2nd Timothy,

I live about 30 miles West of Marlow. All we got that night was some wind, but our little weather-alert radio wore itself out that night.

Brother, I like your photography. I know that tornadoes are horrible things, but they are also like many other things of nature - beautiful in their own way. The last tornadoes I saw in person were in 1999. I was just in the right place at the right time, and the lighting was perfect - still afternoon. I saw three perfectly formed tornadoes on the ground and twisting their way to the Porter Hill area of Oklahoma. I could see them very clearly for almost 10 minutes, but I didn't have anything with me to film it.

I remember many times being close to tornadoes but not being able to see hardly anything. There were many other times that I remember watching them dip down out of cloud formations and go back up. They are an awesome example of nature.

Love In Christ,
Tom

John 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Glad to hear you weren't on the wrong side of this storm.  Also neat to know I was in close proximity to you that day!   :)

Glad you enjoyed the pics.   I wish I was better at photography, but I guess when photographing something like this its hard to take your time composing things....lol     I certainly find severe weather to be facinating.   I like seeing it in action, but I would prefer to see it out in the middle of no mans land where no one would get hurt.

Not to keep boring you guys with my silly hobby  :P, but I have a video clip of the tornado in Marlow available if anyone wants to view it.   For obvious band width reasons, anyone wishing to see it can PM me for a direct link to the file.   Its 9.7 megs in size.

I promise I'll shut up now  :-X  :D   and get back to Christian topics soon!

Grace and Peace!
