In my mind, I would make this book mandatory reading for every born-again believer. Simply outstanding. Title: Re:The Believer's Authority Post by: cris on July 15, 2005, 03:21:36 PM By Kenneth E. I read your post Zak, and all I could think of was, "what book?". Then it hit me. ;D ::) Some people think Hagin is a false prophet. I can't and won't judge him cause I really don't know. All I know is that some people think we don't have the authority to cast out demons, etc. ::) Grace and peace, cris Title: Re:The Believer's Authority Post by: ZakDar on July 15, 2005, 07:18:30 PM By Kenneth E. Not only can we cast them out, we can also stomp on nhim in every area of our lives. Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. As far as the garbage that has been written about Hagin, I wonder if all those folks realize that they are COMMANDED to love their brother!!! Cuz like him or not, Kenneth Hagin IS a born again child of God. Honestly, I would not want to be in their shoes at the Bema Seat. I know one particular expose accused Hagin of plagiarizing E.W. Kenyon. Now I've read many of Hagin's books, and he states that he never heard of him until someone came up to him and told him he preaches just like E.W. Kenyon. Notwithstanding that, if what Kenyon taught and wrote was inspired of the Holy Ghost, how is that plagiarizing? I'm sure what the Holy Spirit inspires in men is meant for all to profit thereby, and the instrument used is not in question. Of course, you DO notice that the ones making these allegations are book authors. And they even write books about this stuff!!!!!!!! Boggles my mind..... |
