Title: The REAL Political Roots of America Post by: JudgeNot on April 14, 2005, 05:18:51 PM For those of us at CU who are American - what are our political roots? The REAL political roots that have been stricken by revisionist historians from our children's text books?
The following link is a good place to begin your quest to discover if America was, in fact, intended to be a Christian nation. I suggest you share it with your school-aged children. http://www.wtv-zone.com/Mary/forsakenroots.html (http://www.wtv-zone.com/Mary/forsakenroots.html) Title: Re:The REAL Political Roots of America Post by: Soldier4Christ on April 14, 2005, 07:43:55 PM Thank you, JudgeNot.
Title: Re:The REAL Political Roots of America Post by: JudgeNot on April 14, 2005, 09:31:44 PM Pastor Roger,
Jesus says “You’re welcome!” (Give Him the glory… I’m just the unworthy messenger.) ;D I’d like to solicit your opinion, Pastor Roger – since the Christian history of our nation is taboo in public schools; do you believe it would be appropriate to teach it to teenagers in Sunday school or do you think ‘separation’ goes both ways? This is the kind of stuff I’d love to teach, but only if it is appropriate. I know there are Christians who would frown on Sunday school teachings that reach outside pure biblical history into ‘modern’ history, but to me, they’re “untanglably entwined”. Be blessed – JN Title: Re:The REAL Political Roots of America Post by: Reba on April 14, 2005, 11:45:33 PM TEACH IT
And when you are done teach it again. We need MEN who are willing to stand up for what is right. We need these MEN in the schools, churches, homes, workplace WE need such strong MEN in The Good ol USA..... Just incase you misunderstood ...... Teach it ...it is truth Title: Re:The REAL Political Roots of America Post by: Soldier4Christ on April 14, 2005, 11:55:28 PM Teaching about Jesus is what Sunday School is all about this includes history as well as the Gospel. Do we not also teach about history when we teach from the Bible after all the Bible is full of history. I am all for it. Not only Sunday School but preached from the pulpit.
