Title: Soldier survives attack; captures, medically treats sniper (Video)
Post by: Soldier4Christ on July 22, 2005, 01:58:45 AM
Now this is what I call a true Soldier acting in a Christian like manner. Follow the link to see the video.

During a routine patrol in Baghdad June 2, Army Pfc. Stephen Tschiderer, a medic, was shot in the chest by an enemy sniper, hiding in a van just 75 yards away. The incident was filmed by the insurgents.

Tschiderer, with E Troop, 101st “Saber” Cavalry Division, attached to 3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, was knocked to the ground from the impact, but he popped right back up, took cover and located the enemy’s position.

After tracking down the now-wounded sniper with a team from B Company, 4th Battalion, 1st Iraqi Army Brigade, Tschiderer secured the terrorist with a pair of handcuffs and gave medical aid to the terrorist who’d tried to kill him just minutes before.

Pastor Roger,

I fixed the link so it would work. I hope you don't mind. This was a great story, and I got to add another favorite to my news sources. The Army Times site is very informative. Thanks!

Love In Christ,

Thank you, Brother I didn't realise it didn't work and you're quite welcome. Yes, Army Times is a great source for news and so is the Navy Times.

I saw this report on CNN with the video.  Increadible!  As the sniper shot him, he was praising Alla when the soldier fell.  Then, he just gets up and runs behind his vehicle.  Then to turn around give this sniper medical attention!!!   Whos God is bigger?   ;)

Truely an amazing story.....even more amazing to see it on CNN.

I just saw  the video,  awesome! That just goes to show, the Lord, Jesus Christ, is merciful.

Resting in the Lords arms.
