered what I found to be overwhelming evidence.

I just did a Google search on this specific topic, and I encourage you to look for yourself. I did what's called an advanced search that used two words with an AND - Maitreya Hinn.

There were 713 links on this specific topic alone, including transcripts, audio, video, and just about any kind of evidence you might want. I didn't take the time to download the audio and video proof, but I did look at enough to form an opinion that the information here is correct. If anything, the information here appears to be understated.

Brother, again, please don't think that I'm trying to be rude or start anything. I spent considerable time once before when I desired to know the real truth about Benny Hinn for myself. You will also find some real problems with his most basic beliefs and teaching. I'll let you look for yourself and let you make up your own mind. Benny Hinn might be the most heavily documented preacher in existence. I did want to look for myself, and I found out why.

Any person's use of His name, or saying "Jesus is Lord" does not make their heartfelt meaning actual and real...but the fruit will tell the tale.
