hi there everybody!
           my name is james found your site from a friend in ireland. some background info;
 i was brought up in a christian home and heard the gospel from the time i was born. i was a rebel at heart and could not wait to get away from home and try on the world and good ol satan provided all the excitement i could handle.in the twenty four years way from home i not only tried it all but became addicted to a lot of things i never saw in my family homr, i.e. alcohol,drugs,gambling, to living on the street. in sept of 1992 i heard a man quote hebrews 9:27 it is appointed unto a man once to die but after this the judgement and i knew that i was going to die someday but for the first time in my life i admitted that i was not ready to meet God. i began to read my bible and ask God to help me. 1:00 o,clock in the morning on dec.16/92 while laying on my bed reading the bible i suddenly in my mind had as it were a vision as if i was at mount Calvary and watched the LORD JESUS CHRIST being crucified and i wondered why GOD would allow man to do what they did to the LORD JESUS and why the LORD JESUS would willing take my place. the 20th verse of galations 2 came to mind He was the SON of GOD who loved me and gave Himself for me and for the first time in my life i took GOD at His word and i was born again never again would i ever be on the road to the place called hell.praise GOD from whom all blessings flow. that why i call myself sinner but now a sinner saved by grace. GOD bless all who read this i hope you know him like i do, a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

sara nice to see your responce to my post justto point out one thing this is an amazing story but it is Gods doing and it is marvellous in our eyes. God is soooo kind to us  God bless you very much. i spent some time in your part of the world in the early nineties with the canadian military had lots of fun.

Thank you, I love to hear true stories about things God has done and sometimes is doing in peoples lifes. It helps me to believe and when I look at my family I know that He is with us too... I think that only my mother would live today if God hadn't been there...maybe me and my brother and sister too...
