Maybe it was because I bought the movies just after being saved and I was hungry for anything spiritual. Yes, the movie is dorky at times and has a low budget look, but I can live with that. I have loaned the movies out to friends who are not saved. I hope it helps! Maybe I like the movies because I have not read the books.?
