Title: Just a Friendly Reminder
Post by: JudgeNot on May 09, 2005, 03:29:30 PM
Lest we forget:

Isaiah 40:
28 Have you not known?  Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary.  His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

For some reason, these passages have been on my mind as of late and I felt compelled to post them.  Maybe because someone here needs to read them??  :)
God bless all,
JN

Brother Jim,

I love that beautiful portion of Scripture, and I think that all Christians need to be reminded on a regular basis that our strength is in the LORD, not ourselves.

Thanks for a beautiful reminder.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Psalms 62:7  In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
