Title: True Story Post by: RachelRH on July 05, 2005, 10:48:52 PM Hello! My name is Rachel and I am fairly new to the forums.
This actually happened to me, when a friend sent me a letter of encouragement. She was quoting a song that had the word principalities in it. She spelled this word as three words, "prince of pallaties." I thought this was so cute. I had to call her up and tell her that only three of her words in the letter she sent me cheered me up. I shared and we both had fun laughing about her oopsie... :) :) :) Title: Re:True Story Post by: JudgeNot on July 05, 2005, 10:58:19 PM Oh! That's a keeper. It reminds me of something Bil Keane - creator of the "Family Circus" comic strip would write! You should email him the story!
(I believe Bil Keane is a real Christian - he certainly reflects a child's "pure" approach to God in many of his strips.) :D Title: Re:True Story Post by: Soldier4Christ on July 05, 2005, 11:10:32 PM That is cute. :D Bil Keane's Family Circus has been a favorite of mine for many, many years. A recent one of his comes to mind and is so much like my own family. The Daddy was walking through the house with a floor full of toys and the caption said, "If God meant for us to go barefoot, He would never have invented Legos."
God bless my grandchildren. |
